Prospecting is a dollar-productive activity — so why do we treat it like an interruption?

In this episode of The Winning Real Estate Equation, Danica and I break down our exact approach to focused prospecting and why we refuse to let distractions steal our income-producing time.

Here’s what changed everything for us:

Instead of stopping between calls to send an email, call a lender, set up a showing, or “quickly handle something,” we stay in momentum. We commit to 30 minutes or 20 straight dials — no interruptions. We take notes during each call, then once the dialing block is complete, we’ve scheduled separate time to follow up and handle next steps.

Why?

Because every time you stop, you risk never starting again.

We also protect our prospecting time fiercely. If it’s scheduled, we don’t write contracts, review inspections, or set up showings during that window. Prospecting is how we generate income — and we treat it like it matters.

If you’ve ever felt “busy” but not productive, this episode will help you simplify your system and get back to what actually moves the needle.
