Welcome to the Healing Mile. I'm Carrie, your walking bestie and meditation coach. Let's walk together. Today we're walking through anxiety, not fighting it, not judging it, just moving through it. With breath, with steady steps, and with a little more kindness than maybe you've given yourself lately. This is your time. In just 20 minutes, you're going to give your body movement, your mind space, and your heart a chance to soften. So wherever you are, let's start walking at a comfortable pace. There's no rush, there's no pressure, there's nothing else to do, and nowhere else to be. Just me and you, your breath, and the earth beneath your feet. As you walk, start to notice your breath. You don't need to change it, just notice it. In through your nose, out through your mouth. Feel the rhythm of it. Step after step. Notice how your arms move naturally by your sides. Let your shoulders loosen a little with each exhale. You are here. You are safe in this moment. Anxiety can feel like being trapped inside your mind. Right now, we're gently pulling you out. Back into your body. Back into your breath. Back into this moment. As you walk, imagine each step shaking a little bit of that tension loose. Step and release. Step and soften. Feel the fresh air brushing against your skin. Notice the sounds around you. The birds, the breeze, distant life moving quietly. Let those sounds remind you life keeps moving gently and naturally. Nice and easy.

Keep moving forward.

Anxiety may be loud, but your breath is steady and comforting. Anxiety isn't weakness. It's not failure. Anxiety is your body's way of trying to protect you. Sometimes too much. Sometimes at the wrong time. But it always comes from a place that wants you to survive. And today you're showing your body a new way. That stillness can live inside you even when the world feels fast. You're building trust with yourself. One breath, one step, one mile at a time. When the mind wants to spin stories of fear, of worst case scenarios, of what ifs, you gently come back to your body. Come back to your breath. Not because anxiety is gone, but because you are bigger than your anxiety. But you stay. Step by step, breath by breath, becoming stronger than you knew you could be. As you keep walking, I'll offer some simple affirmations. You don't have to say them out loud, just repeat them to yourself. I am safe in this moment. I am safe in this moment. I am stronger than my fear. I am stronger than my fear. I am allowed to move at my own pace. I am allowed to move at my own pace. My breath is my anchor.

Every step I take is a step towards peace. Every step I take is a step towards peace. Breathe those words in.

Let your feet, your breath, and your heart move together steady and strong. As we wind down this walk, take a slow deep breath in through your nose and let it go softly out through your mouth. Notice how your body feels now. Notice the way your steps have found their rhythm. Notice how your mind feels now. Notice the space you created inside yourself just by moving. Twenty minutes of healing, strength, and peace. Carry that strength into the rest of your day. Knowing you can always come back to your breath. Nice and easy. Subscribe to the podcast, and come back for another walk soon. New episodes drop every Monday. Thank you so much for walking with me, and I'll see you on the path again soon.
