1. Which Buzzsprout plan should I choose?
When you're just getting started, we recommend a single Audio Podcast plan. If you decide to add video in the future, you can upgrade to an Audio + Video plan, which adds video distribution to Apple Podcasts.
If you have multiple podcasts, you can upgrade to a Multi-Podcast plan that can support either 5 or 10 podcasts.
2. How many podcasts can I have on each plan?
The standard Audio Podcast plan includes a single podcast with unlimited episodes. Audio + Video includes a single audio podcast with video distribution to Apple Podcasts. Multi-Podcast plans include 5 or 10 podcasts.
3. Are upload hours per podcast or shared across my shows?
On Multi-Podcast plans, upload hours are shared across all of your podcasts.
4. How do upload limits work?
Every Buzzsprout plan includes a set number of upload hours each month for new content. When you upload an episode, its full length counts toward that month’s total.
Unused upload hours don’t roll over to the next month.
5. What happens if I go over my upload hours?
If you upload more than your plan includes, you can keep publishing as usual. We’ll bill the additional upload time at your plan’s hourly rate and add it to your next invoice.
6. Can I pay annually instead of monthly?
Yes, all plans have the option to pay annually and receive a discount. Annual plans include a full year of upload hours.
7. What happens if I use all of my upload time on an annual plan?
Annual plans come with a fixed amount of upload time, so additional upload time isn't available. If you need more, you can upgrade to a higher annual plan.
8. What do I get on the free plan?
The free plan includes 2 hours of free podcast uploads each month, and we host your episodes for 90 days. The free plan does not include paid add-ons or video distribution.
9. What happens if I stop publishing?
We offer an Archive plan for $5/month that keeps your podcast live without new uploads. You can switch back to a standard plan anytime if you start publishing again.
10. Are transcripts included in my plan?
Yes, Buzzsprout automatically creates transcripts for new episodes on all current paid plans at no additional cost. Your transcripts are included in your RSS feed, distributed to podcast apps, and included on your Buzzsprout website.
11. What is Cohost AI?
Cohost AI is a paid add-on that helps you create your episode titles, descriptions, chapter markers, blog posts, and social posts.
12. What are the paid add-ons?
We offer optional add-ons like Cohost AI and Magic Mastering. Pricing depends on your plan, and you can add or remove them at any time.
13. What if I'm on a Legacy plan?
Existing customers may keep their Legacy plans and pricing. If you downgrade, cancel, or move your podcast, you will not be eligible for Legacy pricing.

14. Will I be charged sales tax?
We collect sales tax where required based on your billing location. If it applies, you’ll see it clearly on your invoice.
