Research has shown that when children practice meditation on a regular basis, it can change their brain. Through meditation, brain centers for emotions and executive functioning can be changed and help children in a variety of ways, such as  help children regulate their emotions (thereby having fewer meltdowns), reduce their impulsivity and improve concentration and focus.
