So grab your favorite drink. Take a deep breath, and let's jump into your new nourished life. Hello and welcome back to the Nourished Living Podcast. I am your host, Courtney Podany. Today's episode is short and sweet, but it could quite possibly be the little kick in the pants some of you need. I originally had a different episode planned to come out this week, but after having a few of the same conversations lately, it made me think that there are others out there that also need to hear this message right now. So here it is. When is enough enough? How long are you going to live in pain and discomfort? Just because you think taking charge of your health is going to be a huge undertaking, you can only lie to yourself for so long before your body calls you out. Okay. You can only go on so long neglecting yourself before the body starts to break down and you are forced to make a change. And trust me, I don't say this from a place of judgment. I say this 100% from experience and from watching it play out again and again. We all have that breaking point where we say, enough is enough. The problem is some people wait until that breaking point is when they've already hit rock bottom, when their health forces them to pay attention. And it's usually not in a gentle way. It's the diagnosis you didn't see coming, the exhaustion. You can't seem to shake. The bloating, the anxiety, the sleepless nights, the blood sugar rollercoaster, the weight that won't move, no matter how good you're being. Your body has been whispering for a long time. You just haven't been listening. We love to tell ourselves we'll start Monday. We'll start after the holidays when life slows down, when the kids are older, when work isn't so stressful. But let's be real. Life does not slow down and there will always be a reason to put yourself last, and that's exactly how years end up slipping by. And then you're like, how did I get here? At some point, you have to decide that you're done living in survival mode. You're done feeling like crap every day and pretending it's normal. You're done outsourcing your health to doctors diets or quick fixes and start realizing you have a massive role in how you feel. I see it all the time. People want to feel better. They say all the right things, but when it comes down to it, they're not ready to do the uncomfortable work. Because yes, it is uncomfortable. It's uncomfortable to break patterns. It's uncomfortable to say no. It's uncomfortable to show up differently when everyone around you is still living on autopilot. But do you know what's more uncomfortable? Waking up every day in a body that is screaming for help, feeling disconnected, drained, frustrated, and knowing that deep down you are capable of so much more, but not doing anything about it. Change doesn't happen when you stay comfortable. It happens when you finally say, I am done with my own excuses. And if you can try to figure out exactly what the resistance is that is keeping you stuck, why are you unable to move forward? Is it fear of change? Is it fear of failure? Identifying this limiting belief will help you to get ahead of it next time to break the cycle and help you stay on track and identifying this might even help you in other areas of your life as well. So it is something important to tune into. And when you do finally decide to make that change, it does not have to be all or nothing. You do not have to throw out everything in your pantry or become some perfect wellness version of yourself overnight. It's about taking ownership, making one better choice and building momentum truly, because every small shift will compound, and you wanna know what's on the other side of that one decision. It's not just better health. It's waking up with energy again, it's feeling confident in your own skin instead of frustrated by it. It's peace in your mind. It's having the clarity to make decisions without second guessing yourself. It is showing up in your relationships with more patience, more joy, and more presence. It's walking into your day grounded instead of reactive. When your body feels good, everything changes. Your mood, your confidence, your relationships, your career, and your drive. You start attracting better things because you're operating from a place of alignment instead of a place of survival. You stop settling, you stop apologizing, and you start remembering who you are. That one decision to stop tolerating feeling like crap, and finally taking ownership. That's the moment everything starts to shift. So if you're listening to this and you're nodding along thinking, yep, that's me. I'm tired of feeling tired. I'm tired of knowing what to do, but not doing it. Let this be your sign. You don't need to hit rock bottom, or you don't need to wait for rock bottom. You don't need another fresh start on Monday. You just need to decide that you're ready today. Your health isn't a chore or a burden. It is your foundation for literally everything in life. And the longer you ignore it, the louder those whispers become until they turn into screams. So start now. Drink the water. Go for the walk. Eat real food. Go to bed earlier. Say no to things that drain you and say yes to yourself. You don't need motivation. You need to make a decision. You can either wait until your body forces you to take care of it, or you can choose to be proactive and take the reins now because what got you here? Feeling uncomfortable and painful every single day is not what will get you where you want to be. Okay. I know this episode might have been a little fiery, but sometimes that is exactly what we need because you do deserve to feel good. You just have to start acting like it. If this episode hit home for you, share it with someone who needs that same reminder.
