Bio:
Amanda Ferrat is the founder of Value Yourself Counseling LLC, a certified Advanced EFT Practitioner, wellness counselor, and international speaker. Over the last two decades, Amanda has supported others in various social service settings; including those grieving, in crisis, or healing from trauma. Amanda pursued a Masters of Social Work until life had other plans. While on her own healing journey after numerous losses, Amanda discovered Emotional Freedom Techniques, also known as EFT or tapping. She immediately knew that EFT would deepen her own healing and that it was how she wanted to help others heal as well. Amanda now helps women, teens, and gender expansive folks have permission to dig deep and uncover their true selves and then feel safe enough to live life out loud as that most authentic version of themselves. To do this, Amanda helps them shed layers of shame, patriarchal programming, trauma and grief so they can learn to trust, love and heal themselves on a deeper level. Amanda identifies as a fat, queer, Pagan, neurodivergent and disabled woman. When not helping others heal or advocating for mental health, she can be found hanging out with her dog Ludo, having adventures along the Oregon Coast.
