Overthinker’s Guide
The Overthinker’s Guide is a podcast where two friends think things through in real time.
Each episode starts with a situation—something people overanalyse, replay, or quietly sit with—and we unpack it the way we would if no one was listening.
We question it.
We challenge each other.
We try to make sense of it without spiraling.
This isn’t advice, and it’s not a polished answer.
It’s what it sounds like when two people are honest, a little bit messy, and actually trying to understand something.
If you tend to overthink, this is a space where that’s allowed—but handled better.
Overthinker’s Guide
Tricking your brain
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
What if your brain was already working for you — you just hadn’t given it the right instructions? 🧠✨
In this episode, We bring you an exercise that actually got our attention. And trust us, we know how easy it is to scroll past a journaling prompt and never open a notebook. But this one’s different.
It starts with one phrase. Every morning. An affirmation that feels less like a vibe and more like a statement of fact — of course I will. And from there your brain quietly spends the whole day looking for proof that it’s true.
We get into why we resist these exercises even when we know they work, what makes this one feel different, and why the buy in is actually low enough to try.
No vision boards required. Just a pen, a phrase, and your overthinking brain finally working in your favour. 🫶
I mean you could do two things. You could do one for you and one for the world, you know?
SPEAKER_01Okay, that's fair.
SPEAKER_02It feels a little bit more like balanced. So you don't have to feel the overwhelming guilt of like, oh, it's me, me, me.
SPEAKER_00Get over yourself, girl.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Oh, maybe I maybe I got over myself today. Of course I got over myself.
SPEAKER_02Welcome back. It's the Overthinkers Guide, and you're yeah with me.
unknownAnd me.
SPEAKER_03Why can't you just say and me and not know?
SPEAKER_01I don't know. I don't I don't do you guys like the intro?
SPEAKER_02It's it's a work in progress.
SPEAKER_01You know, I think it's just like how would we greet each other? You know, I come up with it.
SPEAKER_02Also what what they just heard is like a snippet of the podcast somewhere in it.
SPEAKER_01And then they heard like Okay, so it's not just opening up okay that makes me feel better, you know. Because I'm always like, is this it?
SPEAKER_02Is this how they are? No, no, there's more app.
SPEAKER_01I'm very bad at greetings, you know, like hellos and goodbyes. And I I think um it's coming through in the podcast.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, it's it's I think it's fine for them, but what's coming through is your tenseness about it.
SPEAKER_01You're like how do you greet? How do you guys have every week?
SPEAKER_03That's why I keep introducing her because it's the first goddamn time.
SPEAKER_02Okay. Uh what do we do? We are here with an episode today. Um and before we go to an episode, though it's late, uh, we have a very um what's the word I'm looking for? Avid listener? An avid listener. He's a number day one fan. He's he's really expressed himself. This is a shout-out for him, but it's gotta come from Ronlin. His name is Travis. His birthday was passed in sometime in May. Maybe May. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01So you want me to say happy birthday?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I want you to be like, hey Travis, it's me, Ronlin. Thanks for listening, and also happy birthday, girl.
SPEAKER_01Wow, I thought you feel famous.
SPEAKER_02Okay. God damn. Okay, can we can I can I talk to you on the side? Yeah, yeah, yeah, sure. Um, sidebar. Um try to be cool.
SPEAKER_00Okay.
unknownTry to be cool when you do it.
SPEAKER_02Oh, it's cool. Try to be cool again.
unknownOkay.
SPEAKER_03Okay, anyway, we're back. Okay.
SPEAKER_01Okay, so hey Chavez. Happy birthday, boo. That's weird. I went weird. I went weird. I knew you weren't gonna be cool. I sidebarred you for this. Happy belated birthday. I hope you had a wonderful time. And thanks for listening. Thanks for listening. Let us know what you want us to talk about. You know, yeah. We'll we'll do an episode specifically for you.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, we will. Okay. Anything you want. Anything. You pick any topic in the world, Chavez. That's gonna be his birthday present. We have to do it now.
unknownOkay.
SPEAKER_01I can do it. We look scared that we can make it work.
SPEAKER_02Um, okay. What we usually do for a shout-out is we give somebody the option of having a ding tone. So this is your this is your ding tone. Okay, you did it. One, two, three. Hey, Travis. No, it's his ringtone. His ringtone. Why would you want your birthday?
SPEAKER_01What do you mean?
SPEAKER_03Why would you want a birthday song for your ding tone?
SPEAKER_01Because we we shout him out on his birthday.
SPEAKER_02No, you want like but like as a ringtone?
SPEAKER_01Every day is Nah, okay.
SPEAKER_02I'm sorry, Travis. She's nuts, man. Um, we're gonna veto that anyway. Hope you're doing well. This one's for you. This is a belated uh shout-out that I've owed him for a while.
SPEAKER_00Ah, yeah.
SPEAKER_02Okay, um, and then onwards and upwards. Today, however, is not the episode we're doing for Travis.
SPEAKER_01Travis's birthday episode. That is three episodes from now.
SPEAKER_02Um, what we're gonna do is talk about something that I found very interesting and I wanted to share with Ron in um a sort of self-help. You know, I'm a self-help junkie. I love I love a good self-help anything. I think it's uh a a moment for you to grow and stitch wings and be a beautiful person.
SPEAKER_01And so sometimes I like to not grow. Oh. Yeah. Sometimes I like to still.
SPEAKER_02Fuck me then. Well, this is what's nice, what's nice about this is like so what I find is sometimes these self-help books have it's the in theory, it's very nice. And in theory you can be like, oh yeah, I I I can see how this could work, but the actual doing it part is like it's a bit like complicated and a little bit more difficult than they make it seem in the book. And so there's this disconnect between you reading it and understanding it, and then you actually practicing and it's you know and I found this one exercise um that I thought, oh okay, I I could I could do this, I could see it working, and I could do it very low maintenance also. Um it's got to do with journaling. Now I'm not a journalist.
SPEAKER_01Okay. I want to be so badly.
SPEAKER_02Exactly. Who the f is a journaler? You know what I'm saying? It is a people, it is a very, very niche, difficult thing personally, I feel to do. But I saw this version and I was like, I could get behind this. Okay. Because the thing is, they're like, talk about your day, and I'm like, you've given me this broad task to do, and it's overwhelming, and you know, it it it gets to a point where I don't know what to say, and then you get a little shy, and then you don't do it. Oh my god, you have a too much problem.
SPEAKER_01And then I'll start talking, and then I'll start like telling a story, and then I'll just like scrap it, and then I'll just start like writing a story. Oh, okay. And then I'll come back to it, and I'll be like, Oh, that's not what I was supposed to be doing, and then sometimes I'll talk to it. The last time I was I was trying to journal, I was like, Oh, maybe it'll help me. Because in my head I'm always talking to someone to write it. So in my journal, I was like, I don't know if this is right journal, but I'm gonna go writing it to you.
SPEAKER_02So you third person, like you you personified your journal.
SPEAKER_01Yes, and I was like, I was speaking to my journal, and then it got weird, and I was like, this doesn't feel that because I I felt like I was disinterested. After being ignored, this is what's working.
SPEAKER_03I can see that happening. I'm so sorry you went through that. Fuck that journal. We will burn it.
SPEAKER_01You know, I stopped. I was like, fine. You don't want me, I don't want to ignore you.
SPEAKER_03This pen is dead to me.
SPEAKER_02I have the opposite problem. I it becomes like a thesis now. Now I'm like, hmm, if I tomorrow I will plan, I'm just planning a project now. Now I'm not journaling. This doesn't feel like journaling.
SPEAKER_01It's hard to like casual like what do you casually speak about? So this was tough. There was something that I had done. I don't know if it counts as journaling, but you bought me that planner for Christmas. Yes, yes, yes. And then every day I'll like write like a highlight of the day, you know, like I had a slice of cake, it was nice.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_01You know?
SPEAKER_02Okay, so I think so for Christmas I had bought on this journal, and I was like, okay, I looked through it and I was like, I think she can it had like a lot of specific things to do with like stickers and things. I was like, okay. Yeah, so I was like, you you would the the prod the the admony, what is the like I don't say anal, you know, the the like the nitpicky or like the you know, like you like detail or detail-oriented autistic girl in you, you know, the autistic sticker-like the Tism sticker-like version of you would love this book. So I got that, and uh part of what you had spoken to me about with why you like the book is also another reason why I thought this is gonna particular thing would work. So, long story short, here we go. Um, this is the this is the journaling idea. It's basically around manifesting, and it helps we all know the manifesting thing. So it's three steps. You write in a journal, very specific things. I'll go through the three steps now, but I the idea is like the law of it's not attraction, there's another one. The law of assumption.
SPEAKER_01I don't know if you've heard of assumption.
SPEAKER_02Assumption, yeah. I think it's what it's called. So basically, the idea is that what you believe and what you manifest in your like imagination can be reality. And as far as I understand, some So what is it like you just assume things to be true and they'll like you know when you like uh do the positive affirmations in the murder, that's essentially what it is. Like you're saying, like, I'm a bad bitch, I'm a bad bitch, I'm a bad bit, and then you start believing that you're a bad bitch, and then you are a bad bitch.
SPEAKER_01So like what's the assuming part?
SPEAKER_02What do you mean? Yeah, that you assume that you're a bad bitch and then you believe it.
SPEAKER_01Okay.
SPEAKER_03What is a bad bitch at the time? You know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_02Okay, you see, and so and then you kind of believe it, and then in believing it becomes the reality, and it is. It is true. So that's what it's essentially working around, okay? Okay. So there's three things you need to do. You will need well, yeah. I I personally don't think you can you need to do it every single day, but I think it would be at its optimum if you do it every single day. It's a bit of like rewiring. I think what I like about it's a bit of rewiring the brain to think definitely like the positive affirmation. So one reason why I think the positive affirmation thing works, right?
SPEAKER_01Okay. Oh, yeah, I'll I'll let you speak. I I'll let you cook.
SPEAKER_03Bomb me not being able to do it.
SPEAKER_01Yes, I was gonna say, I what I don't know if it works. I've seen it work for other people, and the idea of it, it makes so much sense. Yeah. But and I saw this video on Instagram and we just see the interview of this girl and she was like standing in the murder, and she's like, You're trying to do the positive affirmations, and you're using it.
SPEAKER_02It's like a voice behind you, like, really girl. Oh, but we're gonna be me. Yeah. Be like, oh, really? Oh, you're the gym girl? Oh, you're getting it, are you though? Where's the touch screen two years ago? You're not wearing it though. So mean. And that's why I always tell everyone, it's so funny when people like, I'm like, be mean, come at me. You don't even know I've done it to myself, girl. Like, you don't have the buttons I've pushed on me.
SPEAKER_01And we know where the buttons are in ourselves, so it's always ruthless beautal.
SPEAKER_02So when people are like, mmm, bitch, and I'm like, okay. Okay, that's like water of a duck's bag. Is that all you've got?
SPEAKER_03So sad.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, we are. It does make me resilient, I think. But yeah, the the reason why I think it it will work. Okay, and I do believe in it because a while ago we were house sitting for Logan's cousin, and we were house sitting, and he had left on the midder for some reason these sticky notes as a joke in his cousin's bathroom. He's like ensuite bathroom, and he left sticky notes on the midder, and like it's like, oh, you're doing great, bro. You like Logan left them before they came back. Yes, as as a as a joke.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, as a as a joke, he's like, it's gonna be so funny, he's gonna see these sticky notes, and like, ha ha ha, it's on his bathroom motor.
SPEAKER_02And for years he left those sticky notes, he was so like, he's like, Oh my god, it's it was like it's really nice. Like he kept coming to the and that's why it wasn't self-positive affirmation, but like the idea that somebody had put it up there, and when he goes there, he was just like, huh, it's always there, like this quirky, cute version, and he enjoyed it so much. And I thought it works, you know? It it works. It it I can see why that worked, and I could see how it would work if somebody did that to me, also. Like, all I need to do is just write it and put it there. But that self-doubt goal gets into my head, and I'm like, really gonna write that, you know. But when helpers, that Logan has someone else. Someone wrote it, put it up on the wall, and they did the activity. So once you do it, it's gonna work. The problem is we don't do it. That's what I think.
SPEAKER_01Okay.
SPEAKER_02So it's not that it doesn't work, it's that we don't do it.
SPEAKER_01We can't get to the point of doing it because of the self-doubt.
SPEAKER_02Exactly. So so I I I believe it works because of that, you know?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, okay.
SPEAKER_02Having said that, okay, I'm gonna run you through the steps.
SPEAKER_04Okay.
SPEAKER_02And we're gonna talk about each step. And I think there's room for improvement because bless her heart and soul. But the girl that I found, as I was explaining to Donnell, she seems very eclectic.
SPEAKER_01Which is why I'm looking at you with such concern while you're trying to explain to me how much you think this is gonna work. Because I'm pretty sure before we started recording, you said she seems a little wacker.
SPEAKER_02She seems she seems off her rocker, but that's why I think that's where the gems are. That's what I'm thinking. That now I'm not clear. You know, you know what I'm saying. You know what I'm saying? And that's why I'm almost enticed.
SPEAKER_00What's she connected to? You know? Like, you know, this gets some of them. Maybe that's what we need. We're not wacko, we know. I think that every day.
SPEAKER_03You know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_02Okay, so let's let's get into um the first thing. So, firstly, for this task, you will need one pen. Gotcha. One book. Okay. Preferably small and diary-sized.
SPEAKER_01Okay, gotcha.
SPEAKER_02Enough pages for you to journal. To journal, you know. But like not too much where it's intimidating.
SPEAKER_01Okay, that's specifically. That's very specific.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, okay. Now, what's nice about this first step is this is a very clear. It's not you're not open-ended, I think. Okay. So every morning like beginning of day, like whenever you like have you wake up at noon, then you're not. You know what I'm saying? Like, or maybe you wake up in the morning and your morning's too busy, but then you get a chance, like late morning. Yeah. But as as early as you can, um, you want to do this. You want to write in this journal statements that um like you wanna write statements of stuff that you want, but but as if it's already happened. So yeah. So like let's say you want to find a man, you know, as an example.
SPEAKER_01Okay, yeah, okay as a vague little call down, but okay. Carry on.
SPEAKER_03Just as an example, let's just say you maybe want to channel this type of exercise towards that, okay?
SPEAKER_02So you're like, oh, I met somebody really cute today.
SPEAKER_01So like make things up? No, you're not called down.
SPEAKER_02Or I I saw this hardy today, or like or I'm I met a hottie, or I I was open to like I saw a few hardies, like as close to like the truth as you're willing to like, like possibility, you know. But essentially, you are deviating from the truth because you're pre-empting it.
SPEAKER_01So so even if I saw no hardies.
SPEAKER_02No, but this is the beginning of the day.
SPEAKER_01I've seen no hardy.
SPEAKER_02You've you've seen nothing, you've just seen it.
SPEAKER_01I've seen myself, maybe that's it. I look in the mud, I've seen a hardy today.
SPEAKER_03Okay, I mean, uh let's maybe let's maybe use a different example. Maybe it doesn't involve a man.
SPEAKER_02Um maybe you say, like, like, oh, I had a great day today. Oh, I I spent time with my friends and I had a wonderful time.
SPEAKER_01I'm overthinking it already. So that's why we're this is for I'm writing something to enter in how my day is going to go. So this is kind of like me at the end of the day.
SPEAKER_02Like like yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So so you're writing. So you you let's say you wake up and it's a Saturday and you're gonna come like chill by me. We're gonna have like a movie day or whatever. And you're like, oh, I had a great day with my friends, um, and for some reason you ate cake. Yeah, oh I I ate cake and was delicious. Um, I was very confident throughout the day. I wasn't anxious. You know, you know, you know what I'm saying? So so you write those statements as effort, but the twist is you write like, of course, in the front.
SPEAKER_01Okay. Oh, my brain's gonna go, of course I was confident all day.
SPEAKER_02Maybe there's a version, maybe there's like a statement you can think of. Because I don't think it's not so much that statement, but what it what it implies is like it's an absolute like. Yeah, like of course it happened to me. Of course I was confident today. Of course I had a great day. Of course I, you know. Like obvious, obviously. Obvious. You could say of obviously I had a good day. Or bit. I don't know if you hear bit I had a good day.
SPEAKER_01Maybe I'll say bit. I kind of like that.
SPEAKER_02Bet I had a good day. Exactly. Whatever that phrase is, we have to put it in the front of those things to to kind of have like duh. Yeah. And and it's to like hype that attitude of like what like there's nothing else can exist. This is just how we are. This is how it is exactly, exactly. So that's those are the statements. As many as you want. One? Yeah, two. That's nice, that there's not like a limit. Yeah. I think I think it's like if you personally I'm uh like to focus on one or two things kind of goal. Like if I want to bold my uh happiness, then for the next two to three days I will focus on my happiness. And then the next three days I'll focus on something else. So if you want your statements for the first week of you doing this to just be about, you know, you uh talking about your confidence, then it can just be a two, two or three statements about your confidence, you know. It doesn't have to be like oh you don't have to overwhelm yourself with like trying to get everything at, you know.
SPEAKER_01So I think that that's also another thing. Every time I get into like these self-help um situations, I don't know, you know, I'm always like to pick what I need help with. Oh. Because there's a long list. Oh, girl. And so I'm always like, yeah, I want to pick something like that.
SPEAKER_02Why do you think I switch them out every two, three days?
SPEAKER_01It's so expensive.
SPEAKER_02I gotta switch them out all the time. It's too many.
SPEAKER_01So I'm like, you know, I'd be like, oh, I'd wanna pick something like confidence. And then I'd start doing it, and maybe this is my lack of confidence speaking, but then I'd start feeling like this is selfish. Like of all of the things you can improve about yourself, you want to feel more confident. Like, why don't you improve like your kindness or like your sympathy, or you know, like I'm like, why don't why wouldn't why why wouldn't you choose that can affect other people?
SPEAKER_02Maybe you should work on your like guilt then.
SPEAKER_01That's a good one. Today I obviously felt no guilt.
SPEAKER_02Maybe we deal with the root problem, you know. But I mean you could do two things, you could do one for you and one for the world, you know.
SPEAKER_01Okay, that's fair.
SPEAKER_02It feels a little bit more like balance, so you don't have to feel that overwhelming guilt of like, oh, it's me, me, me.
SPEAKER_00Get over yourself, girl. Yeah. Oh, maybe I maybe I got over myself today. Of course I got over myself.
SPEAKER_02Bit I got over myself today. But yeah, so that's the first. And like like I said, if you want a balance, if you want to focus on like maybe being a nicer person, maybe being a more helpful person, whatever it is. Maybe you want to get money for you, is maybe it's as as selfish and as of as um you focused as getting like just straight up success.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02It doesn't matter, it's your business. No one's gonna read it, you know. You do that.
SPEAKER_01And then I would say doubt yourself and don't doubt yourself.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I would say personally, I like to do like set a small timer, like a check-in timer. So like don't you're not gonna do this favor, do it for a week. You know what I'm saying? And then see. So I think what happens is like you're like, oh, I'm gonna journal now. And then it's this like open-ended, indefinite thing, and it's pretty intimidating. So you're like, I'm gonna journal for this week, and then after the week, I'm gonna see if I still want to join. Is it for me? And that's so much less pressure, you know? It doesn't feel like you've now committed to this like long-term job. Job writing job.
SPEAKER_01So yeah.
SPEAKER_02So I say do it for the week. Do it for the week, do it for two weeks if you like. Actually, I kind of dig this, I can do it for more. Do it for two weeks and then see. So you're gonna write these of course statements. Of course. Of course, of course, of course. Like they already happened. Okay, gotcha. Okay. Now, before we go into the next step, doable.
SPEAKER_01Doable, doable, easy peasy, easy peasy, easy peasy, yeah. I think for me, genuinely, when you were saying that, it the hardest thing would be to choose what I want to improve on. You know what I'm saying? But I think it helps. But I think it helps, like, because it's like a day. So I'm like, for me, I like I'm sitting here and I'm like, oh, would I be causing harm to myself to pick different things on different days? Like, do you suggest that if I wanted to be confident, I do confidence this whole week? No, you're right. Or can I on Monday say today? I see, I see what you're saying. I want to be productive. Oh, today obviously I was productive. Yeah. But then tomorrow maybe I wanna I wake up feeling bad.
SPEAKER_02So I'm like, I wanna my ADHD brain is saying this that they are different types of people and different things work for different types of people. Besides that. Just besides you being a different person and different things work for different people. Besides that, I think the best approach here would be to like pick something. No, to pick either are you working on individual attributes or are you working on a you vibe? You know what even sound was that? So, like, like for example, do I want to work on success, or am I working on like me as like a successful hottie, you know? Like, like, is it a thing you're working on, or is it like a vibe that you want to change for you?
SPEAKER_01Okay, you know what I'm saying? Okay, I see.
SPEAKER_02And I think once you decide between the two, if it's a specific thing you want to work on, easy, just talk about that thing. But if it's a you vibe, just make sure all of them are in line with that vibe. Yeah, then you can switch out because then it's working towards this like I'm a baddie, or you know, I'm a boss bitch now, or whatever. Cause now it all works. So it's so what do they They need success, they need confidence, they need that. So when you change it out, it's still working towards just in that vein.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Okay. Okay, that makes sense.
SPEAKER_02But then if you're somebody who likes to like switch things up and you like to do a whole bunch of different things, like I said, different strokes for different folks. Besides that, that's my advice.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I do think that that would be best. Because as I was saying it, I was like, oh, I can like pick different things every day. But I'm like, I think at some point that's gonna get overwhelming. Yeah, to like tell myself I'm everything all the time. Like I think it would be nice to just like focus on one thing and be this thing, and then be like, okay, I've got space for something else now, and then do another thing, you know?
SPEAKER_02Ironically, I'm in a 180 and say, I probably would like pick a few things, like well, like you're saying, like a vibe.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, like the vibe thing. Like obviously I'm not gonna every day wake up and say, Oh, I was confident, I was confident. But if that is the vibe I'm going for, then I'll say I am saying obviously I had no negative self-talk today. But that's obviously But that's what I'm saying.
SPEAKER_02Let's say you're talking about like your confidence.
SPEAKER_01Uh-huh.
SPEAKER_02And then your confidence would span over what's taking to be.
SPEAKER_03I tried to do the man thing and you were like, oh, called out. I'm pivoting. I still feel called out.
SPEAKER_02I'm perpetuated. I'm pivoting. Okay, let's say you wanted to find yourself a man. You happy now? Let's say you wanted to do the man thing, and then obviously every day wouldn't be like, I found a man, I found a man, I found a man. But I don't see what the problem would be if you did that.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Like today I found a man. Like, okay, you didn't find him today, but like eventually you keep it identity. You're gonna find one. You know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_01Is if you look back over the weeks and every day you write my father.
SPEAKER_02No, no, I promise you it won't be sad. It will work. Okay, this is only step two. This is only step one. That's what I'm saying. So it will work. I do think like if you have one fucking statement and you want to write that one statement, yeah, it's not creative. Maybe like three statements that you always write. Okay. You know, like like something poor and beat.
SPEAKER_01Directed. Like if you know who you want to be and what you need to like get.
SPEAKER_02And that's what I'm saying. If you like, I I found a man, I I I met someone today. Um, I met somebody nice today, I met somebody like you know, with a variation of whatever you want to. But like I said, if you like, I don't know, I can't think of stuff. I'm gonna add this one scene. Let's go for it, it's better than nothing. That's what I'm saying, you know.
SPEAKER_04Okay.
SPEAKER_02But yeah, if you want to do I found a man, I was looking hot today because to find a man you gotta look hot, so you need to build that. So then, like, you think about the things around that, then you can also like it's still with the same point, but it's fine.
SPEAKER_01You think about the situation, yeah.
SPEAKER_02So you're like, I was very confident today because I looked good. I l Of course I look good today.
SPEAKER_01Of course I won the lottery. Oh my gosh, of course I bought a lottery ticket.
SPEAKER_02I feel like we shouldn't go to that one. I feel like you'll really test, you know, this theory, and then you'll just be sitting there with your dick in your hand, feeling like, what was I thinking?
SPEAKER_00What are the odds again? You know, I mean, someone's gonna win. I feel like you should say something like, of course, money came to me.
SPEAKER_02Fake, you know? Okay, that's it. But opens opens up more doors, you know what I mean?
SPEAKER_00But I see what you mean.
SPEAKER_03Like, I of course I lost an organ today. Of course I made money today. I see a plan for me.
SPEAKER_01Of course I joined OnlyFans. Of course I made money.
SPEAKER_03Of course my toes are painted today.
SPEAKER_02Oh no, yeah, no, we don't suggest getting don't lead the journal.
SPEAKER_03Don't lead the journal.
SPEAKER_02Open yourself up to opportunity. Okay. I'm like, of course I found an opportunity for money today.
SPEAKER_00Bit of statement.
SPEAKER_02Of course I picked up a hundred and is a wild thing to want to write in this journal, you know?
SPEAKER_03Like it's just so specific. Like, open up your mind to the ether a little bit more, you know. So just in case you were teetering between the two phrases, I would preface lean towards the first one.
SPEAKER_01Has the possibility or a bigger possibility of being true.
SPEAKER_02Exactly. Because you want to play the possibility, you are creating from your imagination a reality, and you don't want to stack the odds against you. You know, of course I'm a giraffe.
SPEAKER_00Like you are not, like you were you are bound by some form of reality.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Although maybe by okay, no, I'm not gonna go into it.
SPEAKER_02Don't but if I see why you went there now.
SPEAKER_01If you want to be a giraffe, because I'm like, maybe for me, a giraffe embodies at all confident.
SPEAKER_02Yes, in that way, okay, I get it. Long neck, long tongue.
SPEAKER_01Take it back. It's black also.
SPEAKER_02Apparently it's a purplish blue. It's like purplish, yeah, dog. Some people do say black, but it's like it's weird purplish blue.
SPEAKER_00Maybe it's because they eat.
SPEAKER_02There are some dogs that also like some thatterbred dogs that also.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_02So maybe they're just thatterbred giraffes.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. I'm less grossed out by the tongues of giraffes now than when I was younger. When I was younger, they're daily fleeting.
SPEAKER_02But I don't think they like they're not particularly um salivary.
SPEAKER_01They're not. But like when it when people like fake. And then they're like, yeah, they come and they like slake around their faces. Maybe that's why. As I said, yeah. Seems like it's got a mind on its own.
SPEAKER_02Sometimes your cats' tails freak you out.
SPEAKER_01Oh dude. I'm like, stop. Are you sleeping or not? You want to live with me. Okay. Okay, step two.
SPEAKER_02Step two. Step two. So once you've written those statements in the morning, you come back to it in the evening.
SPEAKER_00Okay.
SPEAKER_02Okay. You come back to it in the evening, and you write down everything that confirms that happened. Okay. Through the day. Let's say you know, I met a nice guy. Of course I made a nice guy. Of course I look confident. Let's take those two. Then during the day, somebody like winked at you or looked at you for too long. And you're like, are they flirting with me? Then you write that some guy flirted with me today. You know? Okay. You're creating the proof of it. Okay. So you so you write, um Yeah, like I don't know the losing. Yummy. Okay. So like some because he actually flirted with you. I'm saying, like a guy.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I'm yes, I'm saying you're not gonna make this Jesus.
SPEAKER_01Because you see it like he like like you some guy. Yeah. What do you think a winky is what not men just winking at you? What if he's like, you know, like he's got like he's like telling a joke or like he's like, oh hey, you know then obviously not that. Like I'm saying, like it has to still be a flirt.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, like if a guy was like, hey, and then you're like, oh this guy flirted with me, and you say, a guy flirted with me today. Okay, okay, okay. Somebody cat called you, like a guy cat called. Don't lie. Don't lie. No, this could be. This is then whatever in the day happens that confirms any of your statements you want to write it down. Okay. So it has to have happened at this point for you to write that down. So, like I said, if somebody flirts with you, then you're affirming that you met somebody that's possibly a match that's affirming, or that you're feeling confident and feeling sexy, so that affirms it, so you write that down. But it's about writing like every small thing.
SPEAKER_04Okay.
SPEAKER_02Now the reason why I like this is because um well sh she she said it's like frequency matching. So now you are like, of course, of course, of course, and then you go look for evidence that supports that, and you're like, okay, well, there's my evidence. Because now when you when the day passes and you're looking back and you're like, damn, girl, you know, you said that. How is that? Of course, exactly. And also, what I think this fights against is that we have this habit as people or women. I don't know, but I know I do it and I've seen John do this as well. Like if I'm having a bad day and it's like the luvil phase and I feel like a potato. Luthial phase? Louvial?
SPEAKER_00Luthial?
SPEAKER_02Luthial?
SPEAKER_01Is it like Luthial? No, is it? Is it?
SPEAKER_02I thought it was luvil. It feels like a v.
SPEAKER_01I like it's L-U-T-H-L-L. Luthial phase.
SPEAKER_02How would you spell that? Lou.
SPEAKER_01I just spelled a V.
SPEAKER_00He doesn't listen to me, guys. I'm gonna spell it out everywhere. I can't remember. Is it L U L-U-T-E-A-L. Luthial. Okay. Lutial. Luthial. I think that's the name is Luthial.
SPEAKER_01It is no V. It's no H. I said Luthial. Which is that's saying it's Luthial. No one no one's Luthial. No one says Luthial.
SPEAKER_00No one says Luthial.
SPEAKER_01They do like if you go onto Instagram and people are talking about the Luthial stage. They say Luthial, they don't say Luthial. No one says Lutil.
SPEAKER_03I think we're both there. We were both one later over that.
SPEAKER_01You had a V. Yeah. You had an H. Mine is like, mine is like a nuance of like a sound. You added a V. Z. V.
SPEAKER_03When you're in your luteal. Luteal phase.
SPEAKER_02Luteal phase. With the accent. But when you're in that phase and you're feeling like really gross and like you're like, oh, you know, I'm so unattractive. And then me, I'm walking around and I maybe saw like some guy like turn back and look at you. Or, you know, uh somebody said something like, Oh my god, you look so fit today, whatever it is. And then your brain is like discounting that, those moments.
SPEAKER_01I only turned around to look at me because I look like a monster.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, but but also your brain just goes, No, like it just doesn't want to collect that data for you because you're not looking for it. What you're looking for is to confirm your bias of you looking like a potato. So everything that happens that confirms that you're a potato, that you look to confirm. Yes. But the shit that doesn't, you just reject. Reject this confirmation bias. You're looking for it. So this creates the confirmation bias in a good way. Because now in the morning, what did you do? You're right, of course I'm a bad bitch, of course. So now already your brain is like kind of looking for those things. And then when you look for it and you write it, it reaffirms. So when you look back, it just reaffirms it. So I feel like it's it's doing that stupid pro that process that we do in the negative way. It naturally happens in a negative way, making it a positive thing and actually like setting yourself up to do it more positively. You know, it's like, hey, listen, I got a red car, suddenly you see red cars. Yeah, so yeah.
SPEAKER_01Okay, okay, I can see that. I think okay, okay. I think in practice it'll be a little bit easier to because I'm almost like it just works, man.
SPEAKER_02Don't find it. What's your issue? What do you think won't work about? What are you worried about?
SPEAKER_01I think I'm worried about me not being able to do it.
SPEAKER_02You're just sitting there like at the end of the day, of course. You actually know it, of course.
SPEAKER_01But I do think that the more I do it, the more it'll be easier to be aware of those things. But because I'm almost like, what if I say in the morning, I'm like, oh, of course I wasn't anxious. I wasn't anxious all day, you know? And then when I look back on the day, I can't think of anything to confirm it.
SPEAKER_02But but I think what's n I think you sitting at this side of the activity, you're anticipating the this version of you now or once you haven't written it down.
SPEAKER_01So I was like, I think in practice it'll be better.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I do I 100% think in practice it'll be better. Because what I think is gonna happen is you're gonna write, of course I wasn't anxious. So your brain's already looking for you know what your next task is. You know your next task is to write that. So you're gonna be like, Am I anxious?
SPEAKER_01Am I you know and if they'll happen, you'll be like, Oh my gosh, I wasn't anxious about that, and you'll notice that exactly.
SPEAKER_02Because you've put it in the forefront of you saying, Oh, of course I wasn't anxious, and then you know your task tonight is to write that. But also at the same time, like the goal isn't to affirm, you don't have to affirm every single thing you write there. It's just about you looking for something that affirmed, and that's why it's about the small thing. Like, for example, let's say you you go through the day and you don't think that you were like you were anxious for like um half of a movie, you know, then you write. I was only anxious for half of the movie. Okay. I was I wasn't anxious for the first half of the movie. I wasn't anxious when I walked in. I wasn't anxious.
SPEAKER_01There's going to be truths that you know affirm it because you know, like be and then me like, oh, I wasn't, you'll start thinking harder and then you'll be like, but it couldn't have been, and so you'll find it.
SPEAKER_02You know what I'm saying? So I do think like you will find like things like yeah, okay, you know, you you like, oh I've um of course I feel confident today. And then you know, you have the shittest day of your life, and then you're like, you know what, I took it like I took it on the chin though, that's pretty confident. You know what I'm saying? Like you every little thing you write, you just need to write to affirm what you wrote down there. Because it's you seeking in your life, in your experience, these the the the way that you think about things, you're seeking like this bit of pathway, you know. Yeah, you're not like it all it's all there already. You just keep take taking the shit road. Yeah, you're just switching roads, it's not you're not creating anything new, you're switching roads, and now what is gonna happen, it's gonna create this frequency of you going, Wow, I am actually better, and it's gonna start attracting things that are better, and it's gonna start you know making things change as you go, but that shit's already there. We just keep dipping to the left on the shit road, you know? Did that any of that make sense? Yeah, okay. To me. Okay, thanks. Nothing to them too. You guys get it. I really hope so sometimes I will be talking and I'm like, dude. I'm like, what did I say? No, what am I saying? That's what I thought. Like, somewhere in there was like, am I where where did I come from?
unknownWhat?
SPEAKER_02But yeah, so so those are the two steps. Now, those two steps I very much believe in. Yes. There's a third step. Okay. Okay. Let me guess.
SPEAKER_01The third step.
SPEAKER_02Oh, okay. No, you're gonna guess.
SPEAKER_01Did not see that coming. The third step is that I make things happen. So did you think this through? No. I was just saying it. We're working on it. Okay, okay, okay, okay, let's hear it.
SPEAKER_02How would you make things happen?
SPEAKER_01So you make things happen by now, if I'm like, oh, I'm I'm confident today, right? Then I can see the world still. Then I I put myself in positions where I have to be confident. Oh. So that you know what I'm saying? Like, like now you challenge yourself.
SPEAKER_02Ah, okay.
SPEAKER_01I think that's not what I said at the beginning. But as I was thinking, I was like, oh, maybe that's a workshop.
SPEAKER_02Like I said, we're workshopping. That's not a bad no, that's not the next one. That okay, let's let's just let's look at the first one and then let's look at the last step and then see what we would improve on. Because I'm not a big fan of it. I'm actually more of a fan of your one than this one. Okay, okay, let's see. So the third step is now like let's say you're doing this for one or two days, and you get the hang of it, and then like you write, gonna find myself a man today. Of course I found myself a man, of course someone flirted with me, of course I feel confident. What you now need to do is when that shit happens in real life, you're not gonna act surprised. You're gonna be like, of course. It's about matching your attitude in the moment with what you're writing.
SPEAKER_01Okay.
SPEAKER_02So now in the moment when somebody flirts with you, you're gonna be like, of course. Because you wrote it this morning and you knew it was gonna happen.
SPEAKER_01Okay, so you're not gonna be like, oh my gosh. Oh my god, it's having. Oh my gosh.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, so now you're gonna be like, of course it happened. So now when the guy flirts with you, you're like, Yeah, knew that, wrote it in my journal this morning. Expected it. Expected it, was waiting for you. Was waiting for you. A little late. Okay, I'm about to write in my journal, but glad you're yet. But yeah. Okay.
SPEAKER_01You know what I'm saying? I I don't hate it. I I see what they're saying, but it almost feels like repetitive. Yeah. Because I do think that that's something that will happen once you do it. Yeah, you know, but that's what I'm saying. I don't think it's useless because maybe it's like I think that there's a nuance to it where it's like, okay, maybe you're we also have to acknowledge, yeah. Because if you just keep saying, Oh, it happened, and then you're coming at the end of the day and you're like, oh, all these nice things happen, but you never acknowledge it in the moment, you're not actively changing. Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_02All you're doing now is like acknowledging things, but you have to like video post and pre-assessment versus the living in the moment as well, yeah.
SPEAKER_01So so I can see that.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_01I think I'm like, maybe it's because of the of course, because of course sounds sassy to me, right?
SPEAKER_02Oh, yeah.
SPEAKER_01You know what I'm saying? So now I'm like, it doesn't have to be like sassy, right? Or like because I'm like, like like with the confident thing, like if you're like, oh, um, the the man thing, like, oh, uh, of course I found a man, right? Then the guy comes to flirt with you. Do I have to like act like bitch? Where were you? Okay.
SPEAKER_02You know how many days I've been in this flippin' journal and you show up on the last day. I was about to quit.
SPEAKER_01Like, how would I how would I do that without seeming like I know no, I don't think it's about you having like Is it just like an intern?
SPEAKER_02Like I have to like Yeah, don't be surprised, you know? Don't be like, oh my god, it's happening. Like, don't be don't think a good thing is happening to me. Like Okay, I see what you're saying. Oh wow, like it's happening to me. How like wow, lucky me. No. Okay. Yes, it's happening to me. Yes, it's meant to happen to me. Yes, I wanted this to happen to you.
SPEAKER_01Okay, so instead of like when he comes up to you, like, oh my god, everybody, is he gonna flirt with me? Yeah, you said you're like, oh, of course he's gonna flirt with me.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, hello. Hi. Okay. You know? So that's fair. I can see that. You're inter because I mean with the confidence thing, like you're not gonna be a sassy like girl now suddenly, you know. You're just gonna be like, yeah, when somebody comes to you and says, Oh, you're you're a really confident person. You're not gonna be like, Oh, thank you. That I'm so surprised you said that. You're gonna be like, Oh, thank you.
SPEAKER_01Okay. You know what I'm saying? I'm not gonna say I know. Yeah, you're not gonna say thank you.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, you're not gonna be a bitch. You didn't write. Oh, of course I was a bitch today.
SPEAKER_02But you're just gonna be like, yeah, thank you. I know, yeah. That's you know, I'm telling you.
SPEAKER_03Am I a confident girl?
SPEAKER_01I think she's trying to turn us into her. This girl is just this is a course on how to turn into this girl. She's sassy.
SPEAKER_02She is she's crazy.
SPEAKER_01She's crazy is she's crazy and sassy or crazy and quiet.
SPEAKER_02I don't think you can be crazy and not sassy. It's not true.
SPEAKER_01Who have you made this so fortunately? You can be quiet and crazy, which is almost worse. That's psychotic. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02No, I'm we we're talking about crazy, like, you know, like fun crazy, like crazy crazy, you know. Not like dangerous, not like Mendel, like.
SPEAKER_01Well, it could be like dangerous, fun, crazy.
SPEAKER_03But that doll is still says, you know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_00Does anyone want to drink?
SPEAKER_03She's shouting it. Okay, fair, fair, fair.
SPEAKER_02The the the I do agree that there's there's a brand of you know crazy. Like that whisper girl from pitch perfect, you know, I see a dead body. But that but I wouldn't call her. No, she's not crazy.
SPEAKER_01She's just eclectic, eccentric, wacky.
SPEAKER_02Oh, okay.
SPEAKER_01She's eccentric.
SPEAKER_02I I see you. Yeah. Yeah. But like you're talking about like what, like Dharma? We didn't say crazy. I th I would call him like psycho, you know.
SPEAKER_01But he was social. So he was to go to the bar, pick people up, you know, he was a little sort of. Yeah, but who's quiet?
SPEAKER_02Edgeen. Is he sassy?
SPEAKER_01So quiet.
SPEAKER_02Sassy quiet as soon.
SPEAKER_03So quiet. So he wasn't sassy, but obviously crazy.
SPEAKER_02But I wouldn't say he's crazy, I'd say he's like murderous or psycho or you know pathological, antisocial behavior, you know.
SPEAKER_00Disordered, disordered, scary.
SPEAKER_02Okay, but I got you crazy. I'll call you crazy. You know what I'm saying? You when it's crazy.
SPEAKER_03When it gets gonna have the same adjective, like I wouldn't do that to you, girl. You you crazy. It gids is crazy, and you're crazy.
SPEAKER_02Okay, but you say crazy, I thought more of like a woo, like she she would be sassy.
SPEAKER_01I mean, I mean like a woo girl, but like those dangerous woo girls. What is this? Like, like she's like fun, but like she'll like stab you in the back. Like she's psycho, like she's out for her.
SPEAKER_02But I think that girl's clear, I think that girl's sassy. She would stab you in the back, sassily. Yeah, she would. She would she wouldn't do it unsassing.
SPEAKER_03Ends up in the egg clenched, purse clenched. I don't think she's sassy though.
SPEAKER_02But yeah, so so you don't have to become the sassy person, you just kind of drop the surprise element because you are affirming it, creating it. And I think like the law of assumption is that you assume that you will get these things, so you cannot act surprised. And so I think it's just the idea of closing the loop.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, okay.
SPEAKER_02And so it does seem a bit repetitive, but I think you just need to like close the loop, you know. Like now it happens, and you can't be like, Oh, you're just sitting in your room the whole time, you're like, Oh my gosh, yes, I am.
SPEAKER_01I am you got into the world and you're not acting like it. It's not the same thing.
SPEAKER_02It's not the same thing, you're not gonna uh create that magnet for the things that you want or you know, the behavior that you're changing. But yeah, so I I I didn't I agree, it did seem a little bit like it didn't seem like a step, but I think once you do it in practice, I think it'll feel more like a step. Yeah, you know? I think so. Yeah, so so yeah.
SPEAKER_00Interesting. So yeah, you're gonna you're gonna try it. I'm gonna try it.
SPEAKER_02You're gonna try it. Because I've known this for a while and I haven't tried it yet. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01But stopping you from trying it.
SPEAKER_02The writing. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Maybe you can like dictate it. Yeah, I'm gonna try to do it on my dictate.
SPEAKER_03Whoa. I mean dictate writing your journal. I need to find a man. Of course I found a man. Of course I dictate. Okay, I'm gonna do it. No, no, no. Dictate.
SPEAKER_02No, I'll I'll do it in my app. In my zap. My note app. Okay. I'm sure I could download like a journal thing. I think so.
SPEAKER_01Something something for everything. There's an appointment.
SPEAKER_02I'll download a notebook or something and we just The OTG. You know, like we can um don't second guess it. We can I'll try to post on the Instagram um how it went. We can see a little short video if it if we feel like bad bitches. Um what are you going to think it would be crazy if like what are you gonna write in there? What are you gonna manifest?
SPEAKER_01What are you gonna know that's what I think genuinely that's the hardest part for me deciding? Yeah, I think the physically doing it, I'm not intermittent by the process at all. Yeah. But for me, I'm like, what do I do?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, now that the world is my oyster.
SPEAKER_01Like what do I want to improve on, you know?
SPEAKER_00Um I think maybe like we let's.
SPEAKER_02And it's like it's drop that to like why don't you pick something that you like random, you know? Like for the for the test, you know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_01Like it doesn't have to be food worse than a waste of time, you know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_02A week.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_02I mean unless you die after that week, it's pretty okay.
SPEAKER_01I'm okay to die. I don't think that my life would be a waste.
SPEAKER_02That's a different podcast.
SPEAKER_03We need to t we need to turn the energy up. I'm not scared of death, are you? Very much.
SPEAKER_02Um That's what you're saying. Like it doesn't have to be like for the for the practice of this first one and for us to like maybe I'll go like um the negative self-talk.
SPEAKER_01I think I'm gonna do that one. Obviously, I had no negative self-talk today. Um irritated, getting like irritated and like uh at small things. I think I'd like to stop that.
SPEAKER_02Okay.
SPEAKER_00Two small things, two small things, nice.
SPEAKER_02Um yeah, I think I'll I think I'll do Yeah, the the self-doubt one sounds nice. And um I'm gonna try and be like a little psychic. Oh you're a little psychic though.
SPEAKER_00That's why I'm gonna say I can dial a number. Between? Can you put a pan in the shit?
SPEAKER_03For the love of God, woman, give me a try.
SPEAKER_00Like, I'm thinking of an infinite number.
SPEAKER_03Won't tell you how many digits in the world is your oyster. It's pie.
SPEAKER_01Take that. It's a decimal. Okay, um, okay, I'm thinking of a number and it's it's got two numbers. Okay.
SPEAKER_0217.
SPEAKER_01No, 19.
SPEAKER_00That's close. It's close, two off.
SPEAKER_02Not too bad.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_02I always like on Instagram they have those intuition tests. Yeah. Have you ever seen them? I love doing them.
SPEAKER_01I'm good at them.
SPEAKER_02Same. I think everyone is now. Yeah. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01You know, you know why everyone, and this is I get so mad at them. And I don't know if it's just my I'm getting eaten. I'm sorry. I don't know if it's just my Instagram that's doing this, but they're so obvious now. Yeah. And I'm like, why are you giving me a hint? Yeah. Why are you making me feel like I wasn't psychic this whole time? Yeah, you know?
SPEAKER_02Because they want you to feel, but it still keeps me the dopamine. Every time I get a diet, I'm like, you know what gives me the dopamine?
SPEAKER_01Those marble racing videos. And you pick your and your marble wins. Oh my god.
SPEAKER_02Marble never wins. Marble never wins. No, I'm not good at betting. Yeah, I'm not good at betting. I I I'm not a I would never gamble or bet. It's not my thing.
SPEAKER_01Yes. Yes, we are not good at did we tell him? Oh no, we tell him what to say. Oh my god.
SPEAKER_02A while ago, I was like really, really wanting to go ice skating. And so Ron was like, oh fuck. We'll do it with you. Let's go ice skating. So we got ice skating and we obviously go more than once. Yeah. So our second time. Was it a second time going?
SPEAKER_00This was the first time. The first time. Okay. So the first time.
SPEAKER_02Dude, this girl fell, bro. She looked like a blood on the ice skirt. She she looked like a hooker.
SPEAKER_01She looked like a cracky.
SPEAKER_02Cracky. Like her knees were burst up. Like blue. Like at some point she was falling and there was like little patches of blood on the floor. And we were like, is this you?
SPEAKER_01And I fell again and I was like, yes. A little bit of blood. And that's when we left. Yeah, that's when we left.
SPEAKER_02And then we were like, oh, we were at Grand West, you know, we should go gamble. Oh, we walked in there.
SPEAKER_01Guys, like five minutes.
SPEAKER_02Just gone. All the money we set aside and it just disappeared. It was so sad. Like, I'm so bad at it.
SPEAKER_01Dude, and everyone was like everyone around us was like sitting at the same thing the whole time. And like how did people sit there for hours? And people were like, oh, you should play the 10 cents.
SPEAKER_02That's what we did. We played the 10 cents.
SPEAKER_01It was not 10 cents.
SPEAKER_02Dude, I'm not sure. The machine would not take 10 cents.
SPEAKER_01Why say it's a 10 cents machine? You know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_03No, for that haunts me, bro. It haunts me.
SPEAKER_00So stupid. Beautiful, beautiful lie that is.
SPEAKER_03But yeah, anyway, not good at gambling.
SPEAKER_02I wouldn't get it.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, never again. I think what's nice. I think if someone explains the machines, maybe.
SPEAKER_02You know? And also if like if somebody gives me money and then I'm playing like with not my own money, you know? Like, because now I keep thinking, oh, we could have gone and had drinks with that money, you know, or we could have bought something cute. Like it just keeps thinking.
SPEAKER_01When we walked past, we saw the blackjack tables, and I thought you have to like the buy-ins have been like 500. You should have played. It was like 20 rand or something.
SPEAKER_02Blackjack, I'm better at. Because now, like, it's it's the randomness of that. I can't with it.
SPEAKER_01Because I didn't know, like, we didn't know how it was working. Now we were like, oh, now it takes a four-dand and then you win sometimes, but then you can't match the patterns. Yeah. Like it's not like oh you get four in a row and then you win.
SPEAKER_02You are not involved in any way. You just press a button and like I would do it if we like to do that.
SPEAKER_01Maybe we should that maybe that's what we should do.
SPEAKER_02Like I'm good at like what's going on with the actor.
SPEAKER_03Just play him, phone him up, be like, I want you, psych. I don't want you.
SPEAKER_02I don't know. Um maybe we should write in our manifesting journal, be good at of course I'm good at you.
SPEAKER_01Okay, that is a surefire way to go broke. Oh no.
SPEAKER_02But yeah, I'm gonna I'm gonna try and I'm gonna try and be like, of course, my tuition, my intuition. Okay.
SPEAKER_01It's over, ever.
SPEAKER_03Student fees are over. I try to pay my own weight too. Posty and was tough. It haunts me. Of course, my tube bees are paint. Of course. I should have gonna paint it years ago. I don't know why. I don't know why it's maybe I'm looking at my degree on the wall there and I'm like, do I still have fees?
unknownHow old am I?
SPEAKER_02Of course, my intuition was on point. Of course, my signal was signaling. That's what I'm gonna.
SPEAKER_01Okay, that's a good one. The intuition thing that's good.
SPEAKER_02I may do those two and then see. Maybe by the end I'm like, you know what?
SPEAKER_01I want to be see this is now okay. This is when I would go. I'd like to bring more joy. You know, I'd want to be like a light. Like I want to walk into a room and people are like, oh, there comes she's gonna make me laugh. Okay, well, there you go.
SPEAKER_02Finger guns run. Loving, yeah. Yeah, do it.
SPEAKER_01I'll become more fun, loving.
SPEAKER_02I do think what you said, the irritation and the negative sound.
SPEAKER_01I think that's uh maybe I'll be more light.
SPEAKER_02I think you're already on your way, girl. Don't change it.
SPEAKER_01Right, okay, yeah.
SPEAKER_02You know, it's just take some weight, take some weight off, and then you know you'll be lighted. That's just that's how it is.
SPEAKER_03She's not irritated or looking self-doubty. Great, great, okay. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02I think you'll achieve it, man. Okay.
SPEAKER_01In like a week. Oh to tell them. Yeah, we're gonna do a check-in.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, but like can we do it for a week? Because if you do more, I'm probably not gonna do it.
SPEAKER_01Okay, fine, we'll do it in a week. Yeah. We'll just see how it is in a week. They won't they won't see. So it'll be in the past for you guys. Yeah. Because this episode would have been out already. Oh, we don't say that. The podcast I watch, they say do it. Okay. Okay, well then fine. People understand release dates now.
SPEAKER_02We will, but we'll do it now, and then I'll just put it out one after this, a week after this. Yeah.
unknownWe are in control.
SPEAKER_01Of course I'm in control of my personal schedule.
SPEAKER_03I think I'm gonna make a list of things you need to, of course. Don't don't worry, just ignore the man behind the curtain, okay? We will fix this for you.
SPEAKER_02You will see it a week later and you can gauge.
SPEAKER_01It'll make sense to you.
SPEAKER_02It'll make sense to you. Yeah, yeah. But yeah. So we're gonna tie it, we're gonna post it, you're gonna see if it works. If you want to tie it, please let me know. I'm gonna make the post. You can let me know on there if it worked for you as well. Maybe you did it for the week with us. So do it with us.
SPEAKER_01Well, if you want to tell us like what you wrote, I'm a little I'm a little nosy.

SPEAKER_01I would love the channel.
SPEAKER_02She'd love it, did she?
SPEAKER_01I'm gonna try, yeah. Be warned. Don't think it's gonna be a casual conversation.
SPEAKER_02She's gonna get she's gonna feel like she knows you, and she's gonna be like, and then I'll phone you this time. Now, like honestly, do you think he's worth it though?
SPEAKER_01Do you want to use your one? Obviously, on that though.
SPEAKER_02But yeah, and then so so give us a text. Tell tell us, yeah, DM me, DM Ron, you know. Um, I think on the podcast, uh, you can send messages as well if you want to send it directly on the. I'm not 100% sure, but the link in my bio should have something there. So so yeah, so do that. We we'll we'd love to hear about you. And if you want a ding tone, I'm gonna have a chat with Ron about this ding tone. We'll work on it.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I'll work on it. Oh, and also again, happy birthday, Chalice. Huh? Sandwich D sandwiched your birthday with the episode.
SPEAKER_02But yeah, look, throughout this whole journey, at the end of the day, the best advice we can give you is don't overthink it.
