Hi guys. Welcome to Life in Motion. My name is Elias and I'm a personal trainer here in Austin, Texas. This has been a long time coming and I'm super happy to have you here. While there are more than 5 million active podcasts worldwide, I'm excited to present to you guys a resource to help support your life in and outside of the gym. I love my profession. I really do love my work and it's thanks to this and mentors in the field that I started life in motion. There's a ton of fitness noise out there, and while it's awesome that we're in no shortage of information, welcome to 2026. There's almost so much that you can get overwhelmed. I know I do, and it's literally my job to stay up to date with things, but of course we know not everything out there is accurate. Every few weeks I'll be interviewing experts in the field of health and wellness around the Austin, Texas area to talk about the science and practices of themes related to health. It's not that we have the information that the rest of the world doesn't. It's more like, Hey, don't forget this. Or if there's something you already do, this is why you should keep doing it. At the end of the day, this is your life. You call the shots, and life in motion is a resource while you do what you do. Some people are training for events, some play sports. There's that wedding coming up, or you just had a baby. Some people just want to train because they would literally go crazy if they didn't spoiler alert. There's a lot of things out there that will make you go crazy. So if something as little as walking keeps you from going crazy, great. Do that. Life in Motion isn't a specific program or style of training. It's more of a filter for decision making. Do what you love. Be who you are for as long as you can. If your goal is keeping up with the grandkids, watching the Cowboys win a Super Bowl in 40 years. And that's ambitious. Getting out of a car, running a marathon, not falling down, losing the weight, swimming, golfing, hiking, playing with the dogs, whatever keeps you going. At the end of the day, the goal isn't to train like someone else, it's to train in a way that keeps your life moving forward. Every episode we'll talk about strength, endurance, recovery, sleep, nutrition, all of it. And I'm focusing on conversations with people here in Austin, doctors, coaches, dieticians, trainers, because real advice works best when it fits real lives. Next episode, I'll be sitting down with the man who literally helped start my fitness journey and I can't wait to talk to him. Life in motion is about keeping your body aligned with the life you want to live. We all live different lives, and it is a pleasure to be a resource in your life. Thanks for listening. This is Life in Motion. Okay.
