Bella Molloy

A keen cyclist, Bella Molloy quit her career in the corporate world to pursue her passion for life on two wheels.    Along with her husband, she relocated from Australia to Europe in 2020 and now calls the French Pyrenees home.  She runs the cycling business Seek Travel Ride, a website dedicated to helping people plan their ultimate cycling holiday in France. Bella is most content when cycling in the mountains or undertaking a long distance bicycle tour.  In 2022, she successfully participated in and completed her first ultra-cycling event - the Normandicat 900, where she rode 913kms in just over 66hours.

Alastair Humphreys

Alastair Humphreys is a British Adventurer and Author. He spent over 4 years cycling round the world, a journey of 46,000 miles through 60 countries and 5 continents. He is the author of 15 books.
More recently Alastair has walked across southern India, rowed across the Atlantic Ocean, run six marathons through the Sahara desert, completed a crossing of Iceland, busked through Spain and participated in an expedition in the Arctic, close to the magnetic North Pole. He has trekked 1000 miles across the Empty Quarter desert and 120 miles round the M25 – one of his pioneering microadventures. He was named as one of National Geographic’s Adventurers of the year for 2012. In 2023, The Royal Geographical Society gave Alastair the Ness Award for ‘his long-standing contributions to promoting a greater understanding of our world and wider public engagement with the outdoors.’

David McCourt

David McCourt took an incredible 2.5 year Cycle Tour from Melbourne to his hometown village of Cushendall, N.Ireland. This journey saw him cross through the desert Outback in Australia, before making his way across S.E. Asia, then Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Central Asia, Europe and finally returning to Ireland for an incredible homecoming. 

David is a natural storyteller and it was a pleasure to feature him as a guest of the show.

Jessie Brown

Jessie Brown is an environmental researcher from N. Ireland who took a cycling expedition across S.E Asia. The aim of her trip was to measure air pollution from the most polluted to the least polluted place on earth. Each day of her journey she took air pollution readings, collecting data all along the way.

Jude Kriwald

In 2012, aged 19, Jude cycled from England to India, sneaking through Afghanistan and Tibet on the way. Since then, Jude has founded AdventureMentor.org, offering free adventure mentoring, and volunteers as a Basecamp Manager for the British Exploring Society. His award-winning debut documentary, Alone Across Gola, depicts the mental and physical feat of crossing the Liberian jungle, by bike of course.

Madeline Hoffmann

Madeline Hoffmann went on an incredible Cycle Tour from Germany to Australia. This journey spanned over 15 months. Madeline initially only planned to be on the road for 6 months all up and was using this trip as a way to meet her father for the very first time in Türkiye.  But once she got there she knew she would continue before returning to Australia.  Her tour took her through Europe, Across the Middle East, Pakistan, India, South East Asia before completing the final leg from Brisbane to Sydney.

Starting in Patagonia and ending in Colombia, her journey would take her through breathtaking landscapes and endure some challenging conditions. By the end of the journey Melanie discovered new capabilities and is now organising bikepacking events in Austria

Phill Hargreaves

Phil Hargreaves is a UK Adventurer who in 1984 took a cycle tour all the way from the UK to Australia - via Everest Base Camp.  After working in Australia he would eventually make his way back home to the UK - on his bike of course - riding through Australia, New Zealand and then through China and Tibet before catching the Trans Siberian Express back to Europe.  By the time he reached home it would be three years since he first left.

Sarah Ruggins

Sarah Ruggins, a former elite long-distance runner turned ultra cyclist. Sarah's running career aspirations were cut short due to suffering an almost total body paralysis due to a neural disease. Now recovered, she has swapped sports to cycling and has twice competed in one of the world's toughest ultra cycling races, the Transcontinental Race (TCR).

Tristan Ridley has been undertaking long term bike travel adventures since 2015. His first journey saw him set off for a 3 month trip around New Zealand. Then he chose to cycle home...all the way back to the UK! Since then he has cycled more than 80,000kms through 71 countries around the world. Recently he has also taken to creating new off road bikepacking routes such as the Kenya Bike Odyssey.
