Buzzsprout podcast transcript editor
We’ve upgraded the Buzzsprout Transcript Editor so you can review and polish transcripts in a cleaner, more flexible workspace.
The editor still keeps your transcript in sync with the audio, but it now feels much closer to editing a simple document. You can stay focused longer, move through mistakes faster, and export the final text in the format you need.

Upgraded Transcript Editor
We’ve upgraded the Buzzsprout Transcript Editor so you can review and polish transcripts in a cleaner, more flexible workspace.
The editor still keeps your transcript in sync with the audio, but it now feels much closer to editing a simple document. You can stay focused longer, move through mistakes faster, and export the final text in the format you need.
Here is what’s new:
- Full screen mode: Focus on long transcripts without distractions.
- Better speaker selection: Preview voices, then assign clear names and roles.
- Quickly change speakers: Update the speaker for any section right from the text.
- Reliable play and pause: Use double click and the space bar to control audio.
- Download options: Export transcripts as TXT, SRT, or VTT files.
- Improved typography: Cleaner spacing and type for easier reading.
To try it, open any episode with a Buzzsprout transcript, click View Transcript or Edit, and you’ll see the updated editor.
