Lesson for My Sons
I’m on a mission to help people redefine themselves through honest conversations around health, purpose, fatherhood, faith, leadership, and personal growth.
After 20 years as a gym owner, coach, and personal trainer, I’ve realized that real transformation has very little to do with chasing perfection — and everything to do with becoming more honest about who you truly are.
This podcast is part life lessons, part self-reflection, and part message to my sons for someday when they’re older and trying to navigate life for themselves.
Through conversations with coaches, entrepreneurs, parents, athletes, and everyday people, we explore what it means to feel lost, rebuild yourself, lead by example, take care of your health, and create a life that actually feels aligned.
If you’re trying to slow down, think deeper, grow stronger, and become the person you were meant to be — welcome.

Pay Close Attention to What You Care About ft. James Hoskins

For a long time, I thought caring too much was a weakness.
Now I believe it's often a clue.
A clue to who God created us to be and who He created us to serve.
The problem is that caring makes us vulnerable. You can be misunderstood, rejected, and hurt. That's why many people choose not to care—it's safer.
But I've found that the things worth caring about are often the things worth suffering for.
In this episode, I sit down with my longtime friend James to talk about the foundations of caring, the challenges that come with it, and the rewards on the other side.
If my boys ever ask me, "Dad, why should I care?" I hope this conversation helps answer that question.
Love you guys.
