Sari Stone Season 1 Episode 24

Send us a text

You don't need permission to be free. The door was never locked. This is about spiritual freedom. Energetic freedom.

We're exploring how to liberate ourselves from invisible conditioning that keeps us stuck in cycles of approval-seeking, overworking, self-doubt, and playing small. This episode discusses living in alignment with fifth-dimensional consciousness, where freedom isn't just a concept but a vibration.

• Freedom involves recognizing and releasing old beliefs around money, time, and fear-based obligation
• The "veil" represents conditioning and programming that can be rewritten
• True freedom means releasing the belief that time is scarce and that our worth depends on productivity
• Fifth-dimensional living prioritizes trust over fear, intuition over obligation, and flow over force
• When we free ourselves, we unconsciously give others permission to do the same
• Spiritual maturity means freeing yourself without forcing others to change
• Freedom reverses the "have-then-be" philosophy to "be-then-have"
• Journal prompts offered include examining what old beliefs influence your decisions
• Meditation practice helps access the feeling of freedom in your body

Speaker 1:

Hey, welcome back to Transform your Life. Just Count Me In a podcast where miracles meet mindset and our personal transformation is not only possible, it's our birthright. So this episode is in celebration of the 4th of July and happened to time really well. With this new moon cycle, I am doing this episode about freedom. This is freedom to choose. We're stepping into the freedom to choose not just in the outer world, but from deep within ourselves. What we're talking about in essence here is lifting the veil. In essence, here is lifting the veil, the invisible conditioning that keeps us stuck in cycles of approval, seeking overworking self-doubt or playing small.

Speaker 1:

In this past week, I have come across this in almost every one of my students when it comes to obstacles that we're clearing and behaviors that we are unhooking ourselves from, to free ourselves from, and they all had some work to do in this area, and it's an ongoing project for me too. So we're going to explore how to live in alignment with the fifth dimension, where freedom is not really a concept, it's more of a vibration. We're going to explore how to live in alignment with the fifth dimension, where freedom is not really a concept, it's more of a vibration. We're going to unpack how old beliefs around money and time and needing permission and fear-based obligation can be gently released. These are all the things that we've been working on this week. We've been working on this week and maybe most importantly, we're going to talk about the fact that when we liberate ourselves, we unconsciously give others permission to do the same. This is freedom as a spiritual revolution, and it starts inside. Lifting the veil starts inside. Lifting the veil, as I call it, is what are we really freeing ourselves from? Let's get on this.

Speaker 1:

So many of us are still waiting for someone to say you're allowed to rest, you are allowed to change your mind, you are allowed to stop living for everyone else, you are allowed to decide to do nothing sometimes, because nothing isn't nothing, nothing is still something, and that someone is not going to be a knight in shining armor, that someone has to be us. It was recently recommended to me that I watch the new Snow White movie, and I plan on doing that, because in this one, she makes the move from princess to queen, and I think this is the same concept. So lifting the veil means seeing clearly that the old beliefs and the old energy patterns that have kept us stuck in more of the 3D living, which is rules that are based on survival, scarcity and fear, and here are some common veils that we carry. There's a belief that time is scarce and we're always behind, and we've talked about it in this podcast. It's impossible to be behind in your own life because it's it's your life. It's not someone else's life, not someone else's time stamp on it. We also have a fear that we're not worthy unless we're productive, and this goes right down to my little third grader today. We're not worthy unless we're producing, and not only that, but we're not worthy unless we're producing our very best. The illusion that we need permission to change direction or say no.

Speaker 1:

I have some seniors this year that I'm coaching. They graduated and some people it's about travel this summer, just traveling, just being free to travel and find themselves that way, without the obligation of high school or a job. For one of them, it's working. She's working at her first full-time job and just saving a lot of money because she wants to have a little bit more freedom when she's in college for spending money. For someone else, it's more of honoring the metamorphosis that's going on inside of her and stepping back from social obligations, stepping back from that whole senior summer quote unquote that everybody seems to be living and expecting her to be doing and just focusing on herself it's her first single summer in years and focusing on her family. And they're all teaching me that there are so many different ways that we impose expectations on children and so many different ways that we impose expectations on children and so many different ways that we've imposed we've had them imposed on us that have hugely influenced our choices, and we're ready to just lift that veil. We're ready to just look at what it is that we really want and realize that none of this is absolute truth. It's programming. Programming can be rewritten.

Speaker 1:

We're also talking a little bit about fifth dimensional living, and if you're not familiar with that term, it's more of a frequency freedom. 5d living is not a place, it's a state of being. So 5D living means we're trusting instead of fearing. We're living from that place. We're honoring intuition more than obligation, and I'm going to tell you, these feel fantastic when you give yourself permission to experiment with them. They're not always received well from people who have known us our whole lives, but at this point their opinions really aren't my business and that's what I tell my students, and they are happier than they've ever been, and so am I.

Speaker 1:

Fifth dimensional living also prioritizes flow over force, just living with more ease, feeling where am I in alignment and am I fighting the current or am I flowing with my life? And the feeling of unity over separation, the state of connectedness. We crave that. We crave connection because we are connection. So in the 5D we stop waiting for permission to be ourselves. I mean, who else are you going to be? We align with what feels true and expansive and alive in every moment. We stop performing and because of that we're able to start receiving. We honor the truth of our soul instead of looking for things to put on our resume. And when you claim that freedom, you are not just changing your life, you're creating ripples in the universe. You free your friends, you free your children from inherited pressure, you free your relationships from silent resentment. You become an invitation to step fully into their lives as well. So here's the deep medicine True freedom also includes freeing others.

Speaker 1:

I'm a really altruistic person and I care very much about helping this be a better world. I always have Making this a better place, helping people find what it is that truly resonates with their highest and greatest and happiest form of self-expression, and I find that the deeper I go into this freedom myself, the more it frees those around me, whether it's someone I'm having a casual conversation with at the food store, or whether it's someone I meet when I'm walking in the morning, or whether it's a client or a friend or even some receptive family members. And sometimes that means letting go of control, letting go of judgment or the roles that we've outgrown and this was a tough one for me and it might be for you, or it might be easier for you but sometimes we've just outgrown things. We don't have to keep holding the same roles the rescuer, the fixer, the martyr, the people pleaser just because you always have. I know one of my roles in my family was to be the glue, like in the extended family, and definitely people came together because I'm a good connector and when we came into town from out of state, we would always get people together. I'd still love it if people got together, but you know what? I can't be the only one who loves it, I can't be the only one who's always pushing for it, and so I've let go of being the glue.

Speaker 1:

You're allowed to leave a dynamic that drains your spirit in this dimension, and this is a different way of looking at it. For me and it has been one of the best changes I've ever made I have given other people permission to just have their own path, even if it looks messy. I have been able to step back without guilt when someone just no longer aligns and we're just not in alignment People that don't see me for who I really am, or people that have preconceived notions. I've just taken a step back. I call this true spiritual maturity, and I've got kids in middle school that are able to do it, so I take my hat off to them. It took me a lot longer. I free myself and I don't force anyone else to change so that I feel better. So it's not have and then be, it's be and then have, have and then be means. When I have this, when I have this friendship, when I have this person's approval, when I have this friendship, when I have this person's approval, when I have this job, when I have this boat or this car, then I will be happy and it couldn't be further than the truth.

Speaker 1:

The cart before the horse. Freedom is actually creation is allowing those around us to be as they are and feeling the way we want to feel and the way we desire to feel, being the truth, being joy, being content, being loving, and then we have the having, the having comes to us. So this was a lot, and I think that some journal prompts might help you explore deeper. I'm also going to be offering a master class on this in the summer, in August, and I'd love it if you some space for you to reflect. But here they are, in case you want to write them down.

Speaker 1:

What old belief about money or time or approval still influences your decisions? Where in your life are you waiting for permission? What does freedom feel like in your body? How can you cultivate more of that and what roles do you play that just don't feel aligned anymore? Really, give these some thought. Who or what are you ready to set free with love? And you can repeat these aloud or write them in your journal. I am free to choose my path. I honor my truth, even when others don't understand it. I trust the flow of life and the wisdom of my soul. Freedom is my birthright. I claim my freedom now. I let go of inherited limitations and create new realities, and my favorite one I free myself, I allow others to walk their own journey. So I'm also going to offer a meditation with this one, and I'm going to ask you to find a comfortable place, or pause this and come back to it when you're able to do the meditation.

Speaker 1:

Close your eyes and let's take a moment and step into the frequency of freedom. Take a deep breath in through the nose and sigh it out through the mouth Again. Inhale freedom, exhale all tension. Now imagine a veil gently lifting from your mind's eye. See yourself walking through a doorway into a space where there are no rules, no pressure, no fear. In this space, there's only love. Love surrounds you, only truth and only expansion.

Speaker 1:

This is what it's like when we live from our soul. Feel what it's like to live from your soul, where you don't need permission to rest, to dream, to change or to shine. Notice what your body feels like in this space Light unbound, whole, almost like you're floating hold, almost like you're floating, and I want you to feel the sun. Feel the sun as though you're laying in a field of grass or on the beach and you're just letting the sun go right through you into the ground, float on water and let the water support you and let it gently rock you. You feel whole, you feel weightless, you feel free. Whisper to yourself I am free, I am sovereign, I am sovereign, I am aligned.

Speaker 1:

Memorize this feeling and come back to this meditation every day. Give it a few weeks. Give it a few weeks and, when you're ready, gently wiggle your fingers and your toes, elbows and wrists, ankles and knees, and open your eyes, take a look around and see things with new eyes. Take a look around, take a breath in and feel the freedom. Today's the day you begin. This is your freedom. You've lifted the veil. Thank you so much for joining me today.
