[00:00:00] Welcome back to Clear Signal. Today's another backwards to go forwards. This is gonna be foundational for obvious reasons, and I'll keep this brief because it's a short episode. This was back in the day when I was doing a segment called Transformational Tuesdays.

Found this and said, you know what? We're gonna drop this in here quickly before we lose the fact that it's a Tuesday, and these are just quick bites that are useful. Perfect timing. Intuitive flow, is one of the four pillars, foundations, clarity and backwards to go forwards. Yep, we got it. Those are the four foundational pillars of season two, and those are gonna be in every single episode you hear in season two. Season two is wrapping up at the end of the month. We're gonna jam in a bunch of stuff and then you can enjoy it as you would like. Deconditioning has a lot to do with centers. Talked about centers, talked about the head center, talked about influence, and I talked about in that episode in the head center that influence in the head center is not [00:01:00] mindset. Mindset is not human design. Human design is influence through taking in energy from others.

Mindset is very different. Completely different category, and that is why I struggle with this podcast because when this brand started three years ago, I did a Facebook header. 'cause I had was in some group, they're like, you should be on Facebook for this brand. I was like, what are we in 24? What is it? I was like, what is it? 2014? Now, I'm not saying people aren't making a lot of money on Facebook, but it was a big area that people were telling coaches and service-based providers to really double down on.

And the fact that they were telling us to do that in 2023, I was like, uh, excuse me. What anyhoo did a Facebook header, and I had three words on it, business, human design mindset bothered me because I'm not a mindset coach. I struggle with mindset. That's probably my weakest link, and I'll tell you why.

I may mention this in a future podcast, but I've got the sacral center defined [00:02:00] I've got the heart center find. I've got the emotion center defined, I've got the G Center find. That is your sense of direction, that is your sense of self-worth and validation that is taking on other people's emotions.

Those are three of the most conditioned centers in human design. As any sacral being, I'm going to potentially get roped into the things I don't wanna do. But because I've got those other areas defined, I'm less likely to be Conditioned. Centers are not piecemeal. You are a entire vehicle,, there's no piecemeal. And then the centers that I have undefined, I've got a completely open root center. We're gonna talk about the root center. And open is not the same as undefined, and one of the centers that I've undefined is the throat center.

And the throat center in the whole list of the nine centers is the least likely to be conditioned. That leaves me with three centers, the Splenic Center, the head center, and the anja Center of which I [00:03:00] am prone to conditioning, and I am prone to conditioning in those areas. But I'm already cleared out two thirds of the body graph.

And for certain reasons that I'm not gonna get into that are nuanced. When we talk about the intuition episode that's come up down the pike I am less likely to be influenced in the Splenic Center than somebody else, even though I have it undefined. Human design is not as black and white as people wanna make it out to be.

My point being that mindset is where I struggle. So I am very familiar with the difference between mindset and human design. But human design is not mindset. Both are relevant for entrepreneurs, but I do wanna distinguish them.

This is a backwards to go forwards. This is deconditioning. I got a quick episode on my YouTube channel that's about the same length as this that talks about deconditioning, but this is a different angle. I will link that in the show notes.

You're gonna see over the next couple of episodes whenever they drop between now and the season finale, is this notion of all of the episodes linking togethers in ways that you [00:04:00] couldn't even make up if you tried the next episode. Dropping already mentions those four centers for completely different reasons, and in that episode, I mentioned a gentleman, an interview that I did.

And that gentleman comes up several times over the next couple episodes for unplanned reasons. And the point , is I went on his podcast and I was talking about human design. I did not plan to do that. It was a not business podcast. It was one of those podcasts you just feel intuitively called to go on.

He's gonna come on the podcast, I'm sure, down the line. He's a six two. And the bottom line is, is he was new to human design. So on that podcast I was describing what this notion is of the generator and that the generator builds mastery over time.

And so something I'm doing here is I'm pulling back the hood because you're getting episodes from back in the day. My cadence has changed. A lot has changed. I'm not dropping anything where the sound quality's horrible, but there might be a few [00:05:00] where it's not as good. I intuitively didn't switch out my microphone. I've got a , very fancy microphone that I've never set up. I'll be setting up soon, and so my season three episodes might sound very different than this, and that would've been a little bit too much to. Balance. The point is, is you're gonna see, and something I say about brand evolution and Misfit Manifesto, a lot of the episodes of season one were about doing something your way and about honoring the creative process. I had an episode that was one of the most popular episodes of season one, which was unperfect content deserves to be heard. So would you rather this just sat on the hard drive? 'cause I'm like, oh, this is the old style. Or would you rather I taken this? Knitted it on to what we just did. So you've got both.

And now we've got an episode on deconditioning on the feed, and this is what mastery looks like. It's building an iteration. It's not gonna be perfect outta the jump. You are going to get better and better at things the more you do it. My [00:06:00] other platform, the Dark Matter Show, which is formally Cosmic Brew, which is formally caused Maro clock.

I did 113 episodes on that podcast and most of them were in the last five months. That's reps. So I'm gonna sound different on a mic than I would when I did something in 2024, and I could hide that or not. That's why I've said in the past, I love that the RSS on the YouTube channel has all the old names, with all the old covers.

Mastery is not built overnight. And we're gonna talk about mastery with Eric, and I'll mention that in the next couple of episodes. And by the way, that's a big thing of what the sixth line is here to do, is to build mastery in a different way. Let's get into the actual episode, which is deconditioning.

If you are unfamiliar with human design, because deconditioning is a fundamental component of human design and listening to this will help you understand everything else I'm going to talk about. Even if you are familiar with the concept [00:07:00] of deconditioning, I tend to explain things differently than everybody else. There is a video on my YouTube channel that I did on deconditioning, probably about the same length of this podcast, quick and dirty. That video will be linked below if you'd like additional information. . I do business and marketing strategy as part of my applied human design. But I talk about so much more. And so I wanted to actually speak on the definition of mindset. It's a term that's used a lot in the personal development world. And let's just break it down. Mindset is a series of self perceptions or beliefs that people hold about themselves. These beliefs, determined behavior, outlook, and mental attitude. If you have beliefs about what you think is possible. Then you're going to be hard time getting to the next level, but mindset doesn't have to be a big deal. It can be a small deal. It can be [00:08:00] anything.

Deconditioning is a. Human design term that refers to. Releasing notions of how we should be. And that's going to be specific to your type, your profile, your authority, your design, but ultimately we've been conditioned to believe we're all one way, particularly in business. We've been conditioned to believe we all should do things one way. In marketing. Selling. Speaking that we all have the same type of gifts you get the idea deconditioning is taking that away. And frankly, this could be its own full land podcast. And this is meant to be a quick tip, but just remember that in human design, the mind in human design is passenger consciousness. You're not making decisions from it. In mindset coaching, we are making decisions actually all the time based on our subconscious that's what keeps us safe. But it's to be aware that we're making decisions that are from our subconscious and they're not always in our [00:09:00] highest good. Human design is about awareness. Human design is about body awareness and deconditioning is taking all of that, but also being aware of the conditioning from the world around you. . And all of these things, are very important for business owners because that is where you outsource your decision-making. That is where you are conditioned into doing things that you don't want to do. That aren't the right fit for you. And mindset is just so much more important for us because we have to be thinking about things that aren't even done. We're thinking about things that have never been done. We are creating our reality on a daily basis and our mind is always going to tell us we can't and we always have to fight against that. Remember that the mind is a passenger. The body is the highest source of truth. If you want more information on deconditioning and my version of it link below to my YouTube channel and the video.
