Most of the business owners I work with did not start businesses to work 60-hour weeks. They started their businesses to do something they’re fantastic at, make a positive difference, and have space for caring for others, flexibility, and a life they enjoy.

Still, it can be tough to set those boundaries. When we’re connected 24/7 it can feel difficult to stay offline; especially because that’s where our clients are.

Ari Pirutinski deliberately began his business, Steady Growth Partners in order to do what he loves and to set hard boundaries so he has time for the other-than-work activities he cherishes.

And it has not hurt his success. In fact, he believes setting clear work-life boundaries has contributed to the success of his business.
