Day 47 of a 49 features a Clarity Meditation. This 49 Day Meditation Series is based on the Art of Conscious Evolution Chakra deck by Kate Lemay. Today's theme is Clarity in the Third Eye, Sixth Chakra or Ajna. Kate's 49 paintings each honor a different chakra, 7 each for the 7 main energy centers. We will be moving from root to crown, and back down again, alternating for 7 weeks. I hope you enjoy the journey and are inspired by the paintings, themes and whimsy of the incredible artist, Kate Lemay.

Welcome to your Day 48 Meditation. Today's theme is Clarity. I'll be reading the description of Kate Lemay's painting and chakra card, Clarity.

This is an image of a glass of pulpy apple juice. The pulp has had time to settle. This painting references a great story about a monk, his niece and a glass of pulpy apple juice.

In life, you are often in the middle of situations that could use a little time to settle. Knowing when to get clarity and when to take action is a skill. When in doubt, get present in your body, feel your breath, and allow time to get clarity. The mantra for this painting and card is I see.

Find a position where you can maintain a nice long spine. If you can, close your eyes.

Begin to notice the breath. How is it moving in and out of the body?

Allow the breath time to settle. And if you'd like, you could breathe in to your third eye, center of the eyebrows, the color is indigo.

This is where the idea of clarity lives in the body, our inner vision, our insight, our intuition.

Sometimes when you visualize, it's hard to get clear.

So if there's something you are looking to get clarity around, trust that you know when to take action and when to take time to allow the settling. In the settling comes clarity.

As you meditate on clarity, you can whisper quietly, inwardly to yourself, the mantra I see.

And when you hear the sound of the singing bowl, you will know your meditation is complete.

(PAUSE TO REFLECT)

Begin to bring your awareness back to your body.

If you'd like, you could draw your hands to your heart center.

Namaste.
