Maritza Vazquez

Maritza is a Spanish (Latin American) court and medical interpreter with 10 years of experience. She received the healthcare certification from Certification Commission for Healthcare Interpreters in 2024. She has a BS degree in journalism from The University of Kansas and studied Spanish at the University of Puerto Rico.

Besides English and Spanish, Maritza speaks Italian and Brazilian Portuguese. She is an amateur linguist and is working on becoming a Portuguese-English/Portuguese-Spanish healthcare and community interpreter.
