Power "I" Meditation - Day 40 of 49
Day 40 of a 49 features a Power "I" Meditation. This 49 Day Meditation Series is based on the Art of Conscious Evolution Chakra deck by Kate Lemay. Today's theme is Power "I" in the Solar Plexus, Third Chakra or Manipura. Kate's 49 paintings each honor a different chakra, 7 each for the 7 main energy centers. We will be moving from root to crown, and back down again, alternating for 7 weeks. I hope you enjoy the journey and are inspired by the paintings, themes and whimsy of the incredible artist, Kate Lemay.

Welcome to your Day 40 Meditation. Today's theme is Power "I". I'll be reading the description of Kate Le May's painting and chakra card, Power "I".
Imagine a current of energy rising. Feel it in the base of your spine, run it from hip to hip up your spine and shoulder to shoulder, then back down your spine and repeat. This exercise charges your core, strengthening your awareness that you are the same energy that creates worlds.
Become aware of your Power "I", for this is the powerhouse of creation. The mantra for this painting in card is I am the power.
Find a position where you can maintain a nice long spine. If you can, close your eyes.
Begin to notice the breath. Maybe you imagine as if on the inhale and the exhale, you can feel the energy rising and falling up and down the spine.
Bring your awareness to the center of the abdomen. The solar plexus, the color is yellow. This is where we can breathe into our power, our light, our center.
And the Power "I" painting gives us the beautiful visual of shoulder to shoulder, hip to hip, and the spine, creating that capital "I". Allow yourself to breathe into your power, into your energy, knowing that that same energy is the energy that creates worlds.
So breathe into what your body might be needing in this moment, because power can mean different things. Power can be in stillness and it can also be in action. As you meditate on Power "I", you can whisper quietly, inwardly to yourself, the mantra, I am the power. And when you hear the sound of the singing bowl, you will know your meditation is complete.
(PAUSE TO REFLECT)
Begin to bring your awareness back to your body in this moment. Draw your palms together at the center of your heart if you can. Namaste.
