If you work in the online space, either as a coach or a consultant or a healer or a practitioner of any kind, most likely you've come across the question, what is the problem that you solve? And I see that there is an inherent risk in trying to answer that question. And that's what I want to explore in today's episode. Welcome to Beyond Burnout for Driven Women. I'm Tertia and this is where we go from burnout to abundance and we take your nervous system along for the ride. If you are doing all of the right things, but you're still not seeing the results, you are in the right place. Here we explore embodiment nervous system work and how to be magnetic in business without going into overdrive or burning yourself out. So we are on a roll here. This is episode five in my six episode miniseries about my own journey in rebuilding my business in an embodied way with the intention to support you to be able to do that as well. We are going to get into the nitty gritty of what's really going on beneath the surface. I'm going to share with you how to start doing things in a different way without these patterns running the show. And you are also going to get the opportunity to to work with a current business challenge that you have. And I'm going to guide you through a process where you will begin to release some of the tension and constriction that is in your body that you are holding around this challenge so that we can begin to free up some energy, create some internal space and capacity so you can have access to some clarity in terms of how to move forward, how to create that momentum and get out of your own way. So, so I hope that you will join us. Well, let's get into the episode today. And this is the fourth thing that I started doing in my business. And it's all about standing fully behind my offer and being excited, passionate and firmly believing in what it is that I have to share with you and the medicine that I'm here to bring to the world. A lot of time. The advice that you'll hear is sell people what they want by finding their pain points. And yes, that's true, because you know, it doesn't help to try something that there's not a market for. But if you take that too literally, you end up building your business from your head. You disregard your own genius, you disregard your own gifts, you disregard your own boundaries, you override your body and your inner wisdom. And you end up creating something that doesn't align with you. Those offers don't align with you. And if you don't feel aligned with your offer, your sales don't feel aligned either. So I don't know what is your current relationship to any offers that you have. I can only share from my own lived experience. And this by the way, is one of the key secrets in into bringing an offer to the world that you feel passionate about. What happened was when I was analyzing possible pain points and possible problems that I could solve, as I was getting more strategic and as I was getting more removed from my body, I was becoming more disembodied in this whole search of trying to move my business forward. I also felt completely disconnected from the offers that I was creating. And I saw the results because those offers did. Didn't do well. This is quite interesting. Often we feel like an imposter and that's a conversation all on its own. When we beginning to stretch our edges, when we stepping out of our comfort zone and as we start growing, it is very possible for us to start feeling like an imposter. But this was different. This was me playing in a context that I didn't have a relationship with. And what that caused was that I was hiding parts of myself. I didn't feel the confidence or the willingness even. I didn't feel safe enough to bring all of myself to my conversations and to the way that I was showing up and to the office that I was promoting. Because there wasn't that recognition and there wasn't that resonance. I always use this metaphor of holding a big blow up beach ball under the water. You exert so much energy, you use so much of your life force energy to keep that ball under the water, under the surface of the water. And that's what happens when we hide parts of ourselves behind masks. And that's what happens when we contort ourselves, when we shapeshift, when we try to be something that we are not. And that sounds terribly dramatic, but this is my experience of what happens in our businesses as well. If you don't have that kind of relationship with your offer, if you are not in resonance with your offer, then you are going to do everything in your power to make it look as if there is a relationship. And what that means is your effort is all going to keep that ball in place. And it ties up your creativity, it ties up your passion, and it ties up your expression. My experience over this past year has shown me a key ingredient of being successful is congruence. There has to be congruence between me and my offer. And that does not come from trying to solve a pain problem through the level of the mind. That congruence, in my experience, can only be achieved through embodiment, through connecting into the wisdom of your body and using your internal felt sense, all of the feelings and the sensations to help guide you and to give you the clarity that you need. It is very, very difficult to get that kind of clarity when you are only working strategically in your mind, with your awareness focused outwards. And it was only when I brought this back into my lived experience again, when I brought this back into my body, when I started doing embodiment practices to connect with my own inner genius and my own inner medicine and my own inner wisdom, that I began to get the clarity of what the actual problem is that I'm here to serve. When we have embodied clarity, it creates coherence between our words and our energy and our nervous system. And when you are in that state, when you are coming from a state of embodied clarity, your audience feel that right. They feel grounded in your own conviction. And that builds trust when you're speaking from your own truth. Your messaging, your marketing, the way you show up, the way you express yourself, it's aligned with you.
