No BS. just simple sustainable strategies. Hello, welcome back to the show. Okay. Summer's coming y'all. It is the end of May and I'm hearing a lot of summer body hot girl summer talk. If you know me at all. You've been around for a while. You know what I really wanna talk about is how to just feel confident in a bathing suit in the body that you have now, and maybe we'll talk about that next week. But I also know. There are a lot of women who wanna lose 10 pounds this summer. And so I respect that. I respect that goal, and I also know that my clients, my audience, you guys are busy and summer, even though there are different schedules and kids are off school. It almost makes it harder when there's less routine. Kids at home travel, all the things. So I'm just gonna be real with you. If I wanted to lose 10 pounds this summer and I only had 20 minutes a day, I'm gonna tell you exactly what I would do. No fluff, no calorie counting, no restrictions, playbook. Okay? Just gonna give you simple strategies that actually work, that work with your lifestyle, not against it. And here's the kicker. It's not just about losing weight. It is about feeling lit up in your body, being proud of how you show up, owning your strength, and doing it in a way that doesn't burn you or stress you The F out. Okay, let's go. here's the thing, most women get wrong in May. They say, I'll start when school's out. I'll wait until after this vacation. I'll wait until things, settle down in September. I'll just do more walks and eat cleaner. It'll be easier to walk when the weather is better. But summer is pretty much here and what you do now compounds In eight weeks, you could be looking back thinking, dang, I really showed up for myself. Not perfectly, but consistently. And the payoff is confidence, energy, momentum, body change that carries you through the whole summer. And the good news is you do not need a perfect schedule, but you do need an intelligent one, somewhat strategic one. So. If I or one of my clients wanted to lose 10 pounds and I feel amazing this summer, here's exactly what I would do. Number one, I would strength train three to four times a week with intention, not random Pinterest or YouTube workouts, not 60 or 75 minutes a day, just 30 minutes of well programmed strength training that builds lean muscle and stokes your metabolism. 20 minutes. If I only had 20 minutes, number two, I would walk more, but I would stop pretending. That walking is a plan, and I'm sorry if you feel a little bit called out. Walking is a beautiful support tool. Walking is beautiful for our mobility, our metabolism, our mental health, but it is not your main character. Strength training is your main character if you want to lose body fat. Number three, rewire my mindset around food and my body. I would stop telling myself that I'm so bad for eating chips. I would stop negotiating with myself every single day about whether I have time to work out or was going to. Instead, I would shift to some phrases like this, some thoughts like this, and when you think a thought enough, it becomes a belief. I'm someone who keeps promises to myself.""I move because it feels good. I can eat what I want, and I choose what actually nourishes me." This right here, that is the mindset of a woman who does not ever need another diet. She's finally free. I experienced this. I've had countless clients experience this. The ease that you step into when you start to step into the identity of the woman who believes these things, and you will not believe these things until you practice thinking them, even when it doesn't quite feel real yet. let me tell you about my client. We'll just call her C. I love client C. She is one of my longest time clients. I love, love, love, love her, and. This morning she sent us a list of wins, a beautiful list of wins. I am all about celebrating your wins. I ask all of our clients and all of our programs We ran strongher last week, Summer60's coming up, and muscles and mindset. I want you to share your wins, if not to us, at least to yourself, but there's power in sharing it with someone else. My client c knows this. So she sent, her coach and I a huge list of wins this morning, and I was just like, almost to tears reading it. And one of the things she said, which made me laugh was, how the f am I not craving a giant bowl of buttery pasta anymore?" Her mind was blown that she just doesn't have those cravings and there's a whole, like she's been through our whole muscles and mindset 10 step nutrition method. But this is a woman, I'm telling you this because this is a woman who used to white knuckle it every summer. She just came back from Palm Springs, lost weight while she was away in Palm Springs on her period, still had food, also did her workouts. And now she's wearing the shorts. She's eating ice cream with her kids. She's doing 25 minute workouts and crushing her goals. Her workouts are never more than 39 minutes. There's no obsession. There is no shame. You do just need a system that works for you in your life, one that respects your time, your energy, your season of life. This is your full season of life right now. One that builds strength in your body and trust in yourself. And that is what we are going to do inside Summer 60. It is eight weeks of short, effective workouts that make you feel like a badass not burnt out. Simple strategies that actually fit into your real life. And mindset and nutrition support that helps you to stop falling off the, I messed up. I might as well just start over" cycle because I've seen that before.
