Ep #80: Goodbye, for Now…

This episode is a deeply personal one as I share a decision that has been sitting heavily on my heart: I’m taking a step back from The Secure Love Club Podcast, and the upcoming September intake of Peacefully Attached will be the final round of the program.
After 80 episodes, three years of Peacefully Attached and the privilege of supporting so many incredible women, I’ve realised that something new is calling me forward. I feel ready to expand beyond dating and relationships and explore the work I’m feeling increasingly drawn towards around breathwork, nervous system regulation, our capacity to sit with discomfort and what becomes possible when we finally trust ourselves enough to take aligned action.
This isn’t an easy ending, and I don’t know exactly what comes next yet… but sometimes we have to let go of what is familiar, comfortable and deeply meaningful to create space for the next evolution of who we are.
To every person who has listened, shared an episode, sent me a message or allowed this podcast to walk beside them through a difficult season: thank you. This is goodbye for now, but I have a feeling this isn’t the end.
And to the woman who has been telling herself she’ll join Peacefully Attached “one day”… we’ve officially reached one day. Applications for the final intake close Sunday, 16 August at midnight.

You are listening to the Secure Love Club podcast. I'm your host, Mimi Watt Hey friends, welcome back to the club. I'm coming to you today with a bit of a personal/professional life update that is very important for me to share. And as you can tell by the title of this episode, this is quite significant. The past week has been really interesting. I sat down to do work on Monday morning, and Felt this sense of heaviness in my body, this sense of misalignment in a way. And as I sat with this feeling and I talked with my sister, we were at a cafe together working, and she was with me, and I stopped and I just turned to her, and she knew. She's like, "What?" Like, "What's going on?" And as I began talking, I just began crying because clearly there was a truth that was within me that was bubbling up and out of me. And I, for some reason, finally felt called to say what I was feeling. And what came out of me in that moment was that I feel that there is something more that is calling me forward in terms of the work that I do and who I work with. And if I'm really honest, you know, this work that I do around relationships, dating and relationships, it means so much to me, and I value it so highly. It's a passion of mine. Whilst all of that is true, what is also true is that I have evolved so much in the last few years, and I'm feeling called to expand, yeah, the type of work that I do and the type of clients that I work with, and being able to speak to a broader audience and people who want support, not just with their relationships, but with other areas of their life too. And with all of this that I was feeling, I knew that there was a decision that need to be made, and it was not an easy decision, let me say that. This was a very difficult decision. But now that I have made this decision, I know it was the right one, and this decision involves my podcast, and it involves my signature program, Peacefully Attached, that you have probably heard me talk about many, many, many times through these episodes. I've made the decision that the intake of Peacefully Attached that we are currently launching for, which is our ninth intake, beginning in September 2026, is going to be the final round of this program. The other decision is that I am going to be taking a pause and a step back from this podcast for now. I'm not saying this is forever. This is a temporary step back as far as I know, as far as I can say, with hand on my heart right now. And the reason I'm doing this is, well, I guess it's two- twofold. The decision around the program, around ending Peacefully Attached, is not because I don't love what's in this program or I don't think it's important or valuable or impactful. None of that at all. It's that, like I said earlier, I want to open myself up to supporting people in other areas as well. The type of work that I'm feeling called to do is more deeply around breathwork and nervous system regulation and expanding our capacity for discomfort so that you can take more aligned action in your life and live a more aligned life. That is the direction I'm feeling called to move in. And what's funny is that a lot of that is what we do inside Peacefully Attached. It's just that PA is geared towards, and it is centered around, applying that stuff with practical dating strategies and mindset work that we do around dating and relationships. So it's just more specifically geared toward that. And I feel that as long as I am still focusing on that and promoting my work f- to that niche specifically, it is limiting me or capping me from being able to explore these other areas that I want to go into. And as I said, this was not an easy decision to make because I've been running this program for the last three years, and the clients, the women that I have worked with, have just been incredible. And the journeys that I get to go on with these women and the transformations that they experience in the time we are working together is just so profound and amazing, and I am incredibly grateful that I have had the honor of working with women over the last three years in this space. And Yeah, I just, ugh, don't get me started on my soapbox with that one. But anyway, for that reason, that is why this is the final intake that I'm going to be running in September. And what I wanna say to that is I know there are many of you who have been following me for years now. You have been listening to this podcast every week. You have been feeling the pull to work with me, and you've been saying to yourself, you know, "One day I'm gonna do that program. One day I'm gonna work with Mimi, and I'm gonna really put myself first, and I'm going to do this work that I know I need to do around my relationships." Well, my friend, today is that day. We have reached one day, because this is literally your last chance, and I am presenting you an opportunity to do something about it now, to finally follow through on your intuitive pull on what you have been saying you are going to do for so long. Now is the time to move, and sometimes we do need a bit of urgency, right? This isn't about me trying to convince you to work with me or to force anything that doesn't feel right, not at all, because I only wanna work with people who truly feel aligned with my mission, my values, and what my work is about, and who don't need convincing. But what I'm saying is sometimes we do need a bit of pressure and urgency in the right way to get ourselves to take action outside of our comfort zones. Because if we don't have a reason to move, why would we? Why would we leave our comfort zones, right? The way that we're wired, it just doesn't make sense physiologically. So this is that fire under your ass. This is the time to step forward and to be in a space that will change your life if you lean in. What I have known to be true from doing this work and coaching people for the last six years, and also being a client myself for the last six years in many different coaching containers, and being, always having a mentor to support me on my journey in various aspects, is nothing compares to being in a group space of like-minded people who are- co creating new results in their lives who are on the same journey as you. Yes, you can do s- this work one-on-one with a therapist. Yes, you can try and break your patterns on your own and personal development stuff on your own. But doing it when you are surrounded by people who understand the journey you're on, who understand the nuances and the ins and outs and just get you in a way that friends and family in your life can't understand, is so fucking powerful, especially with having an anxious attachment style and having these specific relationship challenges that feel so deeply personal that you probably don't wanna talk about this so much with your friends and family because I Well, if I speak for myself, I know that there can be an element of shame around it. And so we keep it quiet, we keep it to ourselves, but when we keep these things locked up, it only exacerbates the shame. And shame dies when shared in safe spaces. That is one of the biggest reflections I receive, and th- one of the biggest things I see with every intake of this program is the women saying that they feel so empowered by being around other women in the group and making these connections. They feel like they're not alone. They feel that they deeply resonate with each other's stories, with each other's challenges, each other's wins as we share every week. And also being in a group space and speaking and being in your vulnerability and being held and supported in that is so fucking healing and empowering. And it's just, ugh, like, if you're not in one of these spaces, what are you doing? Whether it's mine or someone else's, whatever, I don't care, just you need to get yourself in a space where you're going to be activated and you're going to be supported to make meaningful change in your life. And if I'm the person you know you've been wanting to work with, then this is the time to get your butt inside Peacefully Attached. This is going to be the most powerful, the most potent intake of this program because, yes, this is my last intake, but that does not mean at all that I'm slowing down or that I am less activated or bringing less value to you. If anything, it's gonna be more than ever because I want to go out with a bang. I want this program to You know, I really wanna do it proud by making this last round the best it can be. So if you've been wanting to join me, now is the time. Also, with the investment to join, it is the most accessible it has ever been in terms of the price of the investment. I have never made it easier for you to jump in than I have now. So do yourself a solid and take advantage of this opportunity The other part of this is that with the podcast, I will be taking a step back, as I mentioned. Now, I know that you probably don't wanna hear that because I know for me, if I'm a, a devoted listener to a podcast that comes out every week, uh, I hate when they don't upload and I don't have that, um, space to tune into and have these conversations that are really expansive. However What I want you to know is that I'm taking a step back so that I can give myself space for what wants to birth through me next to come through. Now, if you've worked with me before, or if you know me, you probably know that I have a tattoo on my arm that says, "Let go to let in." And this is something I live by and I believe in so wholeheartedly, it's why I got it tattooed on my arm, that in life, there are going to be times when you know in your heart that there is something you need to let go of, and when we let go, there is going to be a temporary void. There's going to be space where what was there is now empty, and it's not filled yet. But the only way it can be filled with that which is more in alignment with who you are now, that is more in alignment with your inner truth, is by creating space for it to come in. And that's really scary sometimes, because as humans, we don't like the unknown. We don't love uncertainty. In fact, we hate it, and we do anything we can to avoid it. That's why we stay in predictable patterns, in the familiar, in routines that we've outgrown, in relationships that don't serve us anymore, in jobs and careers that don't light us up. Because even though it doesn't light us up, it's familiar. So to anyone here who is ready to let something go, whether you're letting go of an old identity, of a relationship, of these old stories you've been holding on to, whatever it is for you, if you're letting go because you just know that you are being called to step into the next evolution of yourself, I just wanna say, you are not alone, and I see you in that, and I know how scary it is, but you know what? It is so fucking brave. It is so brave. Because by doing that, you are saying, "I know I'm meant for more, and I'm re- I'm willing to go through this temporary discomfort to find out what that more is." And so me stepping back from creating here is me giving me that, myself that chance for something even greater to come in. And whilst I don't know exactly what that is going to look like yet, I know, I can feel in my bones that it's going to be powerful. And, you know, the reason I'm able to do this, why I'm able to step away from something that feels familiar, that I'm good at, that feels comfortable, and step into the unknown, is because of all the work that I have done that I now teach my clients around Expanding my capacity for discomfort, being able to step into the unknown, feel the fear, and do it anyway, and being able to trust myself and my intuition and know that no matter what happens, I'm going to be okay because I've developed that relationship with myself. I trust myself. I back myself. I have confidence in myself. And trust me, I wasn't always this way. Years ago, I would have looked at me now and been like, "Who the fuck is that? Who is she? Whatever she's taking, I want some of that." That is honestly the truth, and I'm so proud of where I'm at now and these decisions that I'm making, 'cause they're not easy, but they're very important. And this is the energy that I am claiming right now. So if you wanna be in this energy where you really wanna be bold and shake shit up in your life and step into the next version of yourself, then get inside my spaces. If it's around your relationships and you know that you are destined for something so much greater than settling for these relationships that are just so mediocre, or where you feel truly undervalued, and you don't feel safe, and you don't feel seen, and you don't feel like you can speak up about what's really on your heart, where you feel like you have to walk on eggshells all the time, and, like, you're constantly bending over backwards to make your partner happy whilst they're not doing the same for you. I mean, you are destined for so much more than that. You deserve a relationship with someone who truly sees you for who you really are, who loves you for who you are, who makes you feel like the best version of your authentic self, not someone you feel like you have to pretend to be in order for them to keep loving you or choosing you. You deserve to be with someone who doesn't run away or shy away from conflict, but who walks toward it, because they know that it doesn't It's not a threat. It's an opportunity to deepen your relationship You deserve a partner who you are proud to introduce to your friends and family, not who you are ashamed of and who you don't wanna introduce to anyone because you know deep down they're not good enough for you. Like, we are done with this energy. We are done with having so much self-awareness, but not being able to make meaningful change in the moments that it counts. So this is your official call forward, and please keep in mind that spots are limited for this intake, as they always are, because this is an intimate container where you get so much of my devotion, my energy, and my attention on you and your specific journey. So if you are wanting to be in this space, do not hesitate. This is your time to join. The applications or enrollment, I should say, is closing on Sunday next weekend. Let me just double check what date that is. Sunday, the 16th of August at midnight, applications and enrollment are closing, and that is literally it. That is your deadline. We are kicking off the intake in September, I think the middle of September, so it is so close. It is gonna be here before we know it. I will leave the link to apply in the show notes below, and if you have any questions or you just wanna have a chat with me before applying, send me a message on Instagram. I will be responding to you personally. I always do, and I'm in there every day reading your messages. So I'm here to talk if you would like, but yeah, I'm really calling forward the women who are absolutely ready to go all in on this work, who are open-minded, who are coachable, who are ready to not just receive from the group, but to contribute to the group, and really just do this thing. If that's you, I want you in this space, and it's there for you to claim, so step on up This has been such a privilege, a pleasure, and an honor to be recording these podcast episodes every week.
