THE FREEDOM FORMULA

What if the thing you’re calling “discipline” is the very weight holding you down? We open the door to a different path—one built on freedom, self-trust, and identity—so you can stop starting over every Monday and start living like the woman you’re becoming. Instead of counting points and tracking harder, we unpack why control feels safe yet keeps you stuck, and how small, repeatable actions rebuild your inner safety so choices around food and movement feel simple, guilt-free, and sustainable.

We share how to replace pressure with connection, choosing meals that leave you satisfied and energized, and movement that serves strength and joy rather than punishment. You’ll hear why women across their 40s, 50s, and 60s often want more than a number on the scale—they want peace, confidence, and mornings that feel possible. We break down the identity shift that makes results a byproduct: reframing beliefs like “I can’t stick to it,” learning to trust hunger and fullness, and setting micro-habits that anchor a stable routine even on messy days. Along the way, we spotlight a 30-day challenge designed to rewire your mindset with one clear daily prompt—mindset shifts, tiny exercises, and habits that build consistency without chasing perfection.

If you’ve felt exhausted by the plan–fail–tighten–repeat loop, this conversation gives you the language, tools, and support to step out of it. Expect practical strategies, real talk about control and comfort, and a community-first approach with lifetime access, replays, and flexible pacing so you can start when you’re ready. Subscribe, share this with a friend who needs freedom more than rules, and leave a review to tell us the one belief you’re ready to rewrite.

👉 We don’t just help you lose weight - we help you keep it off for good. If you’re serious about breaking free from quick fixes, my team and I will transform your daily habits so your results last a lifetime.

SPEAKER_00:

If you've ever found yourself saying, I just need to be more disciplined, then this episode is for you. Because today I want to challenge that idea, the one that's been fed to women our whole lives, that discipline is the answer to everything. That if we could just stick to the plan or track harder or resist more or push through, we'd finally feel happy, we'd finally feel confident, we'd finally be free. But here's the actual truth: what you actually need is not more discipline. You actually need freedom. You actually want freedom. You want the freedom to live, you want the freedom to eat, you want the freedom to move and to think in a way that supports you, not controls you. And that's exactly what we're going to be talking about in today's episode. I want you to be really, really honest, right? Most women that I speak to have been training for discipline since they have been very, very young teens, I would say. We have learned how to count points, how to count calories. And this is all before we have actually learned how to trust our own hunger cues. We've learned how to follow rules, before we've learned how to listen to our bodies. And over time, that discipline has actually turned into pressure that we've put on ourselves. So what happens is you start again every Monday, you're full of hope, you're promising that this week will be different, even though you're going to go through exactly the same routines and patterns and cycles. And by Thursday, you're probably exhausted, overwhelmed, stressed, wondering why you can't stick to things and putting even more pressure on yourself. And so, guess what you do? You double down, you tighten the reins, and you tell yourself you're going to try harder. But deep down, you're not failing because you lack discipline, even though that's what you're telling yourself. You're failing because you're tired of being controlled by it and you don't want to be controlled by something. When everything in your life, from food to exercise to your emotions, which is really, really key, feels like something that you have to manage perfectly, it will actually stop feeling like you're living. Now, freedom isn't the absence of structure, it's actually the presence of self-trust. It's knowing how to eat in a way that feels good without second guessing yourself. It's moving your body because you want to, not because you're punishing it. It's saying yes to, let's say, a glass of fizz or a night off without guilt. So choosing foods that are maybe more indulgent. That's what I mean by a night off, because I don't believe when it comes to health, there is an on or an off. You just are. And knowing that making those decisions freely is not going to undo your progress. Freedom is actually waking up with energy instead of resentment for the day. And I've told you many times about how I used to wake up already feeling behind, like hating my alarm clock and just thinking, like, oh my god, this day is here and it's going to be so long and it's going to be so arduous. And then I felt resentful every single day. And now I wake up full of energy and I'm excited for my day. And I really want that for more of you. It's feeling proud of yourself again, not just because you hit a number on the scale, but because you kept a promise or promises to yourself. And I absolutely get it. When you've spent years dieting, controlling, micromanaging everything about your body, the idea of freedom can feel terrifying, but also completely out of reach and off limits. Because control feels much safer. But it's also the thing that is keeping you stuck. I used to think that freedom meant being good all week so that I could earn the weekend. It meant tracking every gram or following some ridiculous meal plan that was hideous, like half a blooming, I don't know, dried up chicken breast and a load of dry salad. I would earn every treat that I had. I would prove my worth through how perfect I was showing up every single day. But it actually never worked, and it certainly doesn't work long term because I was actually tracing control, not connection. The turning point for me came when I realized I didn't need another set of rules. I actually needed a new identity. But this didn't actually happen because I knew I didn't actually happen because I was aware that that's what I needed. It was just something that happened over time through some conscious decisions. And the beauty for you listening to this is if you are in that place and all of those places I've just described, I'm giving you the key right now, which is me telling you you don't need another set of rules, you don't need another app, you don't need another, you know, FITSPO off social media, you don't need any of those things. But what you do need is a new identity. And if I'd have been given that information years and years and years and years and years ago, I would have saved so much time because I needed to become the woman who no longer needed to start again every Monday, who no no longer needed to be perfect. And that's what changed everything. My energy, body, confidence, they all followed once I focused on freedom and identity first. Now, when I talk to women, they're in their 40s, 50s, 60s, they tell me the same thing. I don't just want to lose weight. That's a massive component of what they want. But it's not just about that. They want to feel like themselves again, but better. They want to feel alive. They want to wake up without hating their reflection, which they're currently avoiding. They want food to feel effortless and simple. They want to stop thinking about their body all day. They want to stop thinking about what they can and can't eat all day. They just want to feel at peace. They want to feel content. They want freedom that doesn't come from another restrictive plan or a rule book. And it comes from rewiring the way that you think and actually digging deep into what it is that you want and who you are. Because if your mind still believes that freedom will make you lose control, you'll always, always go back to restriction. And if your identity is still tied up to, you know, I'm the woman who can't stick to it, you will keep proving that to be true because it's easier because you know it. And when you know something, even if that thing that you know is painful and hard, if you know it, it feels comfortable. And so you will continue to gravitate towards the comfort. Freedom will start with changing the way you see yourself, and that's why I have created something completely new. I just had this thought the other day because there are so many amazing, amazing tools out there for kind of surface level transformation. You know, weight loss is one of those kind of surface level transformations. But the reason why, I mean, there are so many reasons why I could talk about this till the cows will come home, but the reason why a lot of women struggle to actually lose the weight that they want to and maintain it is because they are chasing the wrong thing. They're chasing the result, they're chasing the quick wins. Even if they tell themselves I want this to be a lifestyle change, they are still chasing the wrong thing. And what you actually need is you need to rewire your brain, you need to reset, you need to reset your body and remember who the flipping hell you are. So every single day, what I'm gonna be doing over this challenge is I am going to be giving you one clear action that's gonna be a prompt, it's gonna be a mindset shift, it's going to be a little exercise, a habit, or something to rebuild your self-trust and your consistency. And I'm gonna be coaching you through it step by step so you can stop living on rules and start living on results because they are just gonna come as a byproduct, honestly. And this is the work that most people will never do. And I don't want this to be another thing that you do and then you go back to like square one again, feeling crap about yourself. I want you to really understand yourself, what makes you tick, why you do the things that you do, and so that's gonna enable you to implement the things that I teach you and actually love it because you're doing it from a place of self-trust, and it's what you want internally. This is not about doing things because I do them, because I'm a different person to you. What I need is different to what you need, but it's really important that you start to understand yourself in the process of becoming, and that's exactly why I thought this 30-day challenge is going to be immense for you. So this is not going to be me telling you what to eat, by the way. This is not going to be one of those things. I don't believe in that. Like, I don't believe in somebody dictating what you should and shouldn't do. I believe in education, I believe in self-trust, I believe in doing things because they align with you and your values and your morals and your goals. It is going to be a reset for your relationship with yourself. So inside, you're going to learn how to create confidence that lasts longer than motivation. You're going to learn how to make decisions without guilt. That includes how you eat, how you move. You're actually going to be moving your body for strength and for energy and for enjoyment and not because you feel you need to burn calories or you need to punish yourself or you need to do it because you want to earn your food. And I want you to feel proud and empowered and in control every single flipping day. And the best part, you are going to get to do this alongside other people who are in the same position as you. And there is nothing more powerful than sharing in a journey. And you might think to yourself, oh, well, no, that makes me feel uncomfortable. I'm a private person. Trust me, I would have agreed with you a long, long time ago. I don't want people to know that I'm struggling. I don't want people to know that I'm feeling vulnerable. I don't want people to know that I haven't got my shit together. Biggest mistake I ever made. And that's the comfort zone that you are currently sitting in. So having other people, hearing their stories, hearing what they're going through is going to give you so much more clarity that you're not alone. It's going to empower you to be better. It's going to enable you to show up for yourself every single day. And you're going to be doing it alongside people who are also done starting over every time. The ones that feel ready to be free again. And if you are a client at Feed My Health, I want you to know that you get access to this challenge as well. So I'm going to pop the link in the show notes below this episode so you can get stuck in. Actually, what I'm going to do for clients is I'm going to if you message me on the Feed My Health app that you want to get involved in the challenge, let me know and I will send you the direct link to get stuck into the the group. But for everybody else, obviously, if you're not appliant, then the link will be in the show notes below. So make sure you get involved. You the investment for this challenge will be going up on the launch day and will stay at that new price from the launch day. If you decide to join the challenge after the challenge has actually commenced, that's absolutely fine. It's not a problem. You won't miss anything. All the trainings are going to be in there, all the prompts are going to be in there. You can follow it along just like everybody else in your own time. All the call replays will be in there. So you're not going to miss a single thing. So, yes, as I say, the link will be in the show notes. You can also head to my Instagram and you can tap the link in the bio. It will be in there as well. And I will keep it in there as long as you know, well, actually forever, because you're going to have lifetime access to this. So you're always going to be able to come back to it and revisit it wherever you need to. We are actually going to start the challenge on October. What day did I say? I want to say the 15th. Is that right? Yes, a Wednesday. So that's going to be when the first prompt is going to drop. But as I say, you will have lifetime access. So you can go back to it. You can start it whenever you would like. And it's going to be amazing. I'm so excited about it. And yeah, I hope to see you inside. Imagine where you could be if you really committed to this for 30 days. I mean, 30 days of your life is a very small percentage of your life. And the time's going to pass anyway. So why on earth would you not spend a little bit of time every single day working on yourself and doing the work that most people don't do? You're going to be lighter, you're going to be stronger, you're going to be calmer, you're going to feel free. It's going to be amazing. So that's the life waiting for you guys. What are you waiting for? I have no idea. So I will see you inside, and I hope you've enjoyed this episode.
