AI is changing how people find local services. ChatGPT is rolling out ads, but the agents who win won't be the ones who spend the most—they'll be the ones AI already trusts. Learn three simple ways to become AI-findable: update your profiles, create specific content, and gather trust-building reviews. Go to jchrisbryant.com to connect with Chris or learn about coaching.

Issue number 24 of the missional agent memo. A few years ago, everyone was asking, How do I rank higher on Google? Now there's a new question. How do I show up in AI? Because whether we realize it or not, people are increasingly asking tools like ChatGPT questions they used to type in a search bar. Who's a good realtor in Springfield? Who's the best insurance agent in Branson? Who should I use for tree service in Nixa? And here's what's caught my attention recently. ChatGPT is beginning to roll out advertising. That means if someone asks a question about a local service, there may eventually be opportunities to pay to show up in the conversation. So before you panic or start dreaming about spending money to be the top result, hear this. The best agents and owners in business probably won't be the ones who simply spend the most. They'll be the ones AI already trusts. Because even with ads, AI still gives organic recommendations based on what it sees online, not on who pays the most. In other words, your digital reputation, particularly on AI, is becoming your new curb appeal. So here's the good news: you don't need to wait for Chat GPT ads to figure this out. You can start now, today, and it's simpler than you think. Number one, keep your online profiles current and consistent. AI pulls from all over the internet. If your Google business profile, Zillow, Realtor.com, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, or website are outdated, inconsistent, or incomplete, it creates confusion in the models and AI will move past you. So pick three online profiles to update this week. If you're not sure where to start, start with your Google business profile. Number two, create content for a specific person, not everyone. If you talk to everyone, no one is listening. You have to get specific about who you help. That's how you get AI and people to pay attention to you. So ask yourself: what kind of client do I most want to become known for helping? Veterans, first-time home buyers, seniors. Make sure your website, social channels, and online profiles say it clearly and solve problems for those specific people. AI is more likely to point to you as the go-to when you're specific. Number three, gather reviews that signal trust. AI looks for trust signals. Reviews matter more than ever because they communicate credibility, expertise, and consistency. But generic reviews like Chris was great, they don't help much. Instead, encourage reviews that mention what problem you solved, what type of client you helped, and what made the experience different. Example, moving to Springfield was stressful until Chris took over. He knew the neighborhoods, the schools, everything. He made buying a home so easy. So write down. Who are five past clients that I can ask for a review? The future of marketing isn't just search, it's becoming AI search. And the agents who consistently show up online with clarity, credibility, and trust will have the advantage, even over the people who pay to play. So this week, pick one item from this list and move on it. Do it. That's your step toward AI readiness. In your corner, Chris.
