In this special Easter episode, we read the account of Jesus’ betrayal, crucifixion, and resurrection from John, chapters 18–20.  Let's take time to reflect on the truth of what Jesus Christ has done and what it means for your life.

The episode closes with a moving rendition of “Were You There," an old hymn sung by a talented young lady, Kaylah T.  (at minute 20:43).

This song is a traditional African American spiritual that originated among enslaved people in the United States. These songs were born out of suffering, yet expressed deep faith in God and a longing for Him, using music to tell the story of Christ and the hope only He can give.
