True for You

Celebrating 49 Days of Meditations! And Now, What's Next?

Renee Cupples Season 2 Episode 60

Send us a text

This bonus episode recaps logitstically and energetically closing our 49 Day Meditation Series based on the Art of Conscious Evolution Chakra deck by Kate Lemay. Kate's 49 paintings each honor a different chakra, 7 each for the 7 main energy centers. We moved from root to crown, and back down again, alternating for 7 weeks. Kate's corresponding Enjoy the Journey Retreat Series has 3 more stops in 2025! The Present Retreat is in Maine in late September, Possibility is in Massachusetts in mid-October, and Clarity is in Maryland in early December. Reach out for more information!

Welcome to your Closing for Art of Sadhana. So whether or not you meditated or did yoga, or did anything for 49 days, this is an opportunity to stop and to celebrate any way that you showed up for yourself.  And I wanted to close out on a few items. So if you joined me in the Art of Sadana Facebook group and had a little bit more of a group or personalized experience, that group will remain open and you'll have access to that content and be able to complete it or not in any way that you would like.  The content is also on my YouTube channel, and it is also on the True For You podcast, available wherever you get your podcasts.

The piece that is not available on the podcast is the dance piece.  That was a new piece to this Sadhana. I have lead chakra dance workshops before and we weaved in a new piece. So one advantage of doing an online program is those extra bonuses.  So if you want to have the chakra dance experience, we danced our way through the chakras, those videos are in the Facebook group, if you were a member of Art of Sadhana. They're also on my YouTube.  So you have access to them there, and it's a great way to move energy and to play in addition to yoga and meditation. Dance can be a Sadhana.

So there are a few items that I wanted to cover. One was how to access the content still. If you participated in the program, there's also a survey going out to you. If it's something that you participated in the program but you weren't in the official Art of Sadhana group, please reach out to me and let me know.  Whether you did one meditation or all of them, I would love your feedback. It helps me develop and create other programs and improve them, so any and all feedback is great. I'll post the survey link in the group and I emailed it to the Art of Sadhana members as well.

The second piece is closing your Sadhana. Just like when you start a sadhana and you create an intention for kind of what you wanna show up for and why you're showing up for it, it's important to close that out and to reflect, because sometimes the intention that you started with changes or looking back on it, you might have a different feeling than when you created it. So just take a moment to honor and to celebrate and to energetically close out the container.  I have a form that I will post in the group about closing your Sadhana.  If you're not in the group and you want more information on how to close a Sadhana, I'm happy to share that with you.

The last piece is I am hosting a retreat in October. It is October 17th to the 19th in Mount Washington, Massachusetts at YMCA Camp Hi-Rock. It is part of the Enjoy the Journey retreat series founded by Kate Lemay.  Kate is an artist and we meditated on her art for 49 days, and she has retreats as well. This is the third year of the Enjoy the Journey retreat experience. They are all at YMCA camps. They're all based on Kate's art and it's yoga, meditation, workshops based around a theme. The theme for the retreat for October happens to be Possibility, so the last painting in Kate's series, number 49. It is the crown chakra, the color is purple,  and it is all about possibility.

Camp Hi-Rock is a beautiful location in the Berkshires at the lower left hand corner of Massachusetts. Basically, in New York, upstate New York, so anybody that's close to that area, join us for beautiful scenery, beautiful fall foliage.  It's right on a lake. All meals are provided at the dining hall and it's a beautiful lodge space as well.

At this particular camp, all of the workshops and the housing and everything takes place in one spot and then the dining hall is just a short walk away.  You get to be in nature and connect and recharge, and it's a beautiful opportunity to do that. So if you are available and would like to come or would like to be a presenter, please reach out to me.

If you aren't able to make it, but you know someone that might be interested, please share. I would greatly appreciate it  and all the information for it can be found at katelemay.com and you just click on retreats and the dates for the October retreat.

If you can't make the October retreat, I want to shout out Heather MacGuire, who is the co-host of the Maine Enjoy the Journey retreat at the end of September and her co-host is Sue Bergman.  So, in the retreats link on Kate's website, you can check out the information for the September retreat. The theme is Present, it's root chakra. It's in Winthrop, Maine. Again, a beautiful YMCA camp, and the early bird rate for that one is coming up quickly, it ends on September 12th.

There's also a retreat that Erin Neuhardt is hosting in Maryland in December, beginning of December. Another beautiful camp, the theme for that one is Clarity, a painting for the third eye. So just wanna shout them out as well.  Loretta Goodwin, Art of Sadhana graduate, will be the Keynote Speaker at the December Retreat!

So if you have any questions for me,  please let me know  and just sending you so much love always and celebrating you always, and I'll be in touch soon.

Take care.
