Isaac Morgado’s gym content system generates 140+ leads per month.
In this episode of “Run a Profitable Gym,” John Franklin sits down with Isaac to break down his exact Monday-morning process for batching a full week of lead-generating content.
Isaac explains why he shifted away from trend-chasing reels toward value-based, saveable content, and he reveals the main content buckets he rotates through.
He also shares how his personal brand is starting to outperform the gym page, and how paid ads (including a surprisingly cheap Hyrox campaign) work alongside organic content to build trust before someone ever fills out a form.
Tune in to get a simple framework for turning one piece of long-form content into a week’s worth of leads-generating posts.

There are gym owners who open Instagram wondering, what am I gonna post today? And then there's a small subset of gym owners who spend 90 minutes planning out their content for the week so they can spend the rest of their time growing their gym. Today we're gonna profile the ladder because that's how you generate leads on autopilot. Most gym owners aren't lazy when it comes to content, they're just reactive. They scramble to get something out every single day, and it feels like this frenetic process where it's like a lot of effort for not a lot of result. And today I'm gonna sit down with Isaac Mergado, a gym owner who built a content system that generates his gym 140 leads a month. And he didn't start out like this. He started reactive like the rest of us, but he put a system together block by block by block by block, and he's gonna share it with all of us. I'm John Franklin, I'm the CEO of Two Brain Business, we're the world's largest gym mentorship company, working with over 3,500 gym owners to generate six figures and take home pay because yes, it is possible. And today, Isaac's breaking down his full content system, what he posts, where he posts, when he posts, and how you can take that and make it your own. Let's get into it. Isaac, today we're gonna break down the content system that you guys are using to get five times the amount of leads as the average gym. First, congratulations. And second, before you even speak, I'm gonna read out what you guys are doing. You are doing paid ads, you're doing one to three Instagram posts a week, you're doing four planned Instagram stories a day, one to two blogs a week, one to two emails a week, one podcast a week, and on your personal page, four stories a day and one to two posts a week. And before you click that X button, gym owner, know that he did not start out like this. So talk to me, man. That sounds like a mouthful, that sounds overwhelming.
SPEAKER_00Like, where did you start? Yeah, so and full transparency, that's something that's really been implemented probably within the last year. This isn't been something that we've been doing forever. And it's just made the workflow a lot easier. So, just like most gym owners, we started naturally just posting stories on our Instagram. We were always very aware of branding. Like, I wanted things to look good on our page. I would always try to take like high-quality photos with a decent camera for posts. We didn't have this crazy structure. We didn't have planned out posts. Stories were very much reactive, not proactive. And we kind of made that change over the past two years, but really dialed in the process over the past year. Um, and it's just made things a lot easier. Rather than stressing out about like, what am I going to post today? It's literally I look at my note sheet and it's like, okay, at this time, you're gonna plan these posts for the next week. And it just has actually made the planning and social mediaing a lot easier and more seamless for us.
JohnSo we just rattled off a lot of platforms. What I'm hearing is Instagram is kind of like the centerpiece of what you do on both the organic and the paid side. For sure. Okay, so then let's walk through your Instagram posting schedule because you said you used to be like me, where you get to the computer and you're like, what am I gonna post about today? Which is uh, you know, if if it starts late in the day, that could be a miserable experience, and every uh person who creates content consistently has been there. But you're saying the system is part of what has made the whole thing easier for you. So talk me through your like posting schedule. Yeah. And how you think about that.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. So usually what will happen is um Monday morning, that's like my GSD day. Uh, so I'll sit down and I'll open up Facebook Content Planner. I'll have my notes app sort of open in front of me as well, and then I'll just blast through my pre-planned stories for the next week. So I have I have Canva open up and I have different Canvas story templates. So I'll have a template for member love, a template for fitness tips, a template for blog posts, like all of these different things that constantly get posted throughout the week. And then that way makes it really simple. Where, okay, I know our podcast that we usually record Thursday, Fridays. We'll do a bunch of posts Monday, Wednesday, Friday for it. So I'll create all those and I'll schedule them ahead of time. And I'll do the same thing for all of my pre-planned posts. So member love that goes up once a week on Thursdays at 5 p.m. We have a motivational quote that goes out every single day, 7 p.m. Monday to Sunday. So it's just like it's all in front of me. It's all planned out ahead of time. And those Canva templates make it really, really simple. We're like, I don't need to worry about creating this new graphic. It's literally there and I change like a picture and I'll change the scene, and that's really it.
JohnSo you know it's like every Wednesday at such and such time, you're gonna post a picture and it's just rotating Steve one day, Sally one day, that's right, Jeff the other day.
SPEAKER_00That's right. And the key is it's all pre-planned. Like it's in the Facebook content scheduler where on Wednesday at 7 p.m., I'm not like, okay, hey Mateo, my son, wait up. I know you're trying to talk to me. I gotta bank this post. It's all planned ahead of time, uh, which is you know, it's nice from like a work-life balance sort of standpoint.
JohnSo in that Monday, that Monday GSD block, the goal is just to do the pre-planned stories. That's that's the focus. Pretty much.
SPEAKER_00And how many of those will you do in that block? Yeah. So I'll usually get it all done. Um, it'll take me anywhere from like an hour to 90 minutes. All done, meaning the four a day for the entire week.
JohnYes. Okay. So you'll bang out like 28 stories in an hour, two hours? How long does that take?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, about like 90 minutes. Okay. An hour to 90 minutes. Okay. Depending, like, you know, if I have to create some new podcast clips, that might take a little bit longer. But that's all done through Opus Clips and AI. So it keeps things pretty simple. Um, but yeah, like to create or to c to um schedule all that content doesn't take that long. And because I have those templates, the creation side of things is pretty fairly quick as well. And they're all static stories or is any of that video so the podcast to get a little bit in the weeds here. So the nice thing about the content scheduler is you can put pre-planned pre-planned links in there. Yep. I don't know if that's always been a thing, but I feel like it hasn't. So if I do a blog post, I can put a link that's going to link directly to the blog post on the website. Um, but you can't put a link on a video. So what we've done to get around that is I'll have like a static image of myself and my co-host on the podcast. There'll be a link there. And then the next story will be a video that was created by Opus Clips. So, and I can't have a link on that one, but it's on the one before or the one after.
JohnAnd we'll talk about the podcast here shortly, but just so people understand, Opus Clips is just a software that will watch the podcast and make little clippables that you can share on social without a ton of extra work, right? Exactly. Okay, awesome. And so let's go through this. So you you got the motivational quote that's every single day. Yes. And that's just you're just ripping on the internet looking for something that you you got a backlog somewhere.
SPEAKER_00Pretty much, yeah. Like full transparency. We'll use Chat GPT for that. I have ones that I've created that I love. And then it's like, hey, can you give me some quotes like this? And then I'll just look through them and be like, that's really not us. This is us. So uh I always want to kind of feel like it's coming from our gym because we do have a voice that we speak with.
JohnOkay. And then fun educational reels. So that's just like, here's how to deadlift, here's how to fix your posture, here's how to whatever.
SPEAKER_00Yep, yep, exactly. Some of that, like we will do uh like a lot of fun games and stuff with our members. So we'll repost old reels from there as well. Um, but we just try to keep things lighthearted to show the fun side of our gym as well, not just like the you gotta come in and do a deadlift. It's hey, come in and meet our coaches.
JohnOoh, uh, went into the reels there. So yeah, talk to me. You said it was uh let's talk through the stories. So you got the podcast clips. Yeah, you got the quotes.
SPEAKER_00Yep. Uh what do what what are the other ones, the other, the other buckets that you think through? Yeah. So fitness tips is one. Member love is another big one. So member love is literally just like highlighting one of our members, something to cool that they've been doing. Yep. Um, that is like very shareable content, which is great. That's like free paid ads for us in a sense. Yep. And then we'll do blog posts, podcast clips that get sent. Um, and then we'll have, I think you already said it, but like something fun, like fun reels. We're also playing around with new things as well, which would be um like breaking myths and breaking beliefs. So we actually have, I think a story that's up right now where it'll be like excuses that we commonly hear in sales meetings. So uh, you know, I I can't afford this, I don't have time for this, and then we have objections to uh, or we have things that we'll do to overcome those objections. So kind of like breaks that belief for some of those people.
JohnSo you're pre-selling basically. 100%. And we have like six to seven buckets that we're rotating through. You got it. And that's the story schedule. So it's done. You just crank all that out, one one go, and then we're good for stories.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, that's all proactive. And then if there's reactive things, our coach wants to post uh whatever people working out or there's something funny at the gym, we'll do that as well. Okay, awesome.
JohnBy the way, we created a free custom GPT that will audit your gym's Instagram and identify spots in your social presence that may be costing you leads. If you want to try it out, click the link below or scan this QR code and keep watching as we reveal the other mistakes and how to fix them. And then in terms of actual like feed posts, you said that is two to three a week on the gym page? Yeah, one to three, usually two to three.
SPEAKER_00Okay. And how do you think about that? Is there a system there? Yeah, so that's been changing actually within the past month. Um, so I've been a lot more uh consistent on like my personal brand on my page, Isaac Domargato. Shout out. Uh but um what we've done is so we used to do like a lot of fun reels, and it would take forever to create that content. And the reach would be decent. Um, but like I don't know if we were really talking to our people. So we've kind of focused a little bit more on carousels lately. Yeah. And I think this was something that you were telling me, which like completely changed the way I create content, which is thinking like what would be saveable by people, because that truly means that it's been impactful. So now when we're creating certain pieces of content, especially carol carousels or reels, it's like what would actually cause someone to want to save this post? And then it's just a lot easier to think through that lens. Um, so you know, one of our sort of niches is runners, runners wanting to focus on strength. So it'll be like, hey, save these, save this post if you want to learn the best three strength exercises for runners, and like those get a ton of saves, a ton of shares, brings a lot of people back to our page. And then reels would just be kind of like your your general whatever, this is how you deadlift. Here's some fun stuff.
JohnAlso, value-based, though, is what I'm hearing. Yeah, because uh when you said like fun, you would do like the trending formats, that kind of thing. Yeah, yeah, and and you see those videos tight like pop off, like one will get really popular, and then every type of gym will make it. Yeah, and you know, sure, yeah, you get a hundred thousand impressions, but does anybody buy?
SPEAKER_00So, really quick on that. Sorry. So we uh this was during like COVID times, we had a pretty decent TikTok following, like we had over 55,000 followers on TikTok, and we were just doing a lot of these fun style videos, uh, overrated, underrated, stuff like this. And we were obviously getting a ton of impressions, a ton of views, but that wasn't really converting to sales. So that there sort of changed our ideas of like, all right, I don't want to just have our Instagram full of these fun videos that aren't gonna convert. We actually need to make sure it's we're talking to people, we're giving them valuable content that they want to save, uh, and we're telling them about like what we actually do in our gym.
JohnRight, because fun's only one component when somebody signs up for a gym. Like you ultimately want to transform. And I want to know if I'm gonna train at your gym. Am I gonna blow my back? What type of training you do? Can you actually help me? Do you do you know your stuff? And by shifting your content to stuff that's more value-based, more kind of the stuff you picked up over the last 15 years in the industry, you're saying uh it's led to more dollars in your bank account, right?
SPEAKER_00100%. The fun stuff's great. So people see the culture of our gym and it kind of weeds people out if, like, you know, they look at the stuff we're posting, like, that's really not my style. That's totally cool. I'm sure there's another gym out there for you. Um, so it kind of does help us weed out and find our like perfect seed clients.
JohnSo value-based content, and again, ideas for this guy, it's kind of just answering questions that you get from your prospects or displaying like something comes up over and over and over in sales consultations or questions people have, like you're kind of addressing those, right? Exactly. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00So I'll meet with our sales guys, Luke, and uh, I'll just ask him, like, hey, what are some of the biggest questions that you're getting right now consistently over the past whatever month, two months? And then based off of what he tells me, I'll go and create some content specific for that. Okay. And is that batched?
JohnLike, do you have a like I'm gonna film this week, or since it's one to three, it's just kind of you can do that off the cuff?
SPEAKER_00It's it's it's some days it's batched, but to be honest, that's something we can definitely be better at. I find because we're not doing as much reels or video content, it is a lot easier to just create, you know, a story, like a text-based story or a carousel to those specific things. So it kind of does save me time in that sense. Um, so yeah, but like we don't do too, too much batching of video content right now.
JohnAnd then you personally, you have a four-story a day cadence as well as you said you're a little more active, so two to three feed posts.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, yeah. So my personal page definitely isn't as proactive. Mine's a lot more reactive because I want it to be more of hey, get to know me and how my day rolls. Uh, not like so regimented where I find like that's more so for the gym for a business. So my posts aren't as planned, but I do have a bit of a cadence when it comes to uh my feed posts. So I always try to do like some sort of value-based carousel, something that's gonna get people to save. I'm always gonna do something community-based, uh, and then always do something with like a bigger group. So I run quite a few free community events, like we do a track Tuesday. Run clubs are so in right now. Run clubs, yeah. We've been doing it before. It was cool. But uh yeah, we get about like 50 to 100 people at our track Tuesdays. Yeah. So I'll post pictures of that, and that gets a ton of reach. I collaborate with that on our run club page, sometimes on our movement strength page as well, um, which kind of just helps drive eyeballs to all those different places.
JohnAnd that's exactly like you hit the nail on the head, right? Because a lot of people who are starting with this, it's like, do I post on my personal page? Do I post on the gym page? Do you like if you're someone in that situation, just post. Like that's what you want to do to get started. But you you hit the nail on the head. And with Two Brain, we do the exact same thing. We have a cadence, a schedule for the business, and then for me, it's just hand and mouth. Whatever I'm interested in, whatever I want to talk about, whatever uh, you know, we'll we'll we there's three things that we've talked about in this podcast that I just want to go make a piece of content about. And then the stories are just behind the scenes. And I I've noticed that yours is very much the same. And yeah, so great job on that. You are absolutely crushing it. Um, and and you have partners, right? Yeah, so there's three of us total myself, Will, and Luke. And you are the you're the primary person on social, right?
SPEAKER_00Yes, yeah. Luke and Will, they they do post, but definitely not as consistent as as as myself. I like to highlight Will a lot because Will is like our fitness guy. He's the guy that does all of our programming, he's more of our fulfillment side of saying things, and he's like very blunt, which is very different than me. So it's cool that we all have very different styles. So it's just people Will is the most interesting man in the world. He's like the Dosaki's guy. So he's like our sort of our character on our page sometimes.
JohnAnd your job's to kind of like bring it out of him a little bit. Exactly, exactly. Okay, and so that lends itself to the the next piece, which is the podcast, which it sounds like that you create a bunch of derivative content from that, right? Yes. So let's talk about the podcast.
SPEAKER_00What how does that work? Okay. So uh this one, like you could stop me if I'm gonna ramble because I'm super passionate about this side of things, but we've been doing our podcast for around seven years. Like we started almost right away. There's times we're consistent, sometimes that we're inconsistent. We've been a lot more consistent over the past year, and that's because I've created a workflow that's really, really easy for me. Um, I would do it either interview-based, so like interview certain people in our in our community, whether that be like gym members or just people in London, Ontario. Uh, now I sort of have a co-host, Brooke. She's like really our nutrition individual. She works with a ton of ladies. Um, she's like a superstar. So we'll just jam on something weekly. Sometimes we'll talk about creatine, sometimes it'll be Ozempic, sometimes it'll just be something funny where we're riffing. But the reason that I'm consistent with it is it's very just easy to plan it all. So Thursday or Friday, I'll record our podcast. Um, and like just so people know, this is gonna be an intense setup. Like you were saying, the biggest thing is just start, click record, and go. Uh, but we have a two-camera setup, and the reason we do that is we have a bunch of AI software through Premiere Pro that cuts everything up for us. Like whoever's talking, it'll show their face and it'll go back and forth. We'll upload that video to YouTube. I'll take that YouTube clip, I'll put it into Opus Clips. Opus Clips was that AI content sort of breaker outer that you're talking about. Opus Clips creates all of these like 15 to 30 second little bits. I take the best ones and then I post them on our social media. I actually post them all to YouTube first, and then I see which ones are performing the best on YouTube, and I take those high performers and put them on Instagram. Um, so yeah, like it's an intense bit, but it actually doesn't take me a lot of time. To edit the podcast might take me, I don't know, 10 minutes. It's just a matter of getting the stuff into there. Opus Clips takes three minutes to break it out, it automatically posts to to YouTube. So it's like maybe a 30 to 40 minute process to actually get everything distributed and create like a ton of content.
JohnSo you gave me a lot there. Yeah, sorry. If you are someone who's starting on a long form piece of content, that probably overwhelmed you. Uh to Isaac's point, just start, right? My first pieces of long form content and yours probably too were just like an iPhone and a pretty basic microphone. Yeah. And just start yapping, right? And whether you do it as co-host, member interview, whatever the style is, is the idea is just to get something longer form out because as Isaac said, you can create a bunch of derivative stuff. The hardest part for podcast, um, podcasting that I've found is just the actual like form itself, right? Are you gonna do interview? Are you gonna do talking ahead? Are you gonna go back and forth? And it sounds like you've played with different styles. The fact if you can make that pre-production fast, that's the key to being consistent that I've found. So are you planning, like, oh, this week we're gonna talk about Ozempic and we're gonna interview so and so, or is that what your uh co-host Brooke handles?
SPEAKER_00Uh no, so we'll have certain things that we'll hit on every year, right? So, like a month ago, we know summer's coming, so we have like how to get shredded for the summer, and that's not our brand at all. So, like that brings eyeballs. Like, what the heck are these guys talking about? And then we literally just talk about like eating balanced food. But oftentimes what I'll do as well is I'll go into so I use a lot of different AI platforms. I'll go into Grok just because Grok can pull kind of what's happening in the moment, and I'll ask them what are some trending fitness and health topics. I'll look at those topics, see if any really resonate with our gym, our people, and then I'll take that topic and create whatever, some sort of schedule of what we're gonna talk about. Um, so I do use AI to help me with that, but for the most part, it's just like questions we're hearing from members in the day. Um, if there is something that's really hot and trending, we'll talk about those things as well. Um, yeah.
JohnOkay, perfect. And so that'll go on to YouTube, a podcast platform, and then do you make a derivative, like a blog post and an email about that as well?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, so that will go on uh that'll go on YouTube. We don't like our our we don't have a massive YouTube following. I think we have like maybe 700 followers. That's not the goal. Really, it's only on YouTube, so I can get it on Opus Clips and there's just a video portion of it. Uh, but we load up everything through cre the creator, something, whatever it's like Spotify. It's yeah, free, it costs us nothing. Yeah, and then uh yeah, that piece of content, oftentimes full transparency. I'm not consistent enough with this, but we'll transcribe that into a blog post that will then be sent through an email. But at the very least, what will happen is obviously we're sharing it multiple times on our uh on our Instagram throughout the week, and then it gets shared to our members, um, and then it gets shared on Facebook.
JohnSo from that long form piece of content, it is a video, it is a podcast, it is an email, it is a blog post, it is four three to four stories, yeah, and then maybe a post as well, or that just stays in the stories. It usually stays in stories. We don't do two. We've tried it with posts if it really if it's really good, but usually not. Okay. And so that's the beauty of making a longer form piece of content. It creates all this downstream stuff.
SPEAKER_00And it's very easy. What once again with Opus clips, like it just makes it super simple. Um yeah, so it's it's not overly intimidating. Okay.
JohnAnd then so the missing pieces here of the puzzle is there may be another email and another blog post. So let's talk about that.
SPEAKER_00Yep. So um, I'll be honest, when it comes to blog posts, we we we uh goal is to do one per week. Let's say we do maybe three a month. Um, what we've found or what I've found is it's like I create a blog post just to have another kind of fishing pole out into the water. Um, but in terms of long form long form content, if I had to choose before between blog or podcast, I'm just much more comfortable on a podcast. That's kind of where I put more of my energy. But a blog post is just you know, it's something that we've have had a few pop off. I did one about a hernia, like I had an umbelical hernia, and it was so specific, and it got like 700 uh opens, and I'm like, we've never like our blogs are like one or five people will read them. So there is something there, like they're they can have some reach, um, but it's definitely not a massive focus we have. It is an area of opportunity. And then with emails, it's the same thing. We have a massive email list because we do a ton of paid ads as well, which drive a lot of traffic back into our CRM. Um, but yeah, we we send about an email per week, and then obviously there's quite a bit of automated emails that that will be sent out to people as well. But there's usually one proactive email that will be sent out to our entire lead list once per week. And then we have we speak directly to our members around once every two weeks.
JohnSo that we we've covered it all. So it sounds like uh we've covered it all the organic. We'll go to the page next. Yeah, but it sounds like the center. pieces of the strategy are the one long form piece. So for you it's a podcast. For others it can be like a talking head video. So that that seems to be like if if you were to do one thing, uh that would be the one. Yep. And then the secondary piece is that 90 minute sprint you have uh on Monday morning to put out 28 stories. So you're always popping up on people's stories, right? Yep. So those two things are kind of the the things that most bang for your buck. For sure.
SPEAKER_00For sure. And I'm starting to realize personal brand might even be above those two things because just right now I'm getting a lot more eyeballs on my personal brand. So if I focus on that and drive people back to our business that just helps as well.
JohnA hundred percent I would I would do a personal brand before a gym Instagram um but yeah so from the gym standpoint and then personal brand is just you know showing the work. Yes, exactly. Right. Okay. Perfect. And if we had to put a time spent on all this this big pile of stuff what how much time are you spending a week on this?
SPEAKER_00I mean realistically I would probably say I know this is a big range uh but five to 10 hours. I think it can be done faster. But because it's the main portion of my job, I'm blessed to have partners that take care of other parts of the business. I can spend more time there. And you know if I wanted to spend even more than 10 hours per week I definitely can. But the more of a system you have the more like it's really spelt out for you the faster that you can make all that stuff happen. So if you're like how the heck are you doing this in five or 10 hours? It's probably because you don't really have a system in place and you're like you're spending hours just guessing what you're going to post whereas something just tells me exactly what I need to post.
JohnAnd that will produce about 70 qualified leads for the organic piece a month. Yep. Every month yeah okay and what do you what do you consider to be like a lead?
SPEAKER_00Yeah so anything that comes into our CRM like if I get a follow or a like that is not a lead uh but if I get someone's first name if I get their email if I get a phone number like that is a lead. It's something in our system someone that I can physically talk to. Okay. Perfect.
JohnAnd so that's like half you get 70 from that you get another 70 leads a month from paid. Let's talk about what you're doing there.
SPEAKER_00Yeah and you know I think it's important to talk about too like we we do quite a bit of paid advertising and I'm a firm believer that people will see our ad. They might not click on it because they're like I don't is this real is this fake they'll go to our Instagram they'll check us out they'll be like these guys are really cool and then they'll go to our website and they'll fill out a website form and now they're they're organic. So like I do feel that a lot of our organic leads do still come from played path paid platforms. But that's just kind of the name of the game right like we want to be omnipresent and having multiple fishing pools in the water is going to be how we get as many leads as possible. So we get 70 organic but like I believe a lot of those organic were driven from paid. Right.
JohnBut you give yourself opportunities to pop up right so they may see an ad, the logo they're not going to interact with it, but you know, through one of these other 50 60 pieces of derivative content you're making every single week you're just giving yourself opportunities for that person to raise their hand.
SPEAKER_00Organic content is is making us credible so you know if I was starting a gym I'm not necessarily going to just start with paid ads. I want to make sure I have a place where they can come and see us and see that we're real people. Yeah. So we for paid ads we mainly go through Facebook so Facebook, Instagram and Google. We've played around with different platforms TikTok stuff like that. We just didn't really see a great bang for our buck. So mainly Google and Facebook is where we're spending the most of our monies.
JohnAnd what's the offer there? Is it brand ads? Are you doing some type of challenge?
SPEAKER_00What's the so Google is brand ads. Yep. Um there's no like direct call to action it's more of like we focus on gym near me, that kind of thing. Exactly weight loss things like that. Just Google ad words and then that will bring them to our website and then our website through Kilo it converts really well. So they'll hit a button on our website and we'll get all their information that way. Through Facebook um it's more of like hey we're looking for 15 people 10 people whatever it may be. It's specifically target targeted via gender as well so it'll be speaking to specifically to men specifically to women we have legends ads for men and women and then in May or last month we've started some high rocks ads as well which like it's ridiculous. It's like the wild we're getting one to two dollar leads. And that's Canadian dollars? Yeah sorry so that's yeah I know that's what is that 10 cents American or something like that?
JohnThat is wild. Yeah um and and you have a huge advantage because you're a brand you run clubs and you're like a Lulu ambassador and you're kind of like known for that in your town so you kind of have like a little bit of an edge.
SPEAKER_00For sure for sure for sure. So yeah I think last month we had around 40 to 50 leads come through high rocks and that's like a it's we're we're we're marketing or selling a specific high rocks camp. So it's not like come try out high rocks. It's like no we are looking to sell this thing so people know when they give us their information they're going to be buying something. So um we've generated around $4,000 or so um just from our high rocks ad so far. On how much ad spend? We were spending I think it was around eighty dollars last month. $80 generated $4,000.
JohnYeah. You should probably spend a little more ad set for men ad set for women within that there's general legends uh so you have like an age specific yes uh ad you have age specific ads you have um just like gen pop yeah and then now you're testing uh like modality specific so like a high rox ad so okay sports specific cool and what's total spend between ad words and meta uh it is 2500 so you're doing 2500 for all the and then you have you know an Opus subscription like yeah probably another few hundred bucks and for sure for sure yeah opus actually I don't know what the cost it's not it's not crazy 20 30 bucks I think you can get a free one like you don't need to do the paid one but we do the paid one so basically under $3,000 a month is generating about 140 leads for you.
SPEAKER_00Yes yes and it's like last month we had 170 leads because we've since we've launched high rocks now it's up to 170. I just don't want to say last month was 170 but realistically averaged out from January to now so for the past five months uh equals out to be around 150 to 155 but that's trending up with these high rocks ads from a lot of gym owners we hear um you know everything would be fine if I could just get more bodies in the door, get more leads.
JohnSo if a gym owner is talking to you saying hey I'm struggling to get leads what are you telling them?
SPEAKER_00Yeah so it's I don't want to say more leads are going to solve all of your problems because we have a ton of leads but it's not like we're converting every single one of those individuals. So for us it's really about playing the long game where a lot of the people that are coming in to buy aren't necessarily people that clicked on that ad today or gave us our information yesterday. It's people that we've been nurturing over a long time through the content that we've created on our Instagram through emails through all those things. So I think the biggest thing for people to do is just start creating content now. Have that presence create your blogs do your do your podcasts like try to make yourself a credible source in your city so then people know when they do check you out there's all of this stuff that they can they can look at and be like oh these guys actually know what they're talking about. Do the thing.
JohnSo for the struggling gym owner who doesn't know where to start like they're hearing this and it's just going over their heads they don't know all the stuff you're rattling out.
SPEAKER_00They just need to take one step like what is that first step you're telling them to take yeah so I would sit down give yourself an hour go to your notes app and actually create your posting schedule of what you want it to be from Monday to Sunday. So Monday create all of your pre-planned posts maybe it's only one doesn't need to be what I'm doing for per day but it's like okay every Monday I'm gonna do a member shout out and then that's it. That's your member shout out for Monday. Tuesday I'm gonna do a post about whatever some sort of fitness tip. Wednesday it's gonna be this Thursday it's gonna be this like actually create your schedule keep it really simple. Don't create the schedule that you can't stay consistent to maybe it's not every single day. Maybe you start with three days per week but have something and when you can execute on that start to build the blocks on it. Maybe every two weeks you're adding some complexity to the plan but create the plan put specific days and put specific times that's it.
