Lately, golf has become much more than a hobby for me.
It’s become a reset button.
In today’s episode of The Daily Happy, I talk about how playing golf has positively impacted my mental health, reduced stress, improved focus, and helped me slow down in a world that constantly pushes us to speed up.
What’s fascinating is the science supports it too:
⛳ Walking several miles per round improves cardiovascular health
⛳ Time outdoors lowers stress and anxiety
⛳ Golf teaches patience, resilience, and emotional control
⛳ Studies have even linked regular golf participation with increased longevity
But beyond the research, there’s something powerful about being outside early in the morning, disconnected from screens, focused on one shot at a time.
Golf keeps reminding me:
One bad hole doesn’t ruin the round.
One bad day doesn’t ruin your life.
Golf is like life, meant to be enjoyed.
