Some weeks you feel unstoppable. Other weeks you’re staring at a pile of boxes, your creativity is tapped out, and “progress” looks like simply not quitting on yourself. I’m Tina, your transformational coach and emotional intelligence strategist, and I’m sharing a raw check-in from the middle of a big life transition as I get ready to move, reset my routines, and step into a new season with my family.

We talk about why action doesn’t always look loud or energized. Sometimes the bravest kind of action is quiet: keeping your commitment, showing up imperfectly, and letting a chaotic week be what it is. I share what’s happening behind the scenes, from the excitement of a new environment and being closer to my boys, to the real stress of packing and the fear of that last-minute moving-day scramble. If you’ve ever felt guilty for not being “on,” this is your permission slip to breathe and still count yourself as moving forward.

You’ll leave with a grounded mindset shift, practical motivation for hard weeks, and a reminder that small steps can be powerful steps. If you’re navigating change, building healthier patterns, or working on personal growth, this conversation is for you. Subscribe for more honest coaching, share this with a friend who needs it, and leave a review telling me: what does “showing up” look like for you this week?

Welcome And Who I Am

SPEAKER_00

Welcome, welcome, welcome. This is Tina. Get it got it girl. I'm your transformational coach and emotional intelligence strategist. I'm here to help you break patterns, unhealthy patterns, and replace them with good positive ones.

Action Looks Different Each Week

SPEAKER_00

Last week I was in a reality. I was really in a motivated place, like talking about action and getting things done. And that was true. But this week reminded me that action doesn't always look the same. Sometimes it's big and energized, and sometimes it's quieter. Sometimes it's just about showing up while life is shifting around you.

Moving Plans And Family Joy

SPEAKER_00

I've got a lot happening behind the scenes right now. I'm getting ready to move. And there's all this anticipation and excitement. Just take a good breath. I'm excited. And there's gonna be a new environment. New routines. And honestly, I'm really looking forward to it. And there's gonna be a swimming pool. Oh my goodness. I love swimming. I'm really looking forward to moving in with my youngest son, who I miss so much. I really do miss him. And he has three dogs, so it's definitely going to be a little chaotic. But it's so much fun. I love my little grandpuppies, is what I call them. And I like to lay in between them and cuddle them. So I'm really, really looking forward to that. And I'm excited to have both of my boys close again. That part feels really good.

When Creativity Taps Out

SPEAKER_00

And with all that going on, the packing, oh, the planning, the changes, my creativity, for some reason, it just kind of tapped out this week. Like I was like, what am I gonna talk about this week? And I just didn't want to force anything. So I thought, well, you know what? Nothing was feeling right. So instead of pretending I had some perfectly polished idea, I figured out I'd just bring you into the moment with me of reality and what's going on today. Because I feel like this is part of the process too. You're gonna have ups and downs, you're gonna have excitement, you're gonna have nervousness, you're gonna have different moods, different days, and different weeks. And I don't want to pretend like everything's always so set in stone and you're ready and you're motivated. So some weeks, like you're full of ideas and momentum.

Showing Up Counts As Action

SPEAKER_00

And then other weeks you're just juggling life and doing the best you can to keep up. And that's where I'm at right now with packing. And honestly, I count both of them as action. It's like showing up at all is just still showing up. So I have made a commitment to myself to show up, but I also am honoring that part of me that has to get ready and start packing and make sure that the move goes smooth as it can. And from past experience and moving, I have thought I was done packing, and then all of a sudden, I don't know if anybody has this experience. You think you're done and it's moving day or the night before, and you start packing up stuff, and hours and hours go by, and you're still packing. You feel like, oh my gosh, I'm never gonna be ready for the truck. So I don't want to be in that position that I was in the past. So for me, I'm just here being honest and letting this week be what it is. I'm not gonna force something that you know isn't there. So yeah, and packing. Yep, I have to pack. And I have a lot of little tiny boxes. And so if you're having one of those weeks where you don't even know what you're gonna do, that's okay. Just show up for yourself. It doesn't have to be something polished. Just show up, just show up. Last week I was really in a motivated place. I was talking

Closing Thoughts And Rebranding

SPEAKER_00

about taking action and getting things done, and that was very true. Sometimes it's just showing up while life is shifting around you. And so I wanted to just be honest with you guys and hang out and let you know what's going on this week, showing up for you, and showing up most importantly for myself. Thank you for hanging out with me today. Next week we'll be a little more settled, a little less chaotic, and hopefully a little more inspiring. But for now, this is me just taking action the best way I can. And I'm glad that you're here with me. I thank each and every one of you. I love sharing my story, and I love just being real and raw like I am right now. And I just wanted to have a little quick check-in with you and hope everybody's having a great week. And I look forward to the upcoming rebranding, and that's all part of it. The move is part of the rebranding. So thank you. This is Get It Got It Girl. Thanks for coming to listen to my episode this week. And I hope you have a great week. Do anything, just show up for yourself, and you don't have to put in all this effort, you don't always have to be on. Sometimes you need to, you know, relax. So there are two sides of that. You can be motivated, you can be taking tons of action, and then you can have those moments where you just show up. It can be a small little thing, it doesn't have to be a huge grand gesture. All right, guys, thank you for coming to my podcast. I really appreciate you. Have a great week.
