For decades, women have been told they can have it all.

A successful career. A thriving family. A clean house. A full social life. Time for self care. Time for everyone else.

And when it all feels impossible, the advice is almost always the same: get organized, manage your time better, set better boundaries, become more resilient.

But what if the problem isn't your planner?

In this episode, we sit down with Amanda Duncan, founder of Chiara Consulting, to unpack a difficult truth. The systems women live and work within were never designed with them in mind, or even with their participation.

We explore the invisible labor women carry, the mental load that follows them everywhere, and the damaging belief that struggling means you're somehow failing. We discuss why so many women blame themselves for circumstances that were impossible from the start, and what becomes possible when we stop treating systemic problems like personal shortcomings.

This conversation is not about becoming more efficient. It's about recognizing when you've been asked to succeed inside conditions that were never designed to support you.

The goal isn't to adapt endlessly to broken systems. The goal is to stop blaming yourself for them.
