Tonight, write your own declaration of independence—not from a country, but from the patterns, fears, habits, obligations, and identities that have kept you in bondage. Before the day ends, name what you are no longer available for, and decide what freedom now requires from you.

Welcome back to Night Shift with Justin S. King, How to Transform Your Life One Night at a Time. Night is July 4th, independence day here in the United States. And I am wondering if you have ever declared your freedom. Not too long ago, I was doing a coaching group, and you declare what the things in your life that are keeping you in bondage, where you feel stuck. And you make a plan where you decide what will get you out of that. What would freedom like to you in four areas of your life? Your body, your your relationships, your spirituality, and your finances. After doing that, what I did was I wrote my own declaration of independence. Around this time, there was also a thought that came to me during a group coaching session, and I believe we were studying events in the Bible. And the thought was this God has delivered his people from bondage time and time again. Why not you? So tonight, if you have time or tomorrow, take time to ponder what freedom would look like to you and write a declaration of independence. I will read a part of the declaration which I wrote at that time. This is my declaration of independence to let go of the man I was being. This is my declaration of war to reveal the man I am. This is my commitment to go all in. This is my acceptance of freedom. I lay claim on my birthright of prosperity. I commit to removing any incongruent thoughts, words, and actions of the man I declare I am. I live by the code, I defy the devil within. I refuse to accept reasons in place of results. I will not give up on pursuing the tangible verification and physical evidence that I have won my game. The only thing that will stop me is death or the undeniable voice declaring it is enough. I commit to surrendering, moving forward with faith, and will let the details be revealed as necessary. I do not expect the rise to be faster than the fall. If I do not have the results, I do not understand the rules. The deal is the deal, and the deal is with God. My possible game, declaration of independence. So that's tonight's shift. Contemplate what freedom looks like to you and write a simple declaration of independence. For tonight's episode of Night Shift, my name is Justin S. King, and I help entrepreneurs find peace tonight, tomorrow, and for the rest of their lives through sleep optimization, emotion regulation, and discovering their purpose. Good night.
