Gabis Parsha Schlach Shabz Navarchum Tamuz People wonder how the Shiddh crisis started. I think it started from this Parsha, when all the men over twenty were decreed to die in the desert over the forty years because of the story of the Moragwim, and all the women were spared. The Kleukar, who lived many hundreds of years ago, comments and says that the Moraglim were Kulum Anushim, all men, because if Moshe sent women to be spies, this would have never happened. And we know that Yeshua got protection since a letter Yud was added to his name from Sarai, the original name of Surah Imenu. And the Yud, which equals ten, was to counter the bad vibes of the Ten Moraglam. But what about Kalav? How was he protected? Rashi says that he went himself to Chevraim to pray at the holy burial places, and that gave him protection. And we should remember this when we dominate the Ayon, especially now, right before Gimel Thamuz, and Shabbas is Chafan, which marks the day the Rebbe came to America and transformed it to what it is today. So when we pray by a caver of Itzadik, it gives us protection like Kalev had. This parsha on face value is sad, but when you look closer, there are many lessons to look at everything with optimism that Hashem has our back. The Moroccans saw so many funerals in the Holy Land and said that this land consumes its people, and that was bad. But they didn't realize, as Rashi says, that Hashem was providing a distraction, so the locals would not get suspicious of twelve strange men spying on their land because they were preoccupied with death. And we learn from the words La Idahara, meaning the bad congregation, referring to the ten Moraglim, that a minion is to be made up of ten Jews, and no matter how low you can go, like the ten spies, they can still be counted for a minion. Furthermore, after the decree that the B'n'Israel needed to stay forty years in the desert for the forty days the Moroccan spied the land, the Parsha ends off with hope and optimism, describing the special mitzvas that the B'N'ai Israel will need to do once they enter the Holy Land, separating the Kala and the special karbanas. And at the very end we are told about wearing tzitz. And my Mashpiya told us that it mentions it here at the end of the school year before summer vacation to make sure to remind us to wear tsis even in the hot days of summer when you are not in yeshiva. And the beauty of tits is that it not only provides you with protection, like the Anani Hakavid, the clouds of glory did for the Bene Skrull in the desert, but it also makes you connect your mind to Hashem by looking at the fringes with Techelis, which has the blue from the sea, which resembles the sky, where the Kise Hakovit, the throne of Hashem sits. It makes me want to get Techhalis for my tzits. And my favorite lesson is when the spies said that we look like grasshoppers in the eyes of giants, and it repeats it and says, and that is how we were perceived. This was their opinion, showing that they lacked confidence because in fact the Medristanchuma says that the giants saw angels. One always needs to have confidence, no matter how small you are, because Hashem is with you. And if you project that you are a grasshopper, then that's what you will become. So stand tall and strong. You are on this world because Hashem put you here and gave you a unique mission and purpose. So take care of yourself physically and spiritually to achieve your godly objective. And to conclude, the Parsha's name is Shalakh Lichha. We are all Shlhim to bring the G'ulah. And each of us have an individuality, Lichha, to achieve this in our own special way, so we may enter Erichra with Mashiach Suchinu. Amen.
