Welcome to the Healing Mini Mile. I'm Carrie, your walking bestie, and this is the first episode of season two. I'm so excited you're here. This season is going to be awesome. It's called the Body Love Series. Now let's be clear, we're not chasing a new body or we're trying to fix an old one. We're just learning to feel good in the one we already have. So, whether you're walking outside, moving around your house, or just standing and breathing, this time is for you to reconnect, to reset, and to remember that your body is your home. You don't have to look different to feel different. You don't have to change a thing to belong in your own skin. So, come on, let's take this quick walk together. Take a deep breath in through your nose and exhale slowly through your mouth. Let your shoulders drop. Let your mind catch up to this present moment. You don't need to be anywhere else right now. This walk is about remembering what it feels like to feel good in your skin, to relax into the body that carries you, supports you, and holds your story. So as we begin to move, notice the natural rhythm of your steps, the steady rise and fall of your breath, the gentle strength beneath your skin. This is you, alive, moving, and whole. Feeling good in your skin is about connection. It's about coming back home to your body after a long time away. It's about appreciation for how your body shows up every single day, even when you're tired, distracted, or unsure. As you walk, start to feel that quiet gratitude building. Your body doesn't need to be fixed or perfected to be worthy of your love. It just needs your presence and your awareness. Let's make this simple and real. Start with the sensation. Feel the air brushing against your skin, the weight of your feet landing, the muscles working to move you forward. Every sensation is proof of life. Proof that you are here, participating in this beautiful moment. Bring curiosity to your thoughts. If a critical thought pops up, take a breath and let it pass. You don't have to believe every thought that tries to pull you away from your peace. You don't. Keep walking, keep breathing. Honor your body's effort. Think of everything your body does for you. Walking, creating, holding, loving, thinking, healing. You've overcome so much, and your body has been right there, carrying you through it all. That's something to celebrate every single day. Take a moment and silently say, thank you, body. Let those words really sink in. Every time you move with kindness, your body softens. You can actually feel it. Every time you show gratitude to your body, your nervous system calms. This is how you rebuild trust. Step by step, breath by breath. When you connect with your body this way, you don't just feel better physically. Your mind clears, your mood lifts, and your energy rises. You start to feel like yourself again. Feeling good in your skin changes everything. You walk differently, you speak more kindly to yourself. You notice beauty where you used to find flaws. You start caring for yourself from a place of love instead of pressure. Your body begins to respond to that energy with balance, strength, and calm. You feel grounded, you feel steady, you feel literally at home. Ask yourself, what's one small way I can show my body appreciation today? Maybe it's a stretch, a nourishing meal, a warm bath, or simply resting without guilt. Whatever it is, give yourself that. Now let's close out with some beautiful affirmations. Repeat these quietly to yourself. I feel safe in my body. I am grateful for all that my body allows me to do. I trust my body and honor its wisdom. I move through life with love and confidence. I feel at home in my skin. Now pause for a quick breath. Notice how those words feel in your body. That warmth and peace you feel, that's your body saying thank you. Let's take one final deep breath in. And release. You just reconnected with yourself in the quickest, simplest, most beautiful way. By walking, breathing, and just being present.
