Creating and managing your
Apple Podcasts Subscription is about to get a lot easier with the Buzzsprout + Apple Podcasts Subscription Integration. Let us show you what we mean!
This integration between Buzzsprout and Apple Podcasts will allow you to manage your free episodes and premium content from within your Buzzsprout account. So if you're on a paid Buzzsprout plan, you already have access to this integration.
Setting Up the Integration
Follow these steps to link your Apple Podcasts Subscription to your Buzzsprout account:
- Start by logging into your Podcast Connect account. If you don't have one yet, you can create one here.
- Join the Apple Podcasters Program and complete the agreement. This includes contact, tax, and banking information.
- Set up your Apple Podcasts Subscription by following Apple's process here: Set up a show subscription
- Next, you will need your API Key. In Podcast Connect, head to Account > Keys and click the + icon, or Generate API Key.
- Name your API Key when prompted.
- Click Generate and download the generated file to your computer!
Then head back to your Buzzsprout account, and go to Monetization > Buzzsprout Subscriptions and click the Connect to Apple Podcasts button at the bottom of the page. Then you can upload the generated API file to Buzzsprout!
Now, you're all set! Your subscription episodes in Buzzsprout will be sent to your Apple Podcasts subscription, making the process a breeze for you and easy to access for your listeners!
