NO NOT TODAY
Life can be hard, but I believe the most valuable lessons we can learn, often surface in the midst of those "No Not Today" moments in our lives. On this podcast, we will be highlighting stories from "every-day-kind-of-folk" facing their own "No Not Today" challenge and reflecting on what they have learned along the way. The hope is that you walk away feeling inspired, encouraged, and equipped to step into your present life, no matter what reality you are facing. So come on this journey with me, listening, learning and living out our stories...together.
NO NOT TODAY
014 | Light It Up BLUE
In this episode, you get to hear from Levi Weston, our oldest child, who happens to be autistic. He shares his perspective through living a life on the spectrum and the challenges he faces. He shares the crucial take-aways and some insight for supporting people like him. In the autism community we always say, "when you have met one person on the spectrum, you have met ONE person on spectrum." So often as parents we speak for our kids, this was such a neat experience to sit down with my son and hear directly from him this time. ENJOY!
You may not know this but April is *Autism Awareness Month* and more specifically April 2nd is "LIGHT IT UP BLUE". A Global movement where businesses, industries, governments and every day people choose to switch out their normal lights for BLUE lights and/or wear the color blue in support of someone with autism. I hope hearing from Levi encourages you to LIGHT IT UP BLUE and post your photo using #lightitupblue2025 on social media, in support. Take time to be encouraged and scroll through to see how others, just like you, around the world are choosing to stand along side people with autism and lets break the stigma in being neurodivergent.
