Whether you're just getting started or have been podcasting for years, Buzzsprout Subscriptions provide a clear path to a listener-supported podcast.
You can set up a subscription and start by accepting recurring support from your listeners in less than 2 minutes. Then, once you're ready, you can start incentivizing more listeners to support the show with premium subscriber-only content.
Buzzsprout Subscriptions is available on all paid plans, so there's no need to set up another tool or manage multiple platforms.
Removing email address from RSS Feeds
Email spam has increasingly become an issue for podcasters. Spammers and bots routinely scrape RSS feeds to collect podcasters' email addresses and send them junk emails.
To help protect your privacy, Buzzsprout is removing email addresses from your RSS Feed so that shady marketers and bots cannot find your email address.
If you ever need to include your email in your feed, like when submitting to iHeart Radio, we’ve created a simple way to add an email address to your feed for 24 hours. This is enough time to verify you own the podcast without allowing the spammers and bots to grab your email address.
We hope this makes your email experience a bit nicer.
Your Episode Footer is an easy way to add the same information to the end of all your episode descriptions. It's perfect for adding links to social media profiles, to credit the team that makes your podcast, or to give your listeners an easy way to contact the show.
Anything you write in your Episode Footer will automatically be added to the end of the episode description for every episode.
Finding Mid-Roll Placements in Buzzsprout Ads
Buzzsprout Ads can now find insertion points in your entire back catalog automatically.
Just click on an episode without insertion points, click Mid-Roll Settings, and Buzzsprout Ads will find mid-roll placements for that episode. This is especially useful for podcasts with evergreen content.
Buzzsprout Ads Mid-Roll Settings
Buzzsprout Ads automatically finds mid-roll ad spots in your podcast episodes, and we've added additional controls over which mid-roll ad spots are used for Buzzsprout Ads.
You can disable ads for an entire episode or just remove a single mid-roll insertion point that you don't like. This is especially helpful if you're using Buzzsprout Ads, but have specific episodes you don't want to monetize.
Custom Date Range in Buzzsprout State
You can now view custom date ranges for your Buzzsprout statistics. This makes it much easier to run reports and measure the effectiveness of your podcast promotions. Huge thanks to everybody who asked for this feature!
Buzzsprout Wallet
Podcasters can now cash out the money they've earned from Buzzsprout Ads to their PayPal account or use it to automatically pay their monthly Buzzsprout invoice.
Buzzsprout is bringing YouTube-style monetization to podcasting. Just turn it on and approve the ads you like. Ads are magically placed into your episode with beautifully crafted transitions that sound great. This is the future of podcast monetization!

The new Share Page for Buzzsprout is a single page with links to everywhere that your podcast lives online. This is the best link to share on social accounts or anywhere you're promoting your podcast.
