Maxwell D

Maxwell D

Born in South London in 1979, Maxwell D (real name Denzol Cameron) is a UK garage pioneer, MC, producer and recording artist with over 26 years in the industry. He first entered the scene in 2000 and broke through in 2001 with his debut single Serious, charting at No. 38 in the UK. That same year he co-founded the iconic Pay As You Go Cartel alongside Wiley and DJ Target, whose debut single Champagne Dance hit No. 13 on the UK charts via Sony Music.

Maxwell has collaborated with Ms Dynamite, Dizzee Rascal, Ludacris and Rudimental, and was signed to EMI Publishing. His 2009 club hit Blackberry Hype became a UK Funky House anthem. He is also the founder of Music Through the Bars — a charity supporting rehabilitation through music.

His latest album Emotional Intelligence is out now.

Sian Peters aka DJ SP

DJ SP (Sian)

Sian — professionally known as DJ SP — is a London-born DJ, educator, community builder and mum of three boys. With a background in playwork and a 2:1 in Early Childhood Studies from the University of Roehampton (studied with two kids under five), she has supported children and young people since she was 18, and today works within a SEN school.

Behind the decks, DJ SP specialises in Afro House, Amapiano, Funky House, Gqom and UK underground sounds. She is the founder and CEO of The Antidote — a platform that has elevated over 100 female DJs and artists in three years — and hosts Preekend Vibes on Croydon FM.
