Heart Meditation - Day 46 of 49
Day 46 of a 49 features a Heart Meditation. This 49 Day Meditation Series is based on the Art of Conscious Evolution Chakra deck by Kate Lemay. Today's theme is Heart in the Fourth Chakra, Heart or Anahata. Kate's 49 paintings each honor a different chakra, 7 each for the 7 main energy centers. We will be moving from root to crown, and back down again, alternating for 7 weeks. I hope you enjoy the journey and are inspired by the paintings, themes and whimsy of the incredible artist, Kate Lemay.

Welcome to your Day 46 Meditation. Today's theme is Heart. I'll be reading the description of Kate Lemay's painting and chakra card, Heart.
This is an image of a biological heart encircled by and connected to symbols of the heart. The heart generates the largest electromagnetic field in the body.
Living in LOVE, giving true compassion, grace, and kindness profoundly affects our electromagnetic field.
When possible, practice true compassion in Community or Common Unity, for this strengthens and grounds our dreams in the much needed support and co-creation process of working with others. Consciously connect and build deep Common Unity.
The mantra for this painting and card is I love.
Find a position where you can maintain a nice long spine. If you can close your eyes. Begin to notice the breath. The breath begins in our heart space. Feel the breath filling up the lungs. And then notice the chest deflate as the breath exits the body.
Allow yourself to breathe into your beautiful heart. The color of the heart space is emerald green. This is where we experience the feelings of love, grief, forgiveness, sadness, joy, and where we are in relationship with ourselves and one another.
If you want to visualize, you could imagine yourself in the center of a garden. The center is the heart. It is you. And what seeds are you going to plant? What's going to get nurtured, watered, receive sunlight in order to expand and grow. Allow yourself to be in Common Unity with your garden. Maybe you imagine all your favorite people there tending to your garden with you. Maybe you have a garden party. Allow this space, this place to be magical and to be filled with love and all things heart.
As you meditate on heart, you can whisper quietly, inwardly to yourself the mantra, I love, and when you hear the sound of the singing bowl, you will know your meditation is complete.
(PAUSE TO REFLECT)
Bring your awareness back to your body. If you'd like, you can draw your hands to your heart center and take a moment to honor your heart. Namaste.
