Daniel Yoo is the founder and CEO of FinMate AI, an AI note-taking assistant specifically designed for financial advisors. With a unique combination of financial advisory experience and technical expertise, Daniel spent seven years as a financial advisor at major firms, including Equitable, TD Ameritrade, and Schwab, where he oversaw $800 million in client assets as a Senior Advisor.

As an employee of Rolls-Royce Dr Oates won the Sir Henry Royce award twice, once for leading the cybersecurity efforts for remotely operated ships, and once as part of the team behind a cryptographic framework for securing confidential data on remote compute resource for computational fluid dynamics. During his time at National Grid he predominantly focused on the impact of OT/IT convergence on threat modelling by demonstrating how controls in one domain could prevent propagation of threats into adjacent domains.
