I grew up wanting to be a writer. But somehow switched course halfway through college and got degrees in science and medicine. When the pandemic hit, I switched careers and began working from home, plus my kids are older now. I could start writing again!

And podcasting always seemed like a natural progression. I grew up listening to comedy albums (yes, albums) and there is something cozy about hearing someone tell a story. I’ve always loved short stories. Especially the works of Edgar Allan Poe, and I think that’s why, even though I write humor, it always has a dark undertone to it.

My goal is to help others laugh. The world can be pretty mean. Sometimes we need a little help laughing. I hope you enjoy the stories, and if you do, please reach out to me!

Thank you,

Coffee

Grande

Grande grew up talking to himself, carrying on conversations with different voices so he knew who was talking. Later he did music, speech, and theater until it was time to get a “real job.” And that job was a dream come true — radio sock model. With time he was allowed to talk on the radio and even earned enough money to pay the bills. Granted it was back in the 90s, but it was still a big deal.

Now, he’s doing what he loves the most — talking to himself while using various voices to keep track of the conversation — with occasional visits on stage at the local theaters.

He enjoys talking to himself, talking with others, talking about himself in the third person, and the Oxford comma. Oh and laughing. Because, yeah, we all need more of that.
