Season 1 Episode 14

Just Karen and Jenn today!

This is a not to miss episode if you are dealing with ADHD, people pleasing, perimenopause, overwhelm, or like Karen and I - the times when all of these things collide.

Today we unpack a real life experience of the overlap of ADHD, perimenopause, perfectionism, and just regular mom stuff. We start with Karen's relatable experience of paralysis in just trying to get from one place to another with all the things she had to do - or in this case literally all the things she was carrying.

We tackle the ways labels serve us and also harm us, the ways our body intervenes when we get stuck in people pleasing, and the opportunity for magnificence that comes in midlife.

In this episode we touch on some strategies, mindset shifts, and therapy concepts that dramatically shift how we feel when we get stuck. Things like the concept of our future self as a different person, internal family systems, and *stardust* (you have to listen to episode to get the good stuff on this one).
