I share a schedule shift to Wednesdays only so we can honor health, capacity, and sustainable creativity. I model boundaries over performance and invite you to choose a rhythm that supports your nervous system and real life.

About Me:

I’m Autumn Moran, a Licensed Professional Counselor and Life Coach specializing in trauma-informed care for neurodivergent women and trauma survivors.

Therapy (Texas residents only):

I provide individual therapy in my private practice for women working through trauma, late diagnosis processing, relationship challenges, and healing from narcissistic abuse or toxic family systems. My approach is neurodivergent-affirming and focuses on helping you understand your patterns while building practical tools for nervous system regulation and authentic living.

Life Coaching (available anywhere):

For women outside Texas or those wanting support alongside therapy, I offer:

Somatic Healing Coaching: Bridges the gap between cognitive understanding and embodied healing through nervous system work, movement practices, and practical integration tools. Perfect as a complement to talk therapy or for those ready to work directly with their body’s wisdom.

Unmasking Journey Coaching: Specialized support for late-diagnosed neurodivergent women learning to reconnect with their authentic selves after decades of masking. We work on identifying your real needs, rebuilding your sense of self, and creating a life that fits who you actually are.

Whether you’re healing trauma, discovering yourself after late diagnosis, or both, my goal is to help you not just understand your story, but feel genuinely safe and at home in your own body.

A Gentle Announcement

SPEAKER_00

Hey there. This is Autumn. Welcome to The Awaken Heart, a podcast for healing women. And this is the Friday bonus episode, and it's just an announcement today. Just an announcement of the way I'm about to shift gears to accommodate myself in a more better light. I've decided to step back from our Friday bonus episodes. Moving forward, the Awaken Heart podcast will release new episodes on Wednesdays only. This decision comes from a place of honoring what I teach and practice with my clients, the importance of sustainable rhythms and listening to what our bodies and nervous systems are telling us. I want to bring you the most grounded, intentional content I can create. And I've realized that maintaining twice-weekly episodes while running my practice, while managing my own health that seems to be up in the air these days and doing my own healing work isn't sustainable right now. Quality matters more to me than quantity. And I want to show up for you from a place of fullness rather than depletion. This isn't me walking away from this work or from you. This is me modeling what I encourage all of you to do: recognizing our limits, adjusting our commitments, and choosing sustainability over performance. Wednesday's episodes will continue with the same depth and care you've come to expect. If you've been pushing yourself too hard, trying to maintain something that's draining you, consider this your permission slip to also take action. Sometimes doing less is doing more. I thank you for your support. I thank you for your understanding. I thank you for your presence. I hope that this change doesn't make you shy away from the podcast, but just enrich on the Wednesdays episodes and enjoy what I have from week to week to share with you. I thank you always, always for being here and being a listener, whether you're a first-time or a repeat listener. I am humbled. I am grateful. It fills my little cup, my little heart cup so much. But yeah, I need more sustainable. I have health issues that I'm sure I'll talk about. But right now, just to be honest, I have been diagnosed with chronic kidney disease. And right now I'm in between labs and ultrasounds just to make sure it's not declining rapidly or to see if it's an acute injury. So as I go through doctor's appointments and follow-ups, it's just not sustainable for me to have two episodes a week. I gotta focus on me. I gotta focus on my health so that I can be here for the long haul. So once again, I thank you so much for being here. I thank you so much for all the love, all the all of it, all of it, because it's it's so, so important for me to be an example of what I preach and not just do as I say, not as I do. Because we all know that's some toxic shit, sisters, right? If you were raised by anyone that said, do as I say, not as I do, or exemplified that, that was a major mind fuck for you. That totally threw you for a loop and made you not be able to trust anybody or what parents say. It was just, we'll totally get into it because I hear this a lot. And if you're a current parent that adopts the do as I say, not as I do, stop it now. You need to do as you say and you need to do as you do. You need to be the example, not just verbally, because your kids are gonna do what they see hands down, not what you say. So if you tell your daughters to take care of themselves, to express themselves, to not take no shit, and you don't do that in action, they're gonna repeat what you're doing, not what you're saying. So little rant, a little moment. I just wanted to come on for this Friday episode. This is the last semi bonus because there's not really going to be much but this. But I appreciate you and I thank you. And I'll see you on Wednesdays. And until next time, please take care of your awakened heart, as gentle as possible. And I'll see you every Wednesday. Take care, and I'll see you soon.
