This 10-minute meditation invites you to slow down, breathe deeply, and ground yourself in the present moment as you prepare for whatever comes next. Through intentional breathing, we’ll explore how the easiest, sunniest days are often when the deepest work is happening—growing roots strong enough to weather the storm.

Use this time to come back to yourself, strengthen your roots, and remember that being present today is part of preparing for tomorrow.

Hello, my friend, and welcome to this meditation. After you find a comfortable seat, we'll begin with a deep breath in and exhale. Welcome yourself into this moment. Feel your body ease into stillness. Notice your shoulders gently lower down from your ears. The muscles in your face begin to relax. Nothing you need to do besides being right here, right now in this moment. Breathe in and release as we breathe in again, begin to notice the sensation of the air moving through your nose, down your throat, into your lungs, causing your stomach to expand. As we exhale, feel the air push out of your lungs, up through your throat, and out your mouth. Breathing in, noticing the temperature of the air as it enters your nostrils. How the air is dry and cool. Exhaling, noticing the air is warm and moist as it leaves your mouth. Another inhale, seeing what else you can notice about the sensation of breathing in. Focusing on the sensation of breathing in and breathing out, spending moments of stillness like this helps us root down in who we are. It strengthens us emotionally, physically. Allows us to prepare for when life may get bumpy. Envision yourself as a great oak tree. These trees seem like they are doing the least amount of work on the sunniest days. It seems that their only job is to be. Bring your attention back to the space that you're in. And when you're ready, slowly open your eyes and return to the rest of your day. I see you. I love you. Until next time.
