Is self-control really just about willpower — or is there something deeper?

In this final episode of our Fruit of the Spirit series, we dive into egkrateia, the Greek word behind "self-control" in Galatians 5:23, and discover why biblical self-control is so much more than gritting your teeth and trying harder.

We explore the difference between self-produced and Spirit-produced self-control, why the world's approach to discipline leaves us exhausted and ashamed, and how the Holy Spirit offers a better way — one rooted in identity, grace, and genuine transformation. We'll also look at key passages from Galatians, Proverbs, 2 Peter, and 1 Corinthians, and examine how growing in self-control impacts your mental health, your relationships, and your spiritual life.
