Okay, what the heck is the round table? I'll be honest, I almost talked myself out of recording this because I'm like, no, you're gonna be too passionate. You're gonna scare people away. But fuck, man, I'm so tired of these invisible business rules.
In this conversation, I'm breaking down the four pillars of the round table. I talk about why I'm creating the room I've always wanted to be in instead of trying to find it, how you can give HBA to your clients as part of your offer at no extra cost, and why supporting the human behind the business matters more than any system or strategy.
I share the story of spending more than half of my coaching career kind of hating the gig, dreading client conversations and Instagram and fucking everything because I wasn't supported, and what changed when I finally figured out the right combination.
If you've done a lot of programs and all it's ever been is more information that you feel disconnected from.
If you're burning yourself out just to keep things where they're at.
If you don't give a fuck what systems or strategies you think you need in 2026 because deep down you know that if you, the business owner, are not being supported, your strategy will fall flat within the first couple months like it has year after year.
I'm creating the room I wanted to find all of these years. And I really, really hope you join it.
Dm me on IG (Kate.liz.h) for details.
Okay, what the heck is the round table? I'll be honest, I almost talked myself out of recording this because I'm like, no, you're gonna be too passionate. You're gonna scare people away. But then I was like, fuck, man. I'm so tired of doing these things that these like invisible business rules put on us to do. And as I have been spending the last couple months like thinking about what I want the round table to be, the thing that I kept coming to was um create the room that you want to be in. Because I feel like we hear all the time like get in the room, get in the room, get in the room with like the other people or whatever. And then you get in the room and it's like not, it's not what you needed it to be, or that room makes you feel fucking worse, or that room makes you feel just under-supported or or not important or less than, right? And so what's really important to me as I do this is that one, it's a round table. We're all at the same level. We're in a circle, we're looking at each other, like on Zoom, but you know what I mean. Um, and it's it's the room that I've always looked for and I've always wanted to be in. A room that was built on safety, number one. Safety is very, very important to me in this. Feeling safe to express yourself, feeling safe to ask questions, feeling safe to be vulnerable, feeling safe to just be a human, not just a business owner. So a round table that's built on safety, round table that's built on value, not just do this, do that, but actual value. Where are you struggling? What do you need help with? And no, I'm not talking about the systems and the strategy. Anyone can figure that out, especially in the age of AI and ChatGPT, like you can figure out the systems and the strategy. But if you, the human behind those systems and strategy, is struggling, where is that value, right? And that's one of the things that I have come to love so, so much in the last honestly, year and a half that I've been working with online business owners in a one-on-one capacity is that holy shit, I love, I love supporting the women behind these businesses because as a woman-owned business myself, I know how heavy it is to care so deeply about the work that you do and feel so passionate. Like you have something to give, but don't really know how you're gonna sustain giving it because either the system, the structure, the room, the whatever, the online, the visibility, the comparison, all of that is just beating you down and down and down. And so, value in the sense that, like, I want you, the human, to be supported, and that is my mission. Where are you struggling? Where do you feel like things are heavy you? What is your life taking from you? What is your life providing for you that allow you to step into this role of giving your passions and giving your work and giving your value to the world? So value in the sense that you will be supported, but also because I am somebody that cares deeply about my work, value in the sense that you can give HBA, Healthy Pictures Anonymous, to your clients. You can make that part of your offer and it won't cost you anything extra. And I just want to put this into perspective for you. Think about it for a second. The clients that are working with you, they hire you because what you have to offer them is good. But do you have a lot of clients stay with you long term? Do you have a lot of clients that maybe leave and you really wish that like there could have been something to keep them there? Or do you find that the work that you're doing for clients is great work, but it's not landing for them because there's other areas of their life that they're struggling with and they are under-supported there. Almost all of us, if you're listening to this, we work with women. And one thing I know to be true about women and especially mothers, we are under-supported. That's partly because support doesn't exist, but it's also because we're too afraid to say, hey, I need help and I'm willing to give myself help and I'm willing to spend money on this help. Women don't do that. We just don't do that. We like to suffer for it, we like to see how beat down we can be. And so one of the big core pillars of the round table is for me to provide value to not just you, the business owner, the human behind the business, but also to your clients by giving you the rights to give them HBA. It gets set up automatically, it gets sent to their phone. They're not communicating with me, they are just getting HBA sent to their phone alongside the work that they are doing with you. That is a huge value add. And honestly, one of the big, big drivers, if not the biggest driver, of me deciding to create the roundtable was I wanted to know how I could give HBA to more people without asking those women to pay for it. Sometimes people can't afford coaching and HBA. Sometimes people can't afford therapy and HBA. So how can I make this happen for everyone else? And this felt like the most logical thing to do. The third thing that really drove the round table is community. As an online business owner, it's really isolating sometimes. And oftentimes that isolation leads to a lot of the struggles that we have, whether it be we don't feel like showing up or we're second-guessing ourselves, or we feel like imposter syndrome is super, super loud one day. And I know for me, community is really, really important, but it has to be community that feels equal and it has to be community that feels safe. And I feel like in the online space, at least for me, that is what has been lacking. Again, I haven't been able to find the room that I've wanted to be in, which is why I'm creating it myself. And I'm hoping that some of you guys will come create this with me. The other part of the round table that I feel like is the fourth and important pillar is accountability. It's one thing to be in spaces and to be told what to do, but how often do we actually implement these things? Or does it just get added to the vault of information that we have that we cannot get ourselves to follow through on or actually implement? There's deep, deep implications to this. Again, the biggest one being the things that you're fucking good at, the people and the clients in your world are not experiencing because you are not supported enough to give them to people. And it's not a defect of who you are, it's simply like a king in the chain of support that we need as business owners. It just doesn't exist. So accountability is the fourth and final pillar of the round table. So there's safety, there's value, there's community, and there's accountability. Those are the four main pillars of the round table. And they are the four pillars that I take very, very, very seriously. Now, I want to leave you with a story because if I asked myself, what do I really want people that are considering this to know? What, like, what do I want them to hear? Like, I'll, you know, you're gonna see the breakdown of you know the return on investment. You're gonna see all the tangibles, you're gonna get all that fucking shit, right? Because that's just what you do. Like, that's my responsibility as a business owner to get that in front of you. So hopefully you see the value and you come in and you do this, right? But if I asked myself, okay, take the fucking sales out of it, woman to woman, human to human, maybe even mother to mother, what do you what do you want to tell them? Like, why, why is this so important to you? Why are you doing this? Why are you doing this? And to answer that question, this is genuinely from the bottom of my heart what I want you to know. I started as a coach technically in 2013, and then was in corporate, then left corporate, and I've been fully coaching full-time for five years. I have spent more than half of that time kind of hating the gig, loving what I do, loving the way that I coach, but hating the gig underneath the coaching. And honestly wondering how much longer I'd be able to sustain it. A lot of my days, I would wake up and I would dread certain parts of the day. I would dread client conversations, I would dread check-ins, I would dread Instagram, I would dread fucking everything. And it's because I wasn't supported, and it's because so many other things. But I want you guys to understand that even if you think I'm bullshitting you when I say this, this is the most honest feedback and like honest perspective I can give you of what doing this type of work. And when I say this type of work, what I mean is the type of conversations that I will bring to the round table of how to support the human behind the business. Okay, you gotta come in to figure that out. But the honest to God perspective that I would want you to know about what changes for you as a human and as a woman, as a mother, as a business owner, and maybe some of you guys are aspiring to be moms, and you're like, I don't know how the hell I'm gonna do this when that time comes. I never in a million years thought I would get to a point where it would be Sunday night and I'd be so excited to go to sleep because I knew that when I woke up, I got to open up my laptop again and get into work that lights me up and also feel supported energetically, emotionally, all of those things. I never would have thought that that was possible. And in fact, I looked for that in so many people, in so many places, in so many systems, in so many programs. And I know that I probably am just another program on your feed in your head. But like genuinely, I want you to know that if you've done a lot of things and all it's ever been is more information that you feel disconnected from, or more information that maybe you implement, and it goes well for a little bit, but from a long-term standpoint, you just don't know how you're gonna keep doing it. Like you're burning yourself out to even keep it where it's at. I want you to know that it is possible to get to a place where you not only love what you do, but you love the way that you do it. I like again, never in a million years did I ever think that I would get to the point where suddenly my thoughts went from, okay, I'm gonna see if I can survive another year, okay, I'm gonna see if I can survive another month, let me just focus on this week, let me just focus on month end, to I'm so excited for this, and I don't, I don't, I don't see how this ever ends. I don't see myself ever getting tired of this. I don't ever see myself feeling as burnout as I did before. And to be honest, the only thing that changed that for me was a lot of the work that I've done behind the scenes that not many of you know about. A lot of the neurowork that I've done, a lot of the nervous system work that I've done, a lot of the burning down all of the systems and structure that everybody that is a fucking guru told me to do, and building enough self-trust but connection with my intuition to actually know what is good for me. And believe it or not, the minute I figured those things out, which took having the right value, feeling safe, feeling fucking safe to explore that, having the right people in my community, and having the right level of accountability. The minute those four things were tackled. I know that this is gonna feel like I'm selling to you by saying this, but it is the honest to God truth. My work felt lighter, I felt more passionate than ever before. I get so happy and excited some days during the week that I fucking cry. And on paper, my business is doing better than it has ever done in the eight years that I have been an entrepreneur, and I don't feel like I had to cut off both of my arms or tank my mental health or sacrifice or just kill myself to get there. I never would have believed that. And in fact, it's really hard to believe that until you're just experiencing it. So that is honest to God, what I would want you guys to know as you consider this. Again, you're gonna see the breakdowns of the ROI. You're gonna see why, like financially, it makes tons of sense to fucking do this. I didn't price it to be outrageous. It's a short-term commitment. That way, if it's not for you, you're not stuck in something that you're just having to pay for, but you don't actually feel aligned with. It's a short-term commitment, it's a very affordable cost. It's the cost of one client paying you for a month. That's it. And you can turn around and give your clients HBA, which is a$600 program on its own. Plus get the support and the community that you need. It's worth it. I invite you to do this with us. If you don't, that's okay. It's not gonna mean anything about me and it's and it's not gonna make me question the value of this. But I trust that the people that feel called to do business different and to do business by supporting the human behind the business first. I don't give a fuck what systems or strategies you think you need to do in 2026 if you are not being supported. You, not your health, not your weight loss, not in therapy. If you, the business owner, the business owner that is online with major visibility, major rejection, abandonment left and right, if you are not being supported, your strategy will fall flat within the first couple months of the year, like it has year after year after year. I was there too. So I invite you to consider this. If you want all of the details, just let me know. I'll give it to you. Um but I really, really hope that you trust. If there's a tiny little voice, probably your intuition, that's curious, that's like, you know what? I kind of, you know, I want to do this. This feels good. I ask that you trust yourself and trust that it will be worth your while, and you know that you will be supported. I'm creating the room that I wanted to find all of these years, and I hope that you join it.
