She also works as an adjunct professor teaching Generative AI for Communicators. Ryan Dentinger is the Technical Producer for the podcast People B4 Machines, which explores the chaos and innovation of factory automation, from Monday mornings to the near future. He also serves as the Video Production Specialist at Eclipse Automation, where he creates, writes, records, and voices video content for a global audience. Prior to joining Eclipse, Ryan built a 15-year career in the radio industry, earning multiple Crystals Awards for excellence in creative advertising. His experience spans roles in news and production departments, showcasing his versatility and passion for storytelling across media platforms.

Adam Dorr

Adam Dorr directs our research program and leads our research team. He is an environmental social scientist and technology theorist whose recent RethinkX publications have focused on the disruption of the global energy sector by new energy generation and storage technologies, as well as the implications of the energy, transportation and food disruptions for climate change.

Adam regularly presents RethinkX's work on stage, radio, podcasts, and television and has more than a decade of teaching, lecturing, and public speaking experience.


He completed his MS at the University of Michigan's School for the Environment and Sustainability and his PhD at UCLA's Luskin School of Public Affairs.

Jeff Burnstein

Jeff Burnstein is President of the Association for Advancing Automation (A3), representing 1350+ global companies in robotics, AI, vision, motion control, and automation technologies. Joining A3 in 1983, he became President in 2007. A frequent media commentator and global speaker, Burnstein addresses automation’s impact on jobs and its future beyond factories. He serves on the Executive Board of the International Federation of Robotics, the University of Michigan Robotics Advisory Board, and Visit Detroit’s Customer Advisory Board. A lifelong Metro Detroit resident, he began his career promoting downtown Detroit. In 2023, he received the Engelberger Robotics Award for Leadership, the “Nobel Prize of Robotics.” A3’s Automate Show is North America’s largest robotics trade show, with 850+ exhibitors and 40,000 registrants. A3 also hosts the industry’s largest networking event and leading conferences on robotics safety, humanoid robots, and AI.

Kevin Bowers is the Association for Manufacturing Technology’s Vice President of Research: With over 25 years of experience in manufacturing across sales, operations, training, and support, he understands all aspects of our members' businesses. He also led research for industrial equipment and field services at TSIA, where they focused on benchmarking, advisory, and consulting to improve members' business outcomes. Kevin's deep-rooted industry knowledge and technical expertise, combined with his experience in actionable research, make him uniquely qualified to take our Research and Consulting team at AMT to the next level. He also serves on the executive board of NIMS (National Institute for Metalworking Skills). Ujjwal has a 25-year career spanning multiple industries and major multi-national corporations, including General Motors, General Electric, and Honeywell.
