From combat trauma to country music stardom: an extraordinary journey of resilience, healing and purpose.

Rising country music artist Scotty Hasting shares his powerful transformation from a wounded Army veteran to an emerging voice in Nashville. After surviving ten gunshot wounds in Afghanistan at age 22, Scotty found healing through music during the isolation of COVID-19, teaching himself guitar as a way to cope with PTSD.

Now signed with Black River Entertainment, Scotty's debut single "How Do You Choose" tackles survivor's guilt head-on, while his collaboration with Lee Brice and Dolly Parton on "Til The Last Shots Fired" showcases his raw authenticity. He discusses how performing provides escape from PTSD symptoms and allows him to live in the moment. Despite never dreaming of a music career, Scotty's mission has become clear: using his platform and story to help others find their own path to healing.
