This Isn’t Therapy - But It Might Just Change Your Life

If you’re tired of waiting for motivation and ready to start acting like the woman you know you can be, this episode is for you.

Inside Feed My Health, we do things differently. This isn’t therapy, and it’s definitely not another crash diet or calorie-counting plan. We’re here to move you forward, to help you reconnect with who you are, rebuild trust with yourself, and create a life that actually feels good.

We talk about identity, mindset, and the practical tools that turn trying into doing, without sacrificing your social life, your freedom, or your joy.

You’ll hear why most women aren’t stuck because they’re lazy,  they’re stuck because they’ve been following the wrong blueprint. We unpack how your thoughts shape your actions, how self-leadership replaces rigid rules, and why feeling uncomfortable is often the doorway to real change.

You’ll learn what accountability looks like when it’s done right,  caring, honest, and clear,  and how small, repeatable actions are what truly build confidence and self-trust.

And together, we’ll paint the picture of your future self the woman who likes her photos, accepts compliments, wears clothes that fit her life, and shows up with energy for the people she loves.

She’s not a fantasy. She’s waiting for you to stop sitting on the sidelines and start leading yourself again.

If this episode lands with you, hit follow, share it with a friend who needs the nudge, and leave a quick review so more women can find this message.

SPEAKER_00:

Hello, my loves. Welcome back to the Feed My Health podcast. Obviously, you know who I am from my little intro. Today's episode is one I've wanted to do for a while because it's going to help so many of you. Whether you're already one of our clients or you've been sitting on the fence thinking that maybe one day you might do it, we're going to talk about what you really need to know before joining Feed My Health. And I'm going to tell you the truth. I am not going to give you the sugar-coated version. Because Feed My Health is not therapy. It's not hand holding. And it's definitely not another quick fix or crash diet. What it is, is a life-changing experience that will completely reshape the way you think about food, your body, and who you are as a woman. So let's get into this. I want to start with this because it's so important. Feed My Health is not therapy. And one of the reasons why I wanted to air this is because there are definitely two kinds of camps when it comes to coaching. I feel like with coaching, there are people in the world who have had many coaches and they understand what it is. And then there are people that just have never had coaching before. They've tried lots of things in the past. They've done the Weight Watches, the Keto diet, all of the rest. But coaching isn't something that they are familiar with. So this episode really is for that person because I've myself worked with many coaches and I know many coaches and I know their styles do differ. There are lots of people who are very focused on just food and just movement. There are coaches that are just focused on movement, you know, at their strength training. And for me, I am very, very aware that it's not just about that. And actually, they are huge pillars in your progress, but they're not the key pillar. And it's so important that we address that. But it's not therapy. And that's the that's the thing. When we think about mindset and we think about identity, a lot of people, again, they're such broad terms that are kind of banded about that if you aren't familiar or you're not in that world of self-development or personal development, it's hard to really understand what it means when somebody says mindset or identity work. And you might immediately go into thinking, oh, this is going to be like quite uncomfortable. We're going to, it's kind of going to be like a therapy session. And I understand that as well. And I want to address all of those things. So the reason why what we do works so well is because we're really not here to sit in the past. And I think with therapy, you do go over and you rehash things that have happened in the past. And that can be helpful in some ways to kind of understand who you are. But what's really important is we we acknowledge who we are in our experiences, but we move you forward and we move you out of the experiences that you don't enjoy or are holding you back. We at Feed My Health are here to move you forward. We want to move you forward with control, with power, but also with practicality and most importantly, sustainability. Our job as coaches is not to spoon feed you or to fix you. It's actually to show you what's possible and then help you believe that you can do it too. And that can happen very quickly for some women, it can happen immediately. For others, it can be six, seven, eight months down the line. And this all depends on so many things I'm going to talk about in a second. If you're thinking, well, Roz, I've done every diet under the sun, that's exactly why you need this approach. Because this is not another set of rigid rules that you're going to need to follow. It's actually about learning how to lead yourself. And that can be hard for some clients because they come into it thinking that we're going to do everything for you. And we give you all the tools and the strategies and everything, and we do that for sure. But the power really comes from you understanding the things and then leading yourself forwards. Because in 10, 15, 20 years' time, you aren't going to necessarily want somebody to be holding your hand. You're going to want to know how to do it for yourself. Simple, a very simplistic way of explaining what I mean by this. If we just take the food for a moment, just to kind of really, really simplify this, there would have been a time for me where, in order to know what to eat, to lose weight or to whatever I was working on, I would have been Googling stuff. I would have been, you know, talking to my friends about what they're doing, you know, all of that sort of thing. I wouldn't have that self-trust to know how to behave or how to put a meal together without overanalysing it and researching it. But now I can put like literally, I can open my fridge and I can put a meal together in seconds that's balanced, that's healthy. I understand how much protein's going to be in it. I understand how much of the quantities of everything I need based on my goal that I'm working towards, that that week, that month, whatever. You know, I know, I understand, and that's powerful. That's and that's everything that you need as well. So learning how to lead yourself is absolutely critical. Inside Feed My Health, we give you the frameworks, we give you the tools, the support, and the mindset shifts, but you have to meet us halfway. You have to be open to trying new things and to be being coached and to being able being allowed actually to be pushed outside of your comfort zone, open to seeing things differently and open to doing the work, even when you don't feel like it, even when you've had a big busy day at work, for example, or whatever, you have to that's really what's going to set you apart from everybody that's struggling. And that is really where the change happens for you. So let's talk about the part that surprises people the most. Because coaching isn't always comfortable either. You know, a lot of us sign up for things because it's going to make our lives easier. You know, we're going to get results faster, we're going to, you know, think we're going to be able to achieve things, and that's absolutely, absolutely key. But if you've been struggling for years and years and years to continue to do things or progress forwards, or you know that you're maybe, you know, not always doing the things, it's because you're choosing comfort over discomfort. And so we need to get you to a position where you understand that when somebody is going to really, really help you and really, really help you make a change, it's not always going to feel comfortable. And that's per that's perfect. That's that's exactly what needs to happen. There are times that you will feel challenged. There's going to be times when we will lovingly call you out on things because we want you to succeed. And sometimes that can feel really triggering because deep down you already know that what we're saying is a little bit true. And here's the thing that that's the exact moment where your growth and your change will happen. If you've spent years being the woman who doubts herself, who talks herself out of doing what she knows she needs to do, who says, you know, oh, you know, it's been a long week. I deserve this, it's just one glass, any of those things. Do you know what? Sod it. I'll start fresh Monday. New rules, new set of restrictions. Then I totally and utterly get that. Okay. I totally and utterly get that. But if you are in that position, of course it's going to feel uncomfortable when somebody holds you accountable. And I always joke with my team, actually, sometimes, you know, people always want accountability until they've got it. And that's why it's so powerful because accountability is exactly that, it's it's accountability. And that's why you've got where you want to be. That's why, sorry, that's why you've not got where you want to be yet. Because you've been doing it all on your own, and then you've been sort of keeping yourself safe, patting yourself on the back when you've had a challenging time and giving yourself reasons why you don't need to do the hard thing. You've never had someone say to you, you know, come on, you can do this, you've got this, and actually mean it. You've never had someone stand with you through the messy times of your life and believe in you more than you believe in yourself. And that's what we do at Feed My Health. We see the woman that you are capable of becoming, and we hold you to that standard, even when you don't feel ready. And I just want to put this out there right now. You will never feel ready. Ever, ever, ever. Ever. Think about difficult conversations that you've had to have. Tell me when the best time is to have that. There isn't a best time. There will always be a reason to not do the thing. So please don't wait to feel ready to do anything. Just act. And that is where the freedom of everything that you want in your life will come from. Honestly. The difficult conversations, the difficult moves, the difficult uh decisions, the difficult, you know, choices that we make on the other side of that difficult thing is a great thing. And that great thing is your freedom. And I want you to be honest for a second. If you are listening to this and you feel stuck in your body, if you are, you know, dreading looking at photographs of yourself, if you keep promising to start again on Monday, if you don't even recognize the woman looking back at you anymore, it's not because you are lazy. It is not because you are a weak person. It's because you've been following the wrong blueprints for so long. Diets that teach you how to restrict, fitness plans that teach you to push harder and sweat more and make sure your body aches at the end of it. But nobody teaches you how to think differently. And that is the missing piece. And at FEMA Health, we will teach you how to think like a woman who's completely free, how to eat in a way that feels good for you, that's not punishing, that's not cutting stuff out, that's not avoiding socializing. We'll teach you how to move your body because you want to, not because you hate what you see and you're trying to burn calories all the time. And how to stop negotiating with yourself every time things feel uncomfortable. And once you learn that, everything will change. You need to stop, you need can't speak. There's a cat distracting me. You stop needing motivation, you start building momentum, and you'll finally stop being the woman who tries and start being the woman who just does. And oh my god, sound like Janice from Friends. But that isn't that when you when that switch flips, it's it's unreal. Like I don't even think about convincing myself to go for a walk every day. It's just something that I do, it's who I am, it's what I crave, what it's what makes me feel better, it's part of my life, it's part of my routine. It is a non-negotiable, it is it is as non-negotiable and as as habitual as waking up in the morning and going to the loo and brushing my teeth. Like, but it didn't used to be like that. It used to be like everything that I did for my health was an effort, it was a struggle, it was a oh, I don't want to, oh, I'm gonna do it this week, I'm gonna go five million times to the gym, and then you just don't do it once, and you think, what's the point in going at all? Like now I'm just that person who does. And if I don't manage to do something, I don't give myself a hard time because the majority of the time I am upholding my core values and beliefs. And go figure, when I was not upholding my core values and beliefs, I was struggling, and that's a huge disconnect. So I want to let's so I want to talk, sorry, about what it actually takes because doing the work doesn't mean being perfect, and this is another massive issue that women have. It actually means showing up even on the days when you don't feel like it. So watching trainings that we give you and applying what you learn, checking in with your coach, owning your actions, that's it. We're not asking for perfection. All we ask is that you do your part, that we are honest with each other, that we communicate openly and you put in effort. Because when you bring that to the table, we, and I say we, as in my team, myself, the other clients, we will change your life. And I've seen it happen thousands of times. Women who came in thinking that they were hopeless or it's too late for them, or you know, they're some kind of special case, and now they are living in bodies they love, eating food they enjoy, going out for gin and tonics, feeling free, feeling like themselves again. And it's not just because of me, and it's not just because of my team, it's because they chose to stop waiting to feel ready and they started showing up anyway when they didn't feel like it. So I want you to imagine this for a moment. You wake up in the morning and you actually want to look after yourself. You feel good in your clothes, you're buying clothes in shops that you weren't able to buy clothes from in the past. You walk past a mirror and check yourself out. And instead of picking yourself apart, you're absolutely beaming and you're saying nice things to yourself in your head, like, oh, my legs look great, or you know, this out looks really good on me. Imagine that. You go out with your friends and they compliment you and you feel great and you accept that compliment. You don't dread the photos. You are the one that actually shares the photos and maybe posts them to your social media. Your kids watch what you're doing, your partner notices the difference in your energy and your vibrancy. People start asking you what's changed and what are you doing? And it's not just your body, it will be your energy, it will be how you show up for everybody. You've become the woman you always knew you could be. And that's what this work is really about. Feed My Health isn't just about weight loss, that will be the byproduct. It's really about identity, it's about remembering who the hell you are underneath all the crap that has gone before and rebuilding the trust you lost with yourself somewhere along the way. So if you're listening to this right now and you're thinking, Roz, I really do need something like this. I'm tired of feeling like this. This is your sign. You do not have to spend another month, another week, another year hating your body, avoiding photos and waiting for motivation to find you. Please don't be one of those people that is now gonna sack off the rest of the year and wait till January because you know that you've done that every single year and nothing changed. And that is the sincerest form of stupidity. Okay, we've tried that, we've done that, let's not bother. You can decide today to change your story. You have so much power that you're giving away by thinking that you can't change anything, and you will learn how to eat real food, you'll learn how to build habits that last, you will learn how to become a woman who feels proud of herself inside and out. And we will be with you every step of the way. All you have to do is take that first step. Now you'll find all the links that you need in the show notes below. If you would like to join Feed My Health and get really stuck in, all you need to do is click that link below. It's absolutely free. You do not need to like pay for a call with me or anything like that, and we will talk about your personal situation and find out what it is that you need and if it is a fit, because if it isn't a fit for us or for you, I will be very, very transparent about that. Because if it is not a fit for you, that's us doing you a disservice. So please just rest assured that not everybody is it right for, but when you come in and it is right for you, it will it will change your life. And whatever you do, just do something, just start something. Because the only thing between you and the life you want is the story you keep telling yourself about why you can't have it. So thank you so much for listening to this episode today. And if this episode hit home, please share it with a friend, please leave a review, drop me a message on Instagram if you've got any questions at all about anything. And remember this, right? You deserve to feel good in your body. You deserve to live a life that feels free, that feels enjoyable, and we're here to help you get there.
