Dr. Elena Alawa
Dr. Elena Alawa is an Osteopathic Board-certified internist and Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy & Functional Medicine certified practitioner. She received Bachelors in Biological Sciences Honors at Wayne State University in Detroit, and was awarded D.O. degree (doctor of osteopathy) from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in East Lansing. She completed internal medicine residency at the Greater McLaren of Lansing Hospital and further trained in pulmonary medicine. With a career spanning over 15 years, her journey was catalyzed by her own challenging experience navigating perimenopause. This personal quest ignited her passion to explore the functional and integrative dimensions of medical care, ultimately leading to the inception of True Health Solutions Clinic.
