The Power of Protein
Protein is the main building block of muscle. It is used to create body tissue, aids in satiety which means you feel full longer and tend to eat less calories. It promotes production of hormones & neurotransmitters and is required for white blood cell function (which fights infection & disease).
Protein is the prime ingredient to build long, lean muscle mass over time. It's important to consistently eat the right amount of protein to build tone & muscle.
Protein is a macronutrient powerhouse. For these reasons and more, we need to include protein in our diets, but let's not forget to focus on the best quality protein in the right amounts for our individual needs. In this podcast we explore some suggestions for how to include the best quality and quantity of protein to suit your individual needs.
