Welcome to the grounding room. I'm Christina, and I'm gonna guide you into a sleep meditation designed to rest and restore the body. When you're ready, find a comfortable position that feels natural to you. Let your arms rest by your sides or gently on your stomach. Allow your legs to fall open slightly. Allow your lower back to relax and adjust anything you need to so that you can be completely comfortable. And when you're ready, softly close your eyes. Take a slow, deep breath in through your nose, and gently exhale through your mouth. Again, breathe in, filling your lungs with oxygen, and exhale, letting go of the day. One more time, take a slow, full inhale all the way into your stomach and a long exhale, releasing any stressors that existed today. Now allow your breathing to return to its natural rhythm, and know that you can drift off at any time during this meditation. Simply notice the rise and fall of your chest. The gentle rhythm that continues effortlessly as you breathe in and out naturally. Start at the very top of your head, noticing your scalp and your forehead, and your eyebrows. If there's any tension here, imagine it melting away, letting your forehead smooth out, and your eyebrows soften as you drift off. Allow your eyes to rest heavily in their sockets. The eyelids are soft and relaxed, and there's nothing to see and nowhere to go. And if you feel any tightness here, allow it to dissolve. Notice your shoulders, and if you feel like they're carrying the weight of the day, let them drop. Imagine that weight sliding off of you like a heavy coat you no longer need. Bring your attention down into your arms, allowing them to soften your elbows, your forearms, your wrists, and your hands all the way down into the fingers. Let your fingers be loose and at ease. Let it rise naturally as you breathe in, and fall effortlessly as you breathe out. Bring your awareness to your lower back. If there's any tension, imagine it dissolving into the surface below you, completely supported. Now your hips heavy and sinking down, letting them release completely. Slowly bring your attention back to your breath without changing anything. Just allow each inhale gently arriving, and each exhale gently leaving. Whatever feels the most calming and soothing to you. Take a moment to picture it clearly, noticing the colors, the textures, the gentle sounds that surround you. Perhaps there's a soft breeze, or the distant sound of water. Everything here is calm, and everything here is safe. In this place, there is no to-do list. There is nothing expected of you. No responsibilities, no worries. Simply rest. Imagine yourself slowly walking through this place. Each step is effortless. The ground beneath you feels soft and supportive. And as you walk, you feel lighter, more at ease. With every step, the day fades further and further away. Up ahead, you see a place to rest. Move towards it slowly, and when you arrive, gently lie down. Feel how comfortable this is, like it was perfectly made for you. As you settle in, notice how your body feels even heavier now, as if gravity itself is gently pulling you into a deep rest. Your breath is slow and steady. Your mind is quiet and has nothing to worry about. And it brings a wave of calm. Leaving behind a deep, peaceful, relaxing heaviness guiding you into rest. Your body is completely at ease. Your breath is slow. Your body is heavy. Your mind is quiet. There is nothing to think about, nothing to do, nowhere to go, but drift into a peaceful sleep. Allow the night to take you, to let you drift fully into it. You are safe. You are calm. You have to eat and nothing to do. But allow your body to restore the energy and relax. Allow yourself to keep drifting further and further. Allow your dreams to take you wherever they may.
