What if your life is simply reflecting the frequency you’re broadcasting?
In this powerful episode, I sit down with Steve Linton—former U.S. Marine, professional pilot, and world-class skydiver with over 17,000 jumps—whose journey took him from sleeping in his car to earning a six-figure month in under six months.

Steve’s core message is both simple and confronting: frequency drives results. Change your internal signal, and your patterns, relationships, and income must follow.

We explore frequency not just as a spiritual concept, but as physics plus pattern—vibration reinforced through repetition. Steve shares how a persistent “why me?” mindset kept him trapped in cycles of struggle, even after earning two degrees. The turning point came when a mentor delivered a blunt truth: your attitude is the engine. From there, everything changed.

In this conversation, Steve breaks down the exact tools he used to rebuild his life:

  • Rewriting identity before changing behaviour
  • Present-tense “contracts” with himself to reprogram the subconscious
  • Visualisation that makes success feel normal, not distant
  • Gratitude practiced with emotional charge—not surface-level positivity
  • And the unglamorous but essential truth: mindset without action changes nothing

We also dive into self-image psychology, subconscious conditioning, and why protecting your environment—and your circle—matters, especially when doubt comes from those closest to you. Steve shares grounded, repeatable practices you can apply immediately: morning and evening affirmations, sensory-rich visualisation, upgrading your environment, serving others to shift state, and executing quietly while your goals are still forming.

This episode is about discipline over drama, clarity over chaos, and the unwavering decision not to quit.
If you’re ready for a reset around money, purpose, health, or direction, this conversation offers a practical roadmap to turn belief into behaviour—and behaviour into real-world results.

A Raw Invitation To Change

SPEAKER_00

Hey, before we begin, I just wanted to let you know that this conversation is deeply inspiring. It's incredibly human. It's a little raw and it's very real. And if you're going through anything, if you're stuck or unsure about what to do next, then this episode is for you, and you're going to want to listen to it the whole way through. Hello and welcome to the James Grantrum Podcast Super Solar Model Series. This week's guest is Steve Linton. Steve is a transformational speaker, author of the book The Frequency of Success. He has a background as a US Marine, professional pilot, world-class guide over with over 17,000 jumps. Steve understands pressure, precision, and peak performance at a very high level. His journey from homelessness to extraordinary success is rooted in core truth. Success isn't just about luck, it's about frequency. So it gives me great pleasure to welcome this week's guest, Steve Linton.

SPEAKER_01

Hey James, thanks for having me on.

Defining Frequency And Vibration

SPEAKER_00

What really excites me with this conversation is your journey of doing 17,000 skydive jumps, being a professional pilot. You know, some of us will never get to experience any of that, but it seems as though you've had a very full life so far. And what leads me to my first question is this word frequency, and you use it in your book, you know, The Frequency of Success. Some people have got different ideas. What does that mean to you, the word frequency?

SPEAKER_01

Well, I guess you could say frequency is what do they call it, a double entendre? I mean, you've got frequency, and that would be like the wavelength, the rate at which the sound waves vibrate. That's a frequency. But you can also look at it as how often something reoccurs. Well, they both apply. And uh I didn't set out to become a transformational speaker. I didn't set out to have this desire to help people. I had a desire to save myself. I got out of college and I couldn't even afford to take care of myself, let alone, you know, get married, have a family. And so this all started just simply by trying to resolve how do I make my life work? How do I get out of this stuck place? And that's how I kind of stumbled into the whole realm of frequency. And again, a simple law of physics, like frequencies attract. And it became clear after uh some conversations with uh a mentor that uh I had to change my vibration in order to attract different results because light frequencies attract, and it became clear to me that my frequency was really, really low. Right. And I did that because all I was attracting was the were these low frequency results, and it it went all through my life, it went through my personal life. I didn't have a business, finances were terrible, so I wasn't attracting anything there, and you know, just life in general was in there.

SPEAKER_00

So when we hear the word low frequency, it means like red lights in your life. Does it mean like troubles and trials and tribulations? It's just continuation because some people will understand the word frequency, some people may understand the word vibration, and and some may not understand any.

Sliding Into Homelessness

SPEAKER_01

Vibration is the actual event of frequency. Everything in our world, in our universe, is matter vibrating at a particular frequency, and that's everything from the furniture to the lights to your thoughts to your speech, it's all matter vibrating at a frequency. The higher the frequency, the more powerful it is. The lower the frequency, the less powerful it is. And when I say that, I mean if you get stuck in a low frequency, low vibratory frequency, you're not going to attract anything good because that simple law of physics is going to attract a bunch of negative junk and stuff that you don't want. You've heard of people sitting around thinking about, well, I need to get out of debt. You know, your subconscious mind hears debt and says, Oh, this person wants more debt. I'll give it to them. It becomes very, very important to know where you're vibrating and what you're attracting in your life. And that's the thing that most people miss is that situational awareness to know where they're at at any given time.

SPEAKER_00

I guess that that word awareness is one of the first things you need in order to know where you are, so you know where you want to go. If I may, Steve, can we just cast your mind a little bit back to this homelessness? I know it's a really challenging part of your life, but I guess what makes your story a great story is being able to share how you came back, how you created extraordinary success, how you took all the things that you've learned and applied them in your life, and now you're helping millions of people. But I guess that it's just that understanding point of like, how did you find yourself in the car? How did you find yourself homeless? And then what did you do about it? Because there may be some people listening or watching is just thinking, God, that's my life right now. What do I need to do to turn this around?

The Mentor And The Mindset Switch

SPEAKER_01

And I will tell you how I got there, and then you know, I'll answer your question how I got out of that. And the simple answer to how I got there was literally letting myself stay in this funk, this negative vibratory environment where all I was doing was thinking negative thoughts, attracting negative results. I get out of college, you know, I'd spent almost$100,000 at that time on two degrees. I had a bachelor's, a master's. I did all my flight ratings so you know I could pursue my career as a professional pilot. And thought I was on my way. Well, the reality was is that that time nobody was hiring. The airline or pilot market at that time in the early mid-90s was terrible. The only people that were getting jobs as you know pilots were ex-military guys getting out or people that were willing to pay for their own training, which was not an option for me. So for a long time I didn't have a job. And you know, I would stay with friends and ended up sleeping in my car. Uh you know, and there was a point where I was literally eating out of trash cans because I had no place to live, I had no money, and all I could bring to my mind was negativity of anger of why is this happening to me? And I would look around and I would see all these people driving nice cars, you know, living in nice neighborhoods. And I understood that that's materialistic stuff, but at the same time, why am I stuck here? And it wasn't until my mentor, a gentleman that introduced me to personal development, said, you know what your problem is, problem is your attitude. You've got to change your vibration. And I didn't even know what that meant. But he he gave me some suggestions on where to start. And I started reading some Bob Proctor.

SPEAKER_00

And uh Can I just say, just before you tell us that wonderful story, I mean, I'm amazed that you even found a mentor whilst you're in that challenging, in your words, low vibrational state. I mean, that is a that's a miracle. Because, you know, these things you you might not even have access to anything in that state. You might only have access to other homeless people, or you might have access to being in a in a challenging environment that's very uncomfortable. But to actually have a mentor or attract a mentor, in your words, in that low frequency state, you know, I feel like you're being looked upon there. I feel like you're being blessed.

SPEAKER_01

Well, and I will tell you that, you know, it was it was interesting because I was flipping through the paper classified and newspaper classified ads, looking for a day job that I could do to make some extra money. And I stumbled across this ad that said, work from home, earn thousands weekly. And I thought, oh, that's probably one of those scams. But I went ahead and called the number, and it was the gentleman that placed the ad that became my mentor. And he's the one that suggested, you gotta you gotta change your attitude because you're never gonna get anywhere. And we started working together, it was in a network marketing company, and I'm at first I wasn't having any success. And he would coach me and mentor me on not the sales aspect, but the mental aspect of how do I get from this negative place to positivity? And he said, You're never gonna make money until you make this switch. And so I started applying some of those principles and those techniques and really getting into the the Bob Proctor and the Wayne Dyer and Mark Victor Hansen and several authors. And I thought, well, maybe I should give this stuff a chance because it's clearly not working the way I'm doing it, the way I'm choosing to live right now. And uh, it was quite astonishing how quickly my life changed.

Affirmations, Visuals, And Action

SPEAKER_00

So, what was the time frame from you being in a car to you calling that ad to you turning your life around?

SPEAKER_01

Probably four four to six weeks, probably really sat down and and said, I'm gonna give this stuff a chance. I began to apply this in my personal life and and and in business. You know what? I started making sales.

SPEAKER_00

So it was it within about six weeks or so you were making sales, is that right?

SPEAKER_01

Right.

SPEAKER_00

Okay. And from your car.

SPEAKER_01

From my car.

SPEAKER_00

No, because it's quite nice to just understand, really, you know, the depth of where you're at to going, hey, I turned things around from being in my car.

SPEAKER_01

Well, the big blessing there was my mentor, Brent. He allowed me to come to his house and stay at his house until I made enough money that I could get my own place. And I got super excited when I started making sales. And I think I was only making three three thousand dollars a month, but that was three thousand dollars a night that I didn't have the month before. Yeah. And uh he said, he looked at me and he laughed and he said, The more money you make, the more money you make. And that wasn't greed, that was uh a prime example of the law of physics that we're talking about. Yeah, because in order to make that money, I had to make that vibratory shift. I had to raise my vibration so that my results would start to match. And as soon as that happened, my subconscious mind started to go, oh, this is our new reality. We're gonna be successful. And the more I worked on me, the more my subconscious mind said, oh, this is the new reality, and starts putting opportunities in your path. And within six months, I had my first six-figure month.

SPEAKER_00

I mean, it's absolutely fascinating. There was one thing that you said, Steve, you kind of spoke a little down on it, but the material, like looking in the nice neighborhoods, looking at nice cars. We live in a material world and we need material things in order to make our life comfortable. Because without them, we wouldn't have a washer or a dryer or you know, or a home to live in. So these things are important. I always think that life, God, the divine, I just think it wants you to have everything that you want. The question is, are you going to be responsible for it if it shows up?

Rebuilding Self-Image

SPEAKER_01

Exactly. And and when it comes to monetary things, I like you, I'm sure, like nice things. I like nice clothes, I like to drive a nice car or truck. Because when I do that, that helps boost my self-image, if you will, my confidence. And the whole thing works. It's really cool because your subconscious mind controls everything, right? The most important thing your subconscious mind controls is your self-image. And this was my problem. And I would venture to say most of your listeners can probably relate to this. And that is when we're born, we're born with a perfect self-image. We don't know anything else. There's nothing to tarnish that. It's not until we start to grow up into our yard formative years, you know, from a year old to about seven or so, we're getting the majority of the beliefs that form our self-image. But those beliefs are given to us by our parents, our peers, our teachers, our friends, all the people in our circle of influence. And these beliefs are not necessarily good. They're trying to protect us. No, no, no, no, don't do that. Don't you hurt yourself, you'll fall. Oh, those things never work. Don't try that. That's one of those scams. All kinds of limiting beliefs are placed upon us as we're going through these formative years. By the time we're adults, we are so beaten down, our self-image is not even close to who we really are. So, what we have to do is we use the subconscious mind to reprogram that self-image. Let me put it this way James, if we had a giant glass jar of water, but it's muddy water, and you are tasked with the job of getting all the dirty water out and replacing it with clean water, but you can't touch the jar. What do you do? Well, I would get a giant bucket of crystal clear water and I would slowly pour it into that jar, and eventually all the dirty water will be gone, and it'll be all you'll have is clean water. That is exactly what we're doing when we reprogram our subconscious mind. And here's the cool part your subconscious mind does not know the difference between truth and a lie, it accepts everything you tell it, it has no ability to reject anything. So if you tell it you're broke, if you're you you tell it you're jobless and you're homeless and you you know the world sucks. It was going, it's going to give you more of that.

SPEAKER_00

So that's exactly what happened that put you in the car. Absolutely. And the question that you ask yourself, which seems pretty harmless, was why is this happening to me? Right. Which is basically, I'm a victim. The brain will go, I'm going to give you more of that. Whatever you focus on, I'll give you more of.

Contracts With Yourself

SPEAKER_01

So the trick is using the fact that our subconscious mind doesn't know the difference between truth and a lie, it accepts everything. We're going to use that to our benefit. And I'm going to tell my subconscious mind, I'm so happy and grateful now that I am a multi-billionaire or a CEO or whatever it is that that goal is. We can reprogram our subconscious mind through affirmations, visualizations, meditation. I do it before I go to bed, and the first thing when I get up, I do 10 minutes of affirmations, 10 minutes of visualizations. And what this is doing is that's all going into your subconscious mind that this is my new reality.

SPEAKER_00

I've got a question for you, Steve. When you were in the car before you moved into your mentor's house and you made your first six-figure month, what were the fresh thoughts that you were thinking?

SPEAKER_01

What I did was I sat down and I wrote down on a legal pad all the things that I wanted to achieve. I want to be a top income earner. Um, you know, I want to have a nice car.

SPEAKER_00

I wanted all these things that I wanted, I wrote down, but I wrote them down in present tense as if they'd all so give me an example of one of those so we can have the listeners just go, wow, okay.

SPEAKER_01

I could probably pull them right off the shelf over here and read them. Sure. I'm so happy and grateful now that I am the top income earner in my company. That took about five months from the time that I wrote that down.

SPEAKER_00

You just wrote it once, or did you write it several times a day?

SPEAKER_01

I what I do is I write them down in a contract form. So all my goals go in one of two places. Current goals, I write them down and it looks just like a contract that you would have for any other legal binding agreement with myself. I sign it, it's all detailed out in great detail, dates, you know, everything is current, meaning it's already happened. And that's the key is your subconscious mind has to know that this is the new reality. It's already happened.

SPEAKER_00

I I I love that, Steve, because it's reminding you of what you want instead of why is this happening to me, which means I've got no control. Surely life's supposed to be better, but it isn't, versus I'm the now top top earner. That might be a lie right now. However, my question is how much action did you take while writing this?

SPEAKER_01

A lie.

SPEAKER_00

Boom. Because you know, you can write things down, but unless you take any action, it's still just uh it's still a lie, right? It's the secret.

Emotion, Authenticity, And State

SPEAKER_01

So the secret was great, but it left out one important element, and that is action.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Because if I'm sitting in a frigid room at 30 degrees, I can think about it getting warmer and I can have positive thoughts and I can visualize it, but until I get off my butt and go over to the thermostat and turn it up, I'm not going to get any warmer. So the action that I took was massive. And this was long before internet marketing, anything like that. I was going out and putting flyers on cars. I would do a thousand a day, seven days in a row. I would do classified ads, I would do fax blasts, I would do road signs, everything. I talked to everybody, and it wasn't very long. And it seemed like everybody that I spoke with wanted to get started in my business. But that was exactly what my subconscious mind created by listening to me say, I'm so happy and grateful now that I am the top hand criminal in this company.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. So, like in Bob Proctor's book, you said Bob Proctor has been a major part of your life. He does talk about I am so happy and grateful now that, and they say that in the secret. But is there a reason why you have to say those two types of words prior?

SPEAKER_01

I don't think you have to. Um, to me, gratitude is one of the most powerful things.

SPEAKER_00

And maybe it's just tapping into the power of gratitude as if you have it already now.

SPEAKER_01

That's the thing, is I think that's the one thing a lot of people leave out is gratitude. And you know, if I tell the universe I'm I'm grateful for what you've given me, then that helps boost the whole process.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. I mean, one may think that they're grateful. Yeah, I'm grateful for this. But to really get to the feeling of what gratitude feels like is a very different experience than what I thought it was, which was just like lip service, which is just going, Oh, I'm grateful for that, you know. But it wasn't until I began to actually think about why I was grateful for it. You know, I'm grateful, but there had to be a reason why, or you know, like I call it the wizard of oz. It's like, because, because, because. Um the reason why I'm grateful for this is because this, and because the and then suddenly the emotion started moving. And then the heart starts moving, and you feel like, wow, I'm not in my head so much now thinking this. I'm actually feeling the reason why I'm grateful for doing this podcast and the wonderful people I get to interview, and that how many people it helps, and the joy is in the whole production, and the joy of finding amazing new people or them coming to me. It just goes on and on and on.

Daily Discipline And Service

SPEAKER_01

But I think the one really powerful part of gratitude, when you say I'm grateful, the the real way, in my opinion, to be completely authentic about that is knowing where you were before. You you it's a comparison, and everybody's is going to be different. I went from sleeping in my car to eating and eating out of trash cans. So when I said I'm so happy and grateful now that I am, it was comparing where I'm at right now. I had my first six-figure month. Six months ago, I was eating out of trash cans and sleeping in a car. I'm absolutely grateful.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. And you can be grateful 30 years later that that's still not the case. You know. So if someone was in a real challenging situation right now, you could write these things out. You could follow Steve's strategy of I'm so happy and grateful now that I'm making X. You you mentioned gratitude, but how do you start to feel grateful for something that you don't feel like you have much of? You might be lacking in money, right? You might be lacking in health. Some of my audience are very, very wealthy people. They've got everything they need. But the challenge is the health or the relationships might be challenged. So, how can I be thankful for something that isn't present in my life? That doesn't make much sense.

SPEAKER_01

No, it doesn't. But here's where the visualization and the affirmations come in. And this is the critical part of rebuilding your self-image by reprogramming your subconscious mind. So even though you don't have two nickels to rub together, you have to put in the emotion, telling your subconscious mind, we are wealthy, abundance flows to me every day, and have to do it with emotion, and it has to be authentic. Because as soon as your subconscious mind understands what you're telling it, that's when things start to happen. But if you're not authentic, Authentic, we're going to get more of the same.

SPEAKER_00

There's one thing that I find really tricky that you've mentioned, and I really like to see how this works with vibration, is you said you need to change emotionally. You need to say these things emotionally. And all emotion is energy in motion. So, how do we change things? Is there a like a process that you recommend about getting that in a good emotional state? And then perhaps doing the affirmations. Because you could do affirmations in a bad mood, and I guarantee you it's not going to nothing's going to change. Agreed. Agreed. You're absolutely right. I'm interested to see what your method is and how it could help people.

Guarding Your Circle And Confidence

SPEAKER_01

And and I will tell you that I'm not a hundred percent that everybody's going to work the same way, but this is what worked for me. And it was spending as much time as I could with just sitting in a in a quiet place, no distractions, closing my eyes and visualizing all aspects of my life as it will be when I reach that level of success or whatever it is. And it's tough to do the affirmations with conviction when you're partisan, well, starving and unbroke. Therein lies the key. We have to visualize our life exactly the way we want it. We have to know exactly what it looks like. I mean, down to the pinpoint. Uh, two important things you need to know. You're gonna go on any trip. You're gonna start at point A and get to point B. You have to know where point B is. Where do you want to go? What do I want my life to look like? I mean, to a T. The other thing is we have to know where we're starting. Where am I right now? We have to do a self-assessment and be authentic. So then when we know where we're at, and now we know where we want to go, we can reverse engineer the path to get there. But the important thing is, in answer to your question, when those affirmations are difficult because they just don't feel authentic, go back and spend more time with your eyes closed, visualizing every aspect of your life. And this is what I do. I close my eyes and I visualize everything about my life. I visualize myself with great energy, helping other people, lifting other people up so that they're having results. I see every area of my life, how I walk, how I talk, how I engage with people, how people respond to me, what I wear, what I drive, everything right down to the smells of your life. It's going to take a bit. So once you get to that point, your subconscious mind goes, This is a totally different person. He wants this. Okay, let's start making those opportunities appear in his path. And people dismiss it as coincidence. One of the affirmations I do is I attract abundance in my life. I attract wealth in my life. Every single day, money flows to me. Uh, this couple weeks ago, I got a check for$3,400 in the mail that I didn't even expect. It was a class action lawsuit award from like ATT or something. And people dismiss that. You didn't make that happen. Well, I'm doing my visualizations and my affirmations every day and every evening. And out of the blue, I get a$3,400 check. Some people say that's coincidence. No, that is physics.

Don’t Quit: Hold The Vision

SPEAKER_00

That is like frequencies attracting. If we go back to the beginning of the conversation, we use the word vibration. So that is the vibration you've been sending out. And it's so funny because these everyday experiences we seem to negate with the actual work that does to transform it. We seem it as little woo-woo, but it isn't woo-woo. It's very grounded in physics, but it does take work to kind of change the river and the flow of the river from where you've been and the beliefs that you have to where you actually want to go, which might be abundance, might be better relationships, it might be greater health. My question to you is did you start implementing this at the beginning? And then have you continued? Have you changed some things? What's Steve's sort of process to stay? This is I'm on the trajectory of transforming people's lives. I'm on the trajectory of making a lot of money. I'm the trajectory of great health. I'm in the trajectory of great relationships.

SPEAKER_01

It seems quite a lot to have to think that you have to manage, but I think that there's something that you know that you could share with the with your, you know, of course, things have evolved a little bit, but overall, the process now is exactly the same as it was then. It's simple. You know, as a student growing up, I was never good at math. I hated math because my brain did not comprehend math. But yet physics was I loved it. Physics made sense to me, which was really cool because when I was introduced to these principles, I didn't even fight it. I just said, you know what? This is simple physics. This makes sense. It's simple, it's not easy. It takes work, it takes dedication, it takes discipline to get up every day and do the things that you have to do, the visualizations, the affirmations. It takes work to constantly make sure that you are staying in that positive mindset. And and look, we all have ups and downs. We all have days that we wake up, we're not quite there. That's when we have to figure out things that we can do to change our own vibration, our own frequency. Whether that's listening to some great music or or reading some inspirational uh content from an author, one of the things that really makes a difference for me is to just go out and do something for someone you don't even know with nothing expected in return. I can tell you that that one thing will produce more results for me than you know hours of visualization and affirmations. I'm not knocking them because I use them like an act. I'm doing something for someone that I can't repay you. That that produces a lot of positive results.

SPEAKER_00

Thank you for sharing that emotion because it's very true that just being able to help another fellow human being who's less fortunate than yourself, then they might be fortunate as well, and you still do something for them. I think it's just because you're tapping into a level of the human psyche that is what I call truth, you know, it's authenticity. And I think that if you're able to help another soul, you're in effect, you're making their life better, but your giving is also helping your life get better, right? And and I think it helps you forget about your problems when you're trying to satisfy someone else's needs.

Final Advice And Closing

SPEAKER_01

It does two things for me. Number one, if I could pick what I want on my headstone right now, it would say the surest way to get anything you want in life is to help other people get what they want. That just in itself will reward you greatly. The universe will reward you greatly for just doing things for other people with nothing expected in return, helping someone else. Everybody thinks that, you know, if only I made more money, I had a better boss or this or that. They're looking outward for results or change. But it all comes from in here. And for me, just the act of doing something for someone else also changes my vibration instantly. I instantly feel better about myself. It's the same thing as when I put on nice clothes, my confidence instantly gets boosted. When women put on nice clothes, especially high heels, it changes their posture, which produces a confidence rise in themselves. And that confidence then produces that vibratory increase. Your vibration is going to increase, therefore, you are going to attract different results.

SPEAKER_00

So, in short, the better clothes you wear, the the the greater success you're gonna have because you're gonna shift your vibration because beautiful clothes uplift you.

SPEAKER_01

I'm not gonna put it all on clothes, but I will tell you this every little bit helps. I'm gonna tell everybody listening right now, don't listen to the naysayers that say, Oh, that's stupid, you can't do that, blah, blah, blah. Sometimes you have to regulate the time that you spend with some of those people in your life. And that's another important point. In doing all of this, it's all part of reprogramming your subconscious mind to give you your self-image that you deserve to have, that is you, not what was gifted to you by other people. But all this is all part of the process of increasing our results. And to me, the act of doing things for other people produces that vibratory increase in me. And it's not only noticeable, but people will notice you and notice the results. It's like when somebody comes, have you done something different with your hair? Did you get haircut? Is that a new car?

SPEAKER_00

I really like what you said about going out of your way to help people because we all go through different periods in our life. Sometimes people are wanting a complete career change. Sometimes people are kind of having to start over because they've been separated. And it feels like starting over again can just feel like it's just such a heavy period of life. And maybe you've got some kids as well, or or maybe you're just being diagnosed with something that feels really super challenging.

You know, the seals have a uh uh uh I wasn't a seal, I was a marine, but but the seals, when they go to buds, there's a saying that okay, I can quit. I'm gonna quit. I can't do this anymore. I'm gonna quit, but not today. People have to know that they have the ultimate control over any results they get in their life. Like I said before, it's simple, it's not easy. It takes work, and part of the work is staying in the fight. Why? Why should I do it? You know, why should I do all that work? And this is where it becomes imperative that people not lose sight of where it is that they want to be, their goal, their end result, what their life looks like. Because as soon as you slack off and give up that visual, that vision of your life, your subconscious mind knows it's not happening, and it's gonna continue to give you what you've already got or what you had. So I guess the best piece of advice that I could give anyone looking to make changes in any area of their life is you've got to do the work every day. You've got to wake up with that visual of what your life is going to look like. I don't know how long it's gonna take. It'll take to your subconscious mind says, This is my new reality. Let me start putting things in place. The only way to fail is to quit.

And I really like that because you know, you've been through being a pilot, you've been through doing loads of jumps, you've been from homeless to making six figures, and you did that in a very short amount of time. You've had such a spectrum of high success and being at the low end. And I think that your your words today of just saying don't quit, keep going, it's so simple but also so profound.

SPEAKER_01

And don't quit is the key. Keep going, but make sure you're just focusing on what it is that you really want more than what you're trying to get away from. What you focus on is what will appear in your life. Back when I was playing sports, I always liked playing with people that were better than me. And that's because that helped me rise to their level. It always made me better. And the same thing goes with anybody in any area of their life. Don't let the naysayers bring you down. Even if they're in your family, you have to regulate how much time and energy you get from these people. Don't let them bring you down. You've got to maintain that self-image of that successful person.

SPEAKER_00

I think also sometimes the word you use, maybe even to family members, are general and vague whilst you go about your business. I think that's also quite important because you can get stuck in a conversation with a family member about something that you're working towards and they're not quite up to speed with your dreams, right? So you have to be. Yeah. I kind of like to quietly always go about my business now. Uh I don't really care what other people think so much anymore, which is a blessing. But at the same time, it took a little while to get there. But um, Steve, I just wanted to say thank you so much for sharing your wisdom today and your story. I'll have all the links uh available where you can get in contact with Steve and get his book and his programs as well. Steve, if there's any last thing you'd like to say, what would it be?

SPEAKER_01

You know, this this is really a one-person journey. And when I say that, because you are the most important person on this journey, don't worry about what other people say. Do not listen to the naysayers. That is probably the most important thing. Don't lose sight of your vision of what you want in your life.
